Kandi's favorite thing about herself is her alluring nature. Even without the pheromones in play, she has a natural charisma that people seem to feed off of both platonically and not. She's upbeat, optimistic, and outgoing. There isn't a shy bone in the woman's body, and while she of course knows what bubble space is, she doesn't typically care to respect said space unless forcibly made to do so.
The alien woman is also beyond ornery. She enjoys a good practical joke be at her own expense or not, and she enjoys the thrill and adrenaline that comes from a good scare. Kandra is also a listener; she hears things, a lot of the time things that aren't meant for her to hear. By no means does she work as an informant, but that doesn't mean that if someone needed to know something about someone/something else, that she wouldn't know a thing or two about it.
Kandra also has her own best interests at heart. There are those she cares about, and those she will protect until her last breath, but for the most part? If you don't fall into the category of someone close to her, she's only looking out for herself and the things she wants or needs.
Life had always come off as a challenge for Kandra, and not in a depressing, horrible life sort of way. She took each day that she got and strived to make the best of each and every one. The thrill of a challenge had always drawn her in, and so she set out to make her life enjoyable by whatever means. Granted, this didn't always pan out well for her. More than once she had gotten herself into trouble for whatever shenanigans she had gotten into, and therefore got quite a suitable reputation for being a troublemaker. No laws were ever broken, so there was never more than a slap on the wrist, but the neighborhood sure did hate to see her coming.
At least until she came of age and grew from disproportionate adolescence to the womanly shape she has today. Puberty brought a lot of things to light for Kandi; her ability to charm the pants (figuratively for the most part) right off of someone, the pheromones which she absolutely adores about herself, and the addictive charisma she exudes just from waking up in the morning and living her life day to day. She had spent her youth chasing playful challenges and causing childish havoc - well as an adult, it is so much easier to instigate, all things considered about herself.
Again, she does nothing to break any laws, but the extra shot of adrenaline that's created from having to hightail it out of someone's hotel room because their spouse walked in? Or the chaos created due to drawing people in with pheromones while in a club dancing? Oh yeah, she lives for the high that comes with trouble. But she also knows how to dial it back and be responsible when she has to be too - even if she doesn't like it. Kandi is a playful creature by nature, but when life demands a certain level of maturity, she is absolutely capable and will rise to the occasion.
