Kashyyyk Rendevous

Reggie searches for the trooper when he was done, finding him doing work around the ship. He walks up to him, wondering if he can assist the man.

"Is there anything I can help with sir?"

Reggie was always used to calling people older than him or who have a higher rank than him "Sir" or "master". Many people have told him not to call them by such titles but he was just so used to it. He nodded as the trooper said this, understanding that he needs to relax a bit.

"Right. Well Alex, let me know if you do need something."

He walks over to a window, watching as they traveled through space.

"Yes, I do like the site of it. Beautiful view."

It didn't take much to impress Reggie when it came to how something looks, especially since he grew up looking at sand for most of his life.

"You probably had a more eventful childhood than I did, a longer one too, considering my former accelerated aging, no, I don't age at an accelerated rate anymore, in fact I don't age at all anymore nor can I die of age, my extended exposure to experimental cryogenic chemicals ensured that."

Hearing this gave Reggie mixed feelings. This man was much much older than what he looked, and would always be older than what his appearance showed. Not only that, but Reggie understood that the Jango Fett clones were created for battle, so they didn't have a childhood to begin with when a person really thinks about it.

"Clones seem to have had a path chosen for them since birth. I apologize for you and your brethren."

Reggie said this to be respectful, not seeing that it may be something that he shouldn't have said.

"It wasn't all bad, our training is what helped us grow to see each other as brothers, we bonded as a whole, but I appreciate the sentiment, and I guess I'll probably also always feel like a 19 year old, which I guess isn't all bad, I don't have to worry about old age hitting me like it did with the rest of us clones," he chuckled.

"That definitely is one perk to not aging."

While that was true, most people that have achieved some type of immortality in Reggie's research have all felt despair and pain. Not aging has ad advantages, but the also have their disadvantages.

"While I know my new ability can be a curse in some ways, I push past them and enjoy life, you gotta enjoy the smaller things life offers, otherwise it isn't worth living."

Reggie respected the trooper's wise words, taking what the older man said to heart.

"That is true. The smaller things can offer people opportunities and experiences that others don't, that I understand."

Reggie was always a person people could talk to, and he took pride in that. His greatest strengthen are his words, which is why he hasn't been in many fights in his life, and he hopes he can keep that fights he get into to a minimum.

"Well i'm glad you feel comfortable enough around me to talk about such a subject Alex. You and me are friends now, so you can always discuss such things with me."

For some reason, Reggie was always able to make friends easily, which was something he was happy about.

Reggie followed the trooper eagerly, looking forward to learning whatever he could. He faced the trooper, ready to begin. He closed his eyes, breathed in through his noes, and out through his mouth. It helped him calm his mind when he did this, especially when he got too excited or too fearful.

"Alright we will start with Force Stun, for this I'll have you practice on an old B1 battle droid, unarmed and reprogrammed of course." With that an old battle droid commander, identifiable by the yellow markings on it, it then stood across from Reggie. "Alright now when it starts walking toward you, focus on stopping it as a whole, without using force push, use the force to stop it in its tracks."

[member="Reggie Faayare"]

Reggie extended his hand and focused on stopping the droid as it walked towards him. He felt the force and thought that he was close to achieving the goal, but failed in doing so, allowing the droid to reach his position. Even though he failed, the experience helped him understand what needs to be done to achieve the desired affect.

"Alright, let's try again. I'll get it this time."
