SUMMARY
Zygerria.
A long disputed world, handed from one empire to the next for many centuries. And it happened again since Kalah's birth. But for that, we have to start at the beginning.
She was born just a few years after the Ashlan Crusade took possession of the world. She knew no different, but her parents remember a time when the Sith ruled the planet and the way they spoke, neither empire did very well for Zygerria's economy. But they persevered under Ashlan rule, nonetheless. Though they did not bow to the theology of Ashla, being what some would consider to be old-fashioned Zygerrians.
But Kalah grew up well enough, nonetheless, especially taking an interest in stellar navigations and discoveries from the moment she started reading as a kitten. The moment she was old enough to do so, she started striving for the stars, enlisting in the Flying Academy on the planet, even during the Crusade's decline.
She was one of the best students the Academy had offered in a long time and she ended up serving under Isla Draelix until the civil war that broke out within the Crusade, tearing it apart. During this, she had retreated back to her homeworld, wanting to protect it with the few ships that remained loyal to her.
It was in her return, that she noticed things have changed - for the better this time. A man known as Tywyll Lew had built up her homeworld and declared himself Emperor, though not in an oppressive way. On the contrary, things have improved for the better. It was in seeing this, that Kalah finally felt that bending the knee would mean serving with pride.
It was in her stalwart barricade and patrol of the Zygerrian system, that Kalah was able to start a new and better chapter in her life...
...as Council Member and Grand Admiral of the Imperial Order and its fleet.
