Developed in secret at Aurora Industries' Nar Shaddaa facility for their Project TITAN, the AIXCX-02 "Eos" Ocular Implant is designed to be on the cutting edge of ocular cybernetics. The Eos Implant is constructed from a combination of desh-terenthium and agrinium for a lightweight design, along with an outer casing of biofiber that also acts as the connection to a subject's optic nerve. Within the device itself, micro-circuitry designed by Aurora's Anomids have given the device several features.
First and foremost, the Eos Implant is installed with multiple vision modes and helpful visual programs. Such programs/modes include normal vision, infrared, night vision, enhanced zoom up to sixteen times, telemetry analysis programs for real-time calibration of projectiles, and a lifeform scanner keyed to detect body heat and heartbeats. A light filter was also added in to protect against extreme sources of light such as a flashbang or explosion. The Eos Implant also comes with an advanced HUD for the user, being able to be turned on and off with a simple voice command.
The Anomid engineers for Aurora also designed the Eos to connect with both a user's comlink, for visual transcripts of a conversation, and the Holonet or secure database of the user's choice. To wrap it all up, the Eos Implant also provides high definition visual clarity and color.
However, the Eos Implant is only useable if the subject has been implanted with an AIXCX-01 "Hyperion" Power Cell.
