Description:
Kami’s Suit is a fashionable, protective suit created at the request of Kami Meran for business and other occasions that necessitate a more formal appearance. The suit is made primarily from Heatflex fabric, and includes a sleeveless blouse, long coat, slacks and detached sleeves. Heatflex Fabric is woven from shell spider silk and a warming crystal weave that offers resistance against colder environments. The shell spider silk provides protection from and deflects standard blaster fire and vibroblades, but is not impervious to them. While the suit may save Kami’s life from a fatal shot or stab wound, it does not negate all pain and thus Kami may be left with a bruise or a welt if she is hit. The suit also offers no added defense against lightsabers. Blunt weapons, slugs and sufficient kinetic force will also tear right through the clothing. Any part of the body that is left exposed will be neither protected nor warmed from the effects of the Heatflex fabric. Because of the nature of the Heatflex fabric, it will protect Kami on frigid words such as Ilum and Csilla, but is not recommended for use in very hot environments for fear of overheating. The suit can be worn in most climates, from rigidly cold to temperate, to moderately warm.
