Built in Hypergate Ring
Automated Droid Pilot

Strengths.gif

  • + 999 to Agility - The dropship is agile, making a zero point turn turf mower jealous.
  • Flash is Faster than Superman: Which means the ship is also faster than a speeding bullet
  • Dance of the Nutcracker - The hull is one tough nut to crack
  • Around the World in 80 Days - The hypergate ring which is built into the drop ship allows the boarding party to travel from the carrier ship, via a second hypergate, to the target ship. Jules Verne could have put this in his book.

Weaknesses.gif

  • Diary of A Wimpy Kid - The ship has no armaments, and therefore is severely lacking in firepower.
  • I Can’t Go the Distance - No hyperdrive means this ship is incapable of faster than light travel.

Description.gif

John Locke John Locke and Gerwald Lechner came to an agreement over the shipyards of Seswenna for the construction of new and expanded shipyards with the efficiency required to handle the maintenance and construction of the Second Legion. The contract led to further deals to see the Second Legion outfitted with unique technology which would be fitting for its raider-like tactics. The Dread Wolf needed dropships, boarding ships, troop transports, and submersibles. All of them with the key objective of overwhelming the enemy with as many raiders as possible.

With that in mind, the pair concocted a vessel which would meet the needs of several transports. What made this dropship unique was that it employed the use of hypergate technology. Hailing back to their days among the CIS, the Wolf and the Scientist opted for a ship which could be piloted by a droid and lead to minimal casualties upon deployment. There was already great risk to those which would charge the enemy from the ship, eliminating one factor seemed prudent. Gerwald would rather lose ships than soldiers. It was a numbers game.

While the ship employs hypergate technology it can also be manned. The ship boasts a troop capacity of 36.

The Karve Dropship is exclusive to the Second Legion, ensuring that Gerwald Lechner maintains a certain advantage over those of the other legions. Its hull has been designed to be almost impenetrable. The ship was not designed to have offensive capability or functionality. It is purely meant to be a bridge from point A to point B.

Very cool, I love the SGA puddlejumpers! I'd like to ask you to add these to the template. These are still part of the template even if they are not in the premade fields.
  • Squadron Count: (Please provide the amount of fighters this submission would have in a squadron. The average squadron for any starfighter is 12, at lengths averaging 12.5 meters. The bigger the fighter, the smaller your Squadron Count should be. The smaller the fighter, the bigger your Squadron count can be. [None: 1 | Very Low: 4 | Low: 8 | Average: 12 | High: 16 | Very High: 20 | Extreme: 24 ] Squadron Sizes may be listed as just the rating.)
  • Hyperdrive: (Does this ship have a hyperdrive? If this ship has a hyperdrive how fast is it? The lower the number, the faster the ship is, you may choose decimals. Any speed below 1.0 requires the hyperdrive to be added to the ship’s strengths and accordingly balanced with weaknesses. Links: Hyperdrive, Hyperdrive Comparisons)[/lisr]

Again as with the other submission, the template was a prefilled out dropdown that didn't allow me to do as you’re requesting. That is why it’s in the written body. I feel since it is accounted for somewhere in the submission it sho be satisfactory considering the described issue.

I agree with the hyperdrive, but not with the rest, I don't see any indication of what size the ship is or what size of squadron it is in. Yes, the template was pre-filled, but if you look at it, the templates still exist and the information requested is information that is still relevant to the sub, because the dropdown doesn't cover everything that the template contains.

MANIAC MANIAC derp I see what you’re saying now. I could have sworn i included that and did not.

That being said and for what it’s worth, the defaults for the factory when you input a new thread ask for special features and below. To avoid confusion it may help to change that as the fields in the template you’re asking for are above that.

should be good now
