OVERVIEW:
Karok has yet to make a name for himself!
PERSONALITY:
Karok's personality is a complex blend of resilience, hyper-aggression, and latent ambition. From as far back as Karok could remember, He was a slave. Bred and born into subservience to a Hutt overlord. A young gen'dai, never taught about his own kind save for the holonet and told that he could never be defeated. What do you think would happen next? Karok raised to be a champion of the arena and prized gladiator. This paired with the many boons of his species, He quickly learned that violence was an answer and it was rewarded. Karok rarely persuades or attempts to convince others, he certainly has this skill but he lacks experience with it. He is arrogant beyond belief. Intimidation and blatant aggression took the place of negotiation and collaboration in spades. Cruelty and psychological games were also imprinted and taught to him by his former Hutt master.
STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:
Karok's greatest strengths lie in his incredible physical prowess and sharp intellect. As a Gen'dai, he possesses extraordinary regenerative abilities and is known for insane feats of strength. His experiences in the gladiator pits and Hutt-Ball arenas have honed his fighting skills and strategic thinking, allowing him to quickly adapt to and overcome conflict. However, despite his raw power and innate intelligence, Karok has significant weaknesses. His upbringing has left him ignorant with vast gaps in his knowledge, particularly in areas outside of combat and survival. Moreover, his understanding of the Force is practically non-existent. This lack of comprehensive knowledge and formal education often leads to frustration and impulsive decisions. He struggles to reconcile his natural abilities with the complex realities of the wider galaxy.
BACKGROUND:
Karok's early years of servitude were spent in the brutal sport of Hutt-Ball, a violent game that served both as a public spectacle and a means of settling disputes. Despite the grueling nature of the sport, Karok excelled, his resilience and tenacity making him a rising star in the arena. However, as time went on, Karok's experiences in Hutt-Ball began to change him. The constant exposure to violence and the necessity of survival at any cost started to awaken a more aggressive and brutal side within him.
Recognizing this shift, the Hutts saw an opportunity to further exploit Karok. They transferred him from the Hutt-Ball arenas to the deadly gladiator pits, where he was forced to fight for his life against a myriad of opponents. It was in these pits that Karok truly came of age. Each battle honed his skills and his burgeoning rage, transforming him into a fearsome warrior. His prowess and ferocity in the pits did not go unnoticed.
One day, as Karok emerged victorious from yet another gruesome fight, a dark figure watched from the shadows. This individual, a Sith Lord of significant power and influence, saw something in Karok that even the young Gen'dai himself did not recognize: a latent potential for the Dark Side. Impressed by Karok's raw power and untapped potential, the Sith offered him a chance for a different kind of freedom—a sponsorship to join the Sith Jutrand Academy. Accepting this offer, Karok was liberated from his life of slavery, but he understood that true freedom would come at a cost.
ACT I: TRADING ONE FOR ANOTHER - JUTRAND ACADEMY
Despite being perhaps the most physically imposing midst the litter of other sith acolytes, Karok quickly recognized that the Sith Order treated their future sith no different than the Hutts did with their prize slaves. It came as no surprise that some acolytes were favored over others. What Karok found astonishing was how favored these other acolytes were regardless of their effectiveness in battle or ability to use the force. Some, no, many of them he saw as privileged. They were not callused as he was. More skilled in politics native to the sith hierarchy than the darkside itself.
It was this recognition of pattern that got him in trouble.
Karok was placed among the weakest of his class. Ranked at the very bottom. A position that he found prestige in, but also left him with a bitter taste. Midst the bottom he ruled supreme. His strength making him a natural born leader. Those that followed his whims he protected for a price, but even so this position offered him no growth. No teachers sought him out. No other lords or ladies knew of his existence. A king of trash. The Worm King of the Fifth Trash. Meanwhile the more favored and upper echelons of the classes of acolytes enjoyed the perks of being practically untouchable by conventional means. The Gen'dai watched many that followed him simply bow down to other students under the tutelage of sith lords. They feared they would disappear, as many students did.
Karok however did not fear this. He fought with overseers, prefects and teachers alike. No sith nor a acolyte was safe in till they were. Throughout months Karok cut a bloody path through all manner of foes. Including those favored and sponsored. As a result the attention of various Sith lords and their contacts made moves against Karok to hinder his blatant disregards of consensus social beliefs.
Karok had his time and then like many others he suddenly disappeared. Few knew where he went or what happened. It is a topic that Karok does not want to remember or cannot...

FORCE ABILITIES: Karoks grasp of the force is still rudimentary. In comparison to his martial skills, despite being force sensitive, His powers with the force are limited. Karok has knowledge of telekinesis. Capable of attack and defense but innately this takes more focus and concentration. To compensate for this Karok prefers using to Force to adjust his and others momentum and inertia. This is easier to use but requires timing to work in his favor. Another rather lush ability is Dark Rage, but this only occurs when emotions teeter over the edge. Where Karok shines, as far as the force goes, is in the area of mentalism. Mind tricks, illusions and probing the mind. In this territory he is quite advanced despite no formal training and a dislike of "underhanded" paths to victory.
RACIAL ABILITIES: Karok is Gen'dai, a species renowned for extreme longevity and unusual physiology. Gen'dai possess no centralized organs such as a heart or lungs; instead, their bodies are composed of thousands of independent muscle-cords, tendon bundles, and regenerative fibers. These structures collectively serve all vital functions, making traditional anatomical vulnerabilities largely irrelevant. A Gen'dai's nervous system is fully decentralized. Rather than relying on a single brain, neural processing is distributed throughout the entire body. Consciousness arises from a networked pattern of electrochemical communication across these tissues. This distributed cognition allows for multiple simultaneous sensory and motor responses and contributes to the species' characteristic instantaneous reflexes, dexterity and infamous nociception.
Gen'dai sensory interpretation differs significantly from that of most species. Stimuli are registered across many localized nodes rather than filtered through a single control center, resulting in complex and often asynchronous perception. Their awareness of time tends to be broadened, with external movement and reactions by other species appearing comparatively slow or predictable. Gen'dai regeneration is continuous and highly efficient. Muscle-cords, tendons, and neural strands repair themselves at accelerated rates, contributing to what is labeled as their alledged "immortality" by the rest of the galaxy. This is far from the truth. If total systemic disruption occurs or if too much stimuli is consistent across their entire form, then a Gen'dai can be forced into a state of hibernation in order to prioritize regeneration. In this state they are vulnerable. Strength levels are considerably above humanoid norms, and physical endurance is effectively sustained by constant cellular renewal.
As a young adult of his species, Karok retains the typical attributes associated with Gen'dai physiology— extreme resilience, immense physical strength, rapid reflex capability, and robust regenerative capacity.
I'm a walking nerve-cluster.
MARTIAL ABILITIES: Born into slavery under the Hutts, Karok was raised to be weapon and a spectacle. Fighting is part of his identity for better or worse. A gladiator and champion of Huttball. From a young age Karok was trained to be the best. To use his physique and take what is his. This same mentality and ambition bleeds into Karoks skill as a swordsman. Likewise, Karok has come to rely on the lightsaber style that the Jutrand instructors encouraged all initiates and acolytes to use by default. Form VII: Juyo. This paired with Karoks acceptance of pain, not to mention his regenerative properties, makes for a unforgiving opponent.
