As [member="Thel Antares"] asked his question, Ultimatum answered quickly, "Big tentacled creature, very dangerous in tight spaces. A distant relative of the Sarlaac."
Ultimatum wasted no time. With the basic plan of action, as obscure and lacking in information as it was, the droid could begin formulating a continuation. Pulling his lightsaber close, Ultimatum waited until [member="Equinox"] had started his charge. As the organic raced haphazardly towards the enemy's maw, Ultimatum ignited his saber. The silvery blue blade shone brightly in the cold darkness. Ultimatum did not really know if the organic required assistance, or if this was part of his internal plan. Without proper communication the droid was at a loss; however, his programming told him that the organic was in danger. Begrudgingly, Ultimatum would work to fulfill the program's requirement. He hoped that [member="Dano Dil"] was safe, though the mad dash away from the confrontation was probably the smartest move out of the lot. Ultimatum would have perhaps suggested a plan more akin to Thel's hiding and avoidance, as direct attacks were a dodgy business when it came to beasts like this.
Of course, they had several distinct advantages. The Rathtar was a massive being with many tentacles; these appendages would no doubt be points where heat could exude and quickly. Further, the creature was not adapted to the sudden changes in brightness, which might have debilitated its eyesight, or whatever little vision it had. If they could lure it outside into the cold, it would probably become quite sluggish and die within half an hour, assuming it failed to find another safe haven. This being would not last on this world. Ultimatum theorized that one of the native Gorgodon's would probably defeat this creature and it would have food to feast on for days, a rare luxury on this planet.
Even as Ultimatum called upon Upari to begin one of the Force techniques they had learned from their master, the Duro turned and fired on the beast. The Dark Jedi seemed to be handling himself compitantly, though Ultimatum felt sympathy for the beast who was being killed in such a prolonged and painful manner. The injury did not improve the animal's disposition, and it soon turned on the three down the hall. With his calculations complete, Upari drew the Force to himself and put the theory into action. Most Force users, when first learning about the Force and how to use it, were taught simple techniques and abilities such as rudimentary telekinesis, leaping, increasing one's physical capabilities. However, Ultimatum tutor had been far from conventional. She had taught the Shard and droid abilities that were usually reserved for more achieved and well-learned knights. Ultimatum and Upari had been quick to learn and just as swift to prove their ability to use what they had learned.
In this case, a long line of green energy arced from the droid's chest to the creature's outstretched tentacles. If not for the color, it could have been mistaken for the infamous Sith ability, Force lightning. But, Ultimatum was no Sith and this new ability was instead a Jedi technique. Electric Judgement. The power was enough to severely injure, if not outright kill the beast.
