STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:

(+) Natural Warrior - Kale's Rattataki heritage gives him an edge in combat, as the heat of battle is where Kale feels truly at home.
(+) Quick Learner - Adopting new ideas and concepts is simple for Kale, who learns at a quicker rate than others.
(+) Fit - Growing up on Rattatak requires levels of extreme physical conditioning. Those who can't keep up for as long, die.

(-) Force Incompetent - Kale struggles to manipulate the force in any way besides bodily amplification and basic telekinesis.
(-) Technophobe - A hatred of technology, alongside growing up without it, means Kale is ignorant as to how most of the technological marvels in the galaxy function.

APPEARANCE:

Kale is an impressive physical specimen. He stands at an imposing 198 centimeters and weighs in at 90 kgs, making his frame a solid one indeed. Despite an intimidating silhouette, his facial features are rather boyish thanks to his relatively young age. This is off set by the markings of Kale's red war paint, a reminder of his origins on Rattatak.

His mannerisms are slow yet pronounced, a sign of constant alertness and a preparedness for action. This is likely due to growing up in an environment where the threat of being killed lurked around every corner.

Besides his red warpaint, the only other truly distinguishable mark Kale possesses are his yellow eyes, an oddity amongst the Jedi. This is just his natural iris colour, yet explaining this countless times to his fellow Jedi still hasn't quelled the suspicion.

BIOGRAPHY:

Born to one of the many warring clans on Rattatak, Kale grew up fighting. The day he could walk, he was given a miniature war axe and taught how to swing it. The day he could talk, he was lectured on the many methods available to annihilate another living being. The day his voice broke, he was whisked away and forced to battle, killing his first man by the age of thirteen.

Despite the savagery, the brutality, Kale absolutely loved it. He couldn't get enough of combat - not just because his clan depended on it or because it was in his best interests to fight, but because it was in his blood. That said, Kale always fought first for the protection of his clan, rather than to murder others. Most of his clansmen felt the same way, and would lay down their arms in peace should the opportunity arise.

But it never did and likely never would.

Their clan was situated on a huge hill, on top of which the ruins of some long forgotten Sith outpost sat. This may have corrupted the clan, had the outpost not been military in nature. It made a good, defensible, position, which is why the clan had moved there millennia ago and fortified it even further throughout the years.

The outpost eventually garnered attention from outside sources, sources which came in spaceships and carried lightsabers. Not Sith, though, no, these were Jedi. Kale was in awe. They were friendly enough to chat, with Kale asking question after question, learning more and more about the ancient order.

When the Jedi had enough with searching the ancient Sith outpost, they decided to leave. Not before inviting Kale to go with them, however. He was eighteen at the time, the urge to adventure nearly overwhelming. He sought the approval of the clan chief, who blessed him in their god of war's name, then joined the Jedi in their ship.

A few days later and he was at the Jedi Academy, learning about the force.
