STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:
Say When: Kaz’s dedication to COMPNOR, and by extension, the NIO, drives him to borderline fanaticism. He is willing to do just about anything, on or off the books, for their cause.
Bullseye: He is an incredible marksman, able to go head to head with the best sharpshooters in the galaxy.
Skin of the Teeth: He may not be Force sensitive, but Kaz is incredibly lucky, largely do to his killer instincts and quick reflexes.
Seen Some Things: Kaz’s underworld background has given him a vast list of contacts, as well as a cornucopia of skills befit of an agent of the NIO.
Loose Screws: He is a bit of a loose cannon, making him unpredictable in certain situations.
Wanted Man: Though the NIO has provided him with a full pardon, Kaz is still wanted in much of the galaxy, making him a target of bounty hunters.
APPEARANCE:
Kaz is a strong, intimidating presence of a man. He is tall, muscular, and is rarely seen without his signature mask. His demeanor is often seen as uncomfortably still, only adding to the uncomfortable silence that he usually puts into practice. He often wears a long, dark, armorweave jacket with a fur collar. Underneath the jacket is a dark, practical suit. He keeps a blaster on his hip, and a vibroknife in his boot.
PERSONALITY:
Kaz is known to be uncomfortably silent and intimidating at times when not on the job. He doesn’t care to play with others, and is a bit of a loner. This won’t keep him from working with others while on a mission, but it definitely makes him difficult to connect with at times. His life as been tough, and in turn, has made him tough. He’s a very “kill or be killed” sort of individual, believing that the only one you can truly rely on is yourself.
BIOGRAPHY:
The minutia of Kaz’s past is largely lost to the history books. What is known, however, is that he was born on Ord Mantell, and that he grew up on the streets. He spent much of his youth as a low level tough guy for a small time crime boss, at least, until he got offworld.
Kaz was sent on a smuggling run, guarding a transport of arms to one of the Hutts. The deal went bad, but the Hutt was impressed by Kaz’s abilities, and took him on as an enforcer. This business relationship continued for many years, until he was caught by the NIO during a deal. The NIO, understanding the merit of his more “off the record” skills, gave him a choice; be convicted and face his sentence, or become an operative for them in exchange for a full pardon. Kaz chose the latter.
In the following years, he established his worth within the ranks of COMPNOR, carrying out a variety of clandestine missions on their behalf. Furthermore, he began to actually believe in their cause, finally feeling that he had a place where he belonged. Now, he travels the galaxy, carrying out the tasks that the NIO would rather keep off of the books.
