Kal is described as a tall male within his early thirties who sports a disheveled appearance that is well built and stocky. He may smell or appear grubby due to not caring much about hygiene and his eyes are a bright azure.

Kal during his youth would often accompany his father who was a smuggler and the two overtime developed a father and son partnership. The mother abandoned ship before he could even remember to walk so for the longest time all Kal had was his father and they provided for each other. One of the perks of their line of work was that they were always roaming the galaxy and seeing what it had to offer so when he decided to step away at the age of nineteen that practically tore through a already crumbling relationship he had with his old man. At the time Kal had no regrets since he had seen it all and was simply trying to find a greater purpose.
He spent the next couple of years back on his home planet of Corellia as a Weaponsmith where he eventually joined the armed forces when the recruitment officers came forward looking for more potential candidates, specifically for a tactical response team. There was nothing honorable or a ulterior motive behind it, only the simple fact to find thrill in it all however he found serving under the armed forces in Corellia with a sense of clarity to his life that hadn't felt since he had been a child so when he finally left, Kal searched on for further pastures until coming across the alliance where he continued to train for the next few years as a pathfinder.
Like many other freedom fighters it didn't take Kal long to find a home within the Alliance. Tyranny and fear was never his way of ruling the galaxy so ideally he found a common goal to serve under the forces opposing the darkness. Someday out of all this bloodshed, Kal believes that he might find peace and tranquility yet within all this chaos.
