- Description: Massive in size from the tip of its horn to the end of its fin. The kaitomaw is an aaquatic based sithspawn charged with controlling and making dangerous the deepest oceans of Ahch-to with powerful fangs in its mouth and an insatiable hunger. Its eyes burn with a golden fire from the darkside that is infused within it and its has small hollow sacks in its body that allow it to draw in air for brief moments to launch itself out of the water.

- Penetrating Nose: Massive and sharp, the horn that protrudes from its head is a specialized tooth that resonates and it nearly indestructible being infused with the darkside allowing it to pierce hulls of star ships.
- Sithspawn: Massive in its scale and size, the sithspawn was brought to Ahch-To in ancient times to assault the jedi temples and cause chaos across the world.
- Consumables: The massive whales are full of different consumables that can be harvested when they are taken down making for a powerful but rewarding fight.
- Bones: Crystal like in appearance, the bones are jade colored and able to be used in a lightsaber as a focusing crystal.
- Horn: Long and able to penetrate alusteel, the specialized tooth it highly valued by hunters.
- Blubber/Meat: Able to be used for food or melted and boiled down into a form of hyperfuel that is highly valued for enhancing the power of engines.
- Scales: Thick and strong from the deep pressure and reinforced with the darkside. The scales are protected against saber strikes for a time but will after several hits shatter like fireworm scales.
- Biosacks: Constructed during the dark times the whale can project a resonance-absorptive shield that absorbs blaster energy and releases it as a powerful discharge similar to the Shadowfang Beast.
- Hibernation: Something big, the hibernation cycle has become more of a crutch allowing the Kaito to leapfrog through the ages by sleeping in the depths of the ocean and awakening when a strong force presence is on the planet... but it also means when there is not a high amount of force users on the world it becomes sluggish and falls asleep into an almost catatonic state that can last for decades or even hundreds of years.
- Force Creature: Being a sithspawn and evolved over centuries from it the large whales are vulnerable more when around force nullification equipment or artifacts. They can be sensed like a darkside beacon by others and when they are hunted down the hide loses its potency unless alchemically treated to preserve a small amount of the force and saber protection.
- Force Light: As a sithspawn one of the biggest fears and weaknesses is force light.. it can be dangerous to be around even though the powerful display of force energy is like a beacon to attract the whale towards

- Religion/Beliefs: Regarded as a sea monster on Ahch-To, the keepers avoid the deep waters where they dwell and tell tales of the near mythic creatures that were brought to the world to fight the jedi at the temple. Hunting for them have sprung up over the years usually when they stir in the waters and their oil is prized for its potency in making fires or acting as a fuel for star ships.
- General behavior: An apex predator that swims in the deep oceans of Ahch-To and is attracted to large concentrations of force energy. it feeds off of other sea creatures and schools of fish. WIth the keepers who fish and venture on boats into the deeper areas of the ocean it can be hostile when awake but rarely comes up from the depths unless there is a massive force signature that can attract it. Years of being hunted by whalers. When they encounter a force user who attracts them and brings them out of hibernation they can be relentless hunting and chasing them across the planet.
Created thousands of years before the rise of the first order by the sith to attack worlds. The Kaito were massive in size and meant to become something to destroy water worlds and decimate planets that rely on fish for food or trade. They were small but would grow and as wars against the jedi raged on they could present a looming threat they would have to engage in their great hunts for sithspawn across the galaxy. Several dozen were brought to the first jedi temple. To attack and keep the jedi on the world so that they couldn't travel between the temples several sithspawn were released to impede and attack.
Then the wars came to an end and years of peace as it were came as the jedi left the world and the keepers at the time reset the island temple. So they went to sleep and from time to time over the centuries that followed would awaken when large concentrations of force users would come to the world. Being able to eat many of the fish in the ocean it served other purposes as well like over population of the fish as well as some of the larger natural predators of the planet. The Kaito have been researched by the jedi but not wiped out as several sleep around the planet and outside of actively hunting them down they can be in hibernation traces deep under the oceans.
When the jedi came back to the world though and established a larger presence on the planet the kaito awakened and the eternal empire under
Ingrid L'lerim
came attracting the creatures to awaken and hunt in the waters going after stragglers and even stabbing at ships that got to close to the surface of the water itself in a massive attack of its horn and tail fin.
