Kaleb Sunwalker is a Jedi Knight of the New Jedi Order grown overconfident in his abilities. In his arrogance he believes himself above the lure of the Dark Side. His desire to become the greatest Jedi to overcome the Dark Side puts him in the sights of Darth Solipsis and his emerging Dark Empire.

HISTORY
Kaleb Sunwalker was born on Coruscant in 877 ABY to parents within the Galactic Alliance that worked closely with the New Jedi Order. His parents had managed to survive the onslaught that was the Second Great Hyperspace War, only to spend much of their time learning about the darker mysteries of the Force. Often traveling around the galaxy with Jedi in order to secure Sith artifacts, or even religious items that had belonged to the Brotherhood of the Maw in order to safely store it in the Jedi Archives Bogan Collection. Kalbeb would often show a fascination with ancient artifacts of Jedi and Sith, often accompanying his parents on the travels from the Core Worlds to beyond the Outer Rim. From an early age would Kaleb show his strong connection to the Force.
Under the suggestion of the Jedi Council would Kaleb be sent away to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. Kaleb would most of his childhood away from his parents, brought up among many like him in the Jedi Temple. As all younglings would Kaleb work to master his connection to the Force. Eventually reaching the rank of Padawan with many Knights and Masters apprehensive at first about the young boy. Eventually would Kaleb be taken in as an apprentice by a Jedi Master known as Barrick Eldara a strict yet firm Wookkiee that had survived several wars against the dark side. He was firm, yet shared a strong bond as the master and apprentice grew. Often finding the best time as they spared against each other lightsabers in hand. Years had passed where Master Eldara and his Padawan would journey beyond the Core seeking out remnants of the Dark Side that still proved a threat in the wrong hands.
During one mission out in Wild Space where Kaleb would encounter the dark side through a mysterious Holocron that would whisper to him. They would transport the Holocron back to the Jedi Temple's Bogan Collection, but Kaleb's curiousity would get the better of him. The more artifacts they found and collected, Kaleb would grow increasingly arrogant. Believing that his time collecting the secrets of the dark side had made him above it's temptations, would Kaleb plot to seek out the darkness. The Masters often warned him of the dangers of the dark side, but that one encounter with a strange Holocron had ignited a dark fascination unlike any other.
Kaleb seeks to prove that he could walk with one foot in the light, and the other in the dark without fear of the latter. His mind consumed with thoughts of the strange Holocron. He now seeks to put his theories to the test, and prove to all the Jedi that he is better than all of them. Unknown to Kaleb was the call of the Holocron too great, it's whispers threatening to unleash an evil that would shatter the New Jedi Order's fragile peace to sunders.

PERSONALITY
Kaleb is often headstrong, confident, stubborn, and like all Jedi he is very arrogant. Once as a boy he was often regarded as a loner to his peers, overtime as a Padawan would he develop a strong bond with Wookiee Jedi Master Barrick Eldara, this bond would often show how strong attachments that Kaleb could easily make to others. He is loyal to his comrades, and cares deeply about his friends to a fault. Over the years he had quickly grown overconfident, believing himself to be above his Jedi peers in everyway. As he continued to grow would be a dark fascination with the secrets of the dark side. His hubris often overpowering his cautious nature, as he felt overtime immune to the effects of the Dark Side's pull from years of gathering Sith Artifacts. This fascination mixed in with his arrogance will prove to be a deadly combination.
Kaleb has shown a fondness for battle, spending much of his training within the dueling rooms of the Jedi Temple. He was often regarded as a child prodigy when it came to lightsaber dueling. His skills grew that he started to resent his peers, he hated how he could easily go on the offensive only to be scolded for being too aggressive. Ever since the strange encounter with the Sith Holocron would he feel a voice speak to him. The voice would call for him every night encouraging his fascination with the dark side. Slowly he has begun to feed into his darker tendencies through aggressive dueling, or in the search for forbidden secrets. Slowly the arrogant Jedi Knight would find himself stumbling deeper into the dark abyss.
STRENGTHS & WEAKNESSES

Dueling Prodigy: From a young age, Kaleb has shown a procilvity for Lightsaber dueling, often regarding it as a favorite past time, and sport of his. He would often challenge his fellow Padawans, and boldly even the most experienced duelists only to further test his mettle.
Artifact Hunter: As a Jedi Wayseeker along with his Jedi Master, Kaleb had spent much of his early training seeking out dark side knowledge, developing a knack to seek out any remnants of the dark side.
Knowledge is Power: Kaleb's analytical mind for everything regarding the Force has made him eager to consume everything he could.
Hubris: Despite the hungry analytical nature of Kaleb, he thinks that he can simply overcome the dangers of the Dark Side. This has made him more careless in regards to studying dark side artifacts, making him a risk for corruption.
Hot Temper: With his growing fascination with the dark side, and his perceived weakness of his Jedi peers. Kaleb is often very quick to anger at times, promoting situations either better or worse depending on his temper.
Overwhelming Numbers: Despite his excellent skills as a duelist, even his overconfidence is no match against numerous foes against him.
Denial: Despite the good intentions, and his arrogance in thinking he could conquer the Dark Side. Kaleb deludes himself into thinking he is the best Jedi even when he commits acts of evil.

SKILL PROFILE / OTHER SKILLS & ABILITIES
Kaleb's primary skills are as a duelist, and prodigy in Lightsaber combat. Among other skills he has is skills in Telekinesis, and Mind Probe. Akin to Force Stun he is excellent in Force Stasis and to rip information from the mind itself. He is somewhat skilled in Force Barriers. He is also a capable pilot and researcher, with most of his expertise is in the Lightsaber.

Into the Dark
Kaleb cannot ignore the mysterious call of the Stygian Codex. Believing the time has come to finally show the foolishness of the Masters. Time to show all the New Jedi Order that Sunwalker could conquer the Dark Side and remain himself. Little does he know that the abyss will consume him.
