Once a promising young jedi padawan, disaster and tragedy had toppled Kalisha Watu's idealized perception of her jedi masters. Abandoned, left for dead, the discovery of a damaged Sith artifact push the already desperate padawan over the edge into the abyss of the Dark Side.
Renaming her self Kali'ka, she sought the means to exact vengeance on the jedi order, with the artifact's guidance she sought teachers, mentors in the dark arts in order to gain the power she needed. But discouragement with the Sith and other Darkside masters, Kali'ka shook off the yoke of those self-agrandized and self-serving masters to find a place where she could truly forge her own path.
At the present, she is counted among the dark jedi of the Fallen Order.

HISTORY
Kali'ka was born on Kiffu as Kalisha Watu. As a child, she was found to have a rare gift that manifested on occasion among the Kiffar. The ability to acquire knowledge about people and events from objects or places. The Kiffar called it The Echo. An visiting Jedi recuiter found Kalisa and was permitted to take her to Coruscant to study as a padawan. As a youngling, she showed remarkable connection to the Force, as well as a struggle to control her emotions. She was mentored by Taam Moghul, a Cathar Jedi Knight.
By the time she was in her late teens, the mentor/student pair worked together remarkably well, and engaged in many missions, especially during conflicts. It was during one battle that tragedy struck. Fighting against overwhelming odds with their back to seemingly bottomless crevasse, Kalisha was brutally killed and cast off the cliff. Taam, through the chaos, saw it happen. She was lost.
But his padawan was not dead. Kalisha lanquished on a dark broken ledge, grievously wounded, one eye torn out. She strove to heal herself in the Force, her untrained skill just enough to keep her alive. All the while wondering why Taam did not come for her. She half climbed, half fell to the bottom of this treacherous gorge, where she uncovered a trinket. Unknown to her, it was a lost Sith Amulet. While damaged, it possessed enough dark power to begin influencing its new owner. As time passed, the feelings of sorrow and betrayal became deep anger and discontent, making her even more vulnerable to the Dark Side, until she fell. The amulet gave her power, though its damaged state required great concentration and effort on Kalisha's part to extract its secrets.
Guided by the amulet, Kalisha found sanctuaries of Sith resources. She learned to read ancient Sith, aiding in the fallen Jedi's relentless study of the Dark Side. She remade herself as Kali'ka, and found continued to absorb anything she could on Sith sorcery. Kali'ka grew in her own power, and the more power she attained, the more she wanted. But Kali'ka knew she had reached a plateau on her own. She needed others. Having learned under several mentors, Kali has became a powerful and deadly force, bent on opposing the Jedi.
She followed the Sith, studied under Sith masters. But their doctrines frustrated Kali'ka. The constant vying for power, for favor, to make an name for one's self. She had been abandoned by one Order, she was not going to sell herself to another.
The Fallen Order had potential for her to forge her own way. Turning from her sorcerous studies, Kali'ka returned to hone the skills in mastering the Force and physical prowess, as she once did as a jedi, but this time, with the true source of power, the Dark Side.

APPEARANCE
Kali'ka is not imposing in size or stature, but her body is lean and athletic with a modicum of feminine curves. Tattoos cover her bronze skin, the most prominent are on her face, signifying her specific Kiffar tribe. Kali's hair is raven black, long and straight, and is rarely confined. One eye is a deep mahogany. The other is cybernetic and glows eerily, a scar remains from the loss of the original. Kali's features are expressive and can range from a mischievous smirk to a menacing sneer. Kali prefers black leather garments.

Confident, cavalier and wicked, Kali'ka is pragmatic and lacks the cryptic and arrogant demeanor of many Darksiders. She also can be temperamental and unpredictable.
STRENGTHS & WEAKNESSES
STRENGTHS
The Force is Strong in This One: Kali's strong natural connection to the Force, originally fostered by the Jedi, is growing more powerful as she sits under the teaching of her mistress. One particularly powerful ability she possesses is inherent in rare Kiffar children, the power of psychometry.
Witchy Byotch: With the aid of a Sith Amulet, Kali'ka has learned Sith sorcery and can tap into ancient spells and incantations. She specializes in abilities that give her stealth and striking power.
Got Fightin' Skills: Kali has trained intentionally in close combat. With a grudge against the Jedi, she has honed her fighting skills with special focus on overcoming Jedi defense techniques.
WEAKNESSES
Unhinged: Kali does not share the hot ambitions for power and control that many Sith have, other than growing in her magic. Her motives are fleeting and fickle and lead to unpredictable behavior.
Struggles with Focus: Kali continues to work to grow her ability to tap into Darker things, where she can truly expand her powers.
