While Kalia has an outgoing, friendly personality she doesn't allow any too close to her. She has friends however she keeps them at a distance always afraid that if she were to get to close something would happen to them. Everyone she has ever loved always seems to leave her. In order to keep herself from heart break she keeps closed off and is a private woman.
Kalia can be thought of as an overachiever. She is always doing much more than what is expected of her and barely takes the time for herself to stop and smell the roses from time to time.
She is good at problem solving and negotiating coming up with solutions to some of the orders most difficult questions. She is able to come up with something that pleases everyone involved.
What makes Kalia a wonderful teacher is that she is very patient with others. She will work with them until they do get it and understand what it is they are doing. It doesn't matter if it takes a day or a year.

BIOGRAPHY:
Kalia was born on Corellia as the only girl in the family. She has a twin brother, Corbin, and a younger brother Kamon. Corbin, whom happened to be a few minutes older than her, was always picking on their younger brother. Trying to keep the peace Kalia would intervene and pull one off of the other. She tried to reason with them to get them to stop fighting which in a way made her the mediator of the family. She really just wanted them to all get along as she really loved her brothers.
After being pushed out of the house by Kamon after much protesting Kalia grabbed her twins hand and ran. She didn't want to leave him behind but at the time it seemed there was no other option and she vowed to herself she would find him again.
It wasn't long before the two were picked up by smugglers. The twins were lucky that these smugglers seemed to be alright as they took them in for awhile as they were not sure what else to do with these kids. They couldn't just leave them. It was there Kalia learned there was something different about her but she tried to suppress it. She wanted to stay with Zak and his crew which was how and why she learned the mechanics of a ship. She wished to help out around more now that she was getting older. Never did she forget about finding Kamon.
Just when everything was going better for the twins tragedy struck again when the ship they stayed on was captured by some thugs or at least they looked like thugs. They didn't just take cargo that night but her brother as well. She never learned the reason why.
Literally the day after her 21st birthday Kalia found herself at the steps of the Jedi Temple on Naboo. She begged Zak to let her stay but he explained this was the best place for her. In an odd way she knew it was just the place for her and where she belonged. Kalia vowed to make him proud along with the rest of her family where ever they may be.
Over the next years Kalia learned the ways of the Force through Master Ysid. He was kind hearted but pushed her to be her very best. She didn't need much of that as Kalia proved to be a good student and followed all the rules. In any spare time she was given she could be found in the archive reading or researching more about her family which was still missing. As frustrating as it was she would never give up. She had to be patient as in time she would find them.
A week after joining the Jedi Kalia met a cute Navy officer, John, in a place she didn't have the clearance to be in. He was modifying his starship at the time which he did not have permission to do. The two got to talking and ended up having dinner together later after she helped him finish up. The two have been together ever since.
It hasn't always been easy for them as they led very different lives and often were apart from each other for months at a time. He would be coming back from an assignment while she would just be leaving or viceaverse. There was a lot of stealing kisses in the hallway when nobody was looking. In order to help combat this they often wrote each other and called when they got the chance. Kalia would even send him care packages of her baked goods.
Once she was granted the rank of Knight Kalia was free to go on missions alone. She found it weird at first not to be under the guidenes of someone but soon found she liked her freedom. It gave her more flexabilty to see more of John. She even ended up as a healer on his ship for a little bit. She enjoyed it but really there wasn't much to do just a cut here and there. Being a Knight allowed her to train Padwans of her very own which she found that she loved to do. It was rewarding to share her knowledge and abilities with someone so eager to learn. As her Master had been she was kindhearted, patient but strict as well. She expected a lot from her students as she could see their potential. It was amazing to her to watch them grow throughout their time together. Oh the dangerous and sometimes fun missions they would go on she would cherish those memories.
In-between going on missions, training Padawans and spending time with John. She enjoyed learning. Kalia was always up for learning advanced abilities in order to better herself as a Jedi. The more she knew the better she could help those in need. She would seek out Masters to learn these new abilities and when that didn't pan out she searched for what she wanted to learn through holobooks.
It wasn't long after that she was granted rank of Master by the Council for her service to not only them but the the Republic. Kalia had grown to be a woman others felt comfortable enough around to go to with questions or just to talk. If there was a problem Kalia was a go to person for most of the order. If she didn't know the answer she would help you look for it. When there were arguments within the order Kalia would play mediator from time to time to get everyone to see the bigger picture.
