Biography
Kara was born and lived most of her life on Miranda. Like much of the population, she was a malnourished feral child who survived off cannibalism and learned early on that nothing on Miranda ever goes to waste. She never had a father figure, and her mother was the only person to offer her some form of protection on the backwards planet. During the first years of her life, Kara did not have a name, but was merely referred to as "girl".
When the CIS forces invaded Miranda, Kara was threatened by them. She tried to take the strangers to the carousel in Pandemonium, but only one of them played along. That one, [member="Dianah Vi'Dreya"], ended up following Kara home when she sought safety away from the shooting and the killing, but ended up killing Kara's mother when Kara's mother tried to turn her into food.
Kara thought she would remain alone with the corpse of her mother, which she had already started eating, as she was too young still to know how to preserve meat. But Dianah instead took her along off-planet, and the girl was adopted by both [member="Dianah Vi'Dreya"] and [member="Jaron Lesan"].
They named her Kara, after Jaron's mother.
