Intent: To create an armor set for [member="Kaili Talith"]
Development Thread:
Manufacturer: Micah
Model: Kaili’s armor
Affiliation: Micah Talith | Kaili
Modularity: Yes ( extra goodies are interchangable.)
Production: Unique
Material: Alchemized and Force Imbued Terentatek leather, Alchemized Tikulini leather, VT-Kinetic Impact Gel , Holographic Disguise Matrix, BA-830 Browncoat Utility Belt, a AI-Wrist Blaster ( left hand), AS Smartband ( left wrist), light glove shield (right glove Palm Light-Shield Emitter and Backhand Light-Shield Emitter), Plastiray - Substance.
Classification: Leather armor with VT-Kinetic Impact Gel underliner.
Weight: 6kg
Quality: Class 9

Special Features:

  • Leather baby! - The alchemized armor has a reduced efficacy to being manipulated, interfered with, or destroyed by the Force due to the Force negating effects of the alchemized Terentatek leather. It features a clippable high neck leather protective strip against those pesky force chokes. The alchemized Tikulini leather was set over the more critical parts of the body, and fully lightsaber resistant.

  • Hide and Seek! - The alchemized leather has been imbued with the Force using Jal Shey techniques to protect the wearer from being discerned through the Force through Force Scattering. It does this by imprinting the wearer's presence in the Force across a specific area, making it very difficult for another Force user to discern their exact location.

  • Extra goodies: Holographic Disguise Matrix, BA-830 Browncoat Utility Belt, a AI-Wrist Blaster ( left hand), AS Smartband ( left wrist), light glove shield (right glove Palm Light-Shield Emitter and Backhand Light-Shield Emitter), Plastiray - Substance in all items with respective benefits.

  • Kinetic protection: VT-Kinetic Impact Gel provides a highly kinetic Resistant Underarmor with all applicable benefits.

  • Help line!: In light of the above quality, Micah brushed the armor with Alchemized bloodtrail ink. This was designed as a way for Micah to find Kaili if she was ever in trouble.
Weaknesses

  • Tererentak Leather makes it difficult to heal the body while wearing it. Armor must removed off the wounded area in order to be healed with the Force.

  • As it is supernaturally tough, Terentatek leather will not break due to blunt or concussive forces. Blasters and Slugthrowers may pierce the material and the leather parts afford only light resistance to lightsabers, such as glancing blows.
Micah comes from a family legacy that has a vast wealth of information and knowledge in sith alchemy. His grandfather Moridin, his father, his uncle Dissero, and the women of the Shamalain line are all powerful in their own rights when it comes to artifacts and their creation. Fully intent and on his way to becoming a Master Alchemist and Jal Shey imbuing specialist, Micah would continue to utilize and consult the immense library of information from his father and the aid of his Uncle Dissero who himself is a Master Alchemist.

This gives him an incredible wealth of knowledge from both his Great Uncle Dissero, the journals of his grandfather (the ones his father and uncle would even let him review and highly supervised) and the knowledge given to him by his father, Soliael Devin Talith that he had acquired his entire lifetime. Micah's spent much of his time studying with his Uncle Dissero, his father, and during the times he would visit the Jedi with his mother, studied lightside alchemy classes and Jal Shey Force imbuing techniques, growing in his skill for the past several years with many alchemical and Force imbued creations under his belt.

The following creation was now for his youngest sister Nohei. The Mechu Deru Technopath needed the full extent of her senses, so he decided to forgo the Taozin nodule leather he typically used and instead focused on making sure she could have some force resistance and survive concussive blows. Not to mention, help her keep calm.

He would use Terentatek leather to begin. The first week was spent on curing, stretching, tanning, sizing and cutting the Terentatek leather liner to Kaili's exact specifications. The alchemization with drops of the his sister’s blood came after, ensuring that the pliant leather alchemy amplifies the terentatek innate Force-resistant properties. The alchemization and the Force imbuement served to enhance, strengthen, and ensure that the leather would retain its properties as it did in life.

As certified by AEL's Alchemist Certification Serviceshttp://starwarsrp.net/topic/64160-alchemist-certification-services/ with a Dorn rating ( Certified as fully competent with the mastercraft level of biological and/or metallurgical alchemy.) the alchemization process managed to ensure that Kaili’s internal organs are off-limits to Force influence, retains moderate resistance to Force lightning, and bone-breaking telekinetic impacts are significantly lessened. And more importantly, the button up marine style neck is high enough to keep Force chokes from being effective. However, this also makes using the Force to heal over the armor difficult.

However, instead of using a different type of liner, Micah opted for the VT-Impact Gel. He knew that Nohei had a tendency of breaking bones and hurting herself with blunt force trauma. Instead of using a Taozin liner, this impact gel would help lesson kinetic impacts upon the younger Talith. The gel also has an interesting effect on electricity. Due to the nature of the gel, the bodysuit liner can only take one hit in a certain area before becoming useless. The gel after hardening becomes fractured and broken, leaving it unable to take another hit in the same way. The force of the blow determines just how much of the gel had to solidify to absorb the damage. Though the gel doesn't harden when introduced to electric shock, it does have a tendency to absorb and dispel it due to its odd jello like properties. This effect of course transfers to all forms of electricity, including the famed force lightning and electric judgement used by Sith and Jedi. A highly resistant kinetic armor, it would line under the alchemized leather with a snug fit.

The next step required the Imbuing of the alchemized Tikulini leather, which took another week. He knew that his sister wasn’t the most subtle of creatures. The armor has been permanently imbued by the Force using Jal Shey techniques to protect the wearer from being discerned through the Force. Much like the Warden Cloaks and his Helm, he did the same here with the armor, imbuing the it to mimic the Force ability known as Force Scattering. The armor has been permanently imbued by the Force using Jal Shey techniques to protect the wearer from being discerned through the Force. It does this by imprint their presence in the Force across a specific area, making it very difficult for another Force user to discern the wearer’s exact location by imprinting the wearer’s presence across a specific area. The alchemized Tikulini leather was set over the more critical parts of the body, and fully lightsaber resistant.

Much like Aela’s light shield gove, Micah decided to give her a simple terentatek leather version of it. Built into the right glove, however, are the mechanisms for a Light-shield, intrinsically and meticulously placed into the glove itself. The unique feature of the glove is that the Light-Shield mechanism has more than one emitter. These emitters are activated by the motion of her fingers, only one being able to activate at a time. These emitters are placed on the back of her hand and within her palm, meaning she can project a flat, disc light-shield blade on either side of her hand. The disc itself could not grow bigger than .3 meters and was always just that, a disc. It holds the same properties as any light-shield, and thus any lightsaber...except its a disc.

To complete it, Micah added a Holographic Disguise Matrixhttp://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Holographic_disguise_matrix, BA-830 Browncoat Utility Belt, a AI-Wrist Blaster ( left hand), AS Smartband ( left wrist). All of these components to include the lightshield have been coated with Plastiray and aren't disrupted easily by EMP/ Ion weapons as per the benefits of Plastiray - Substance. All in all, it was an armor suit designed to maintain a relatively light weight as much as possible with flexibility for reasonable dexterity.

I would like to know what can change on the suit? There is a lot going on here with all of the gear, and the added features. I can only assume that the "Extra goodies" portion can be replaced with something else. However, I would rather not assume.

Kinetic protection: VT-Kinetic Impact Gel provides a highly kinetic Resistant Underarmor.
Can you mention that due to the properties of the impact gel, that it will only work once in the area that the wearer was hit. From the link provided, it states "the bodysuit can only take one hit in a certain area before becoming useless."

Weight: 4kg
I would like you to raise the weight to 6kgs. Here is why.
  1. You are making a complete body suit of armor meant to protect someone from, almost every kind of force power, and almost every kind of impact ranging from a punch, to a grenade. Unlike the Cater coat that was linked before, is just that. An overcoat that does not completely cover the body, and protects only from force abilities. As well, Cira's armor you linked will have the same weight, only this suit has more to it than meets the eye.
  2. Along with the first mention of this, the armors you have linked, are just alchemized leather. This one has an extra layer of kinetic gel. Gel carries weight as well.
  3. I am assuming the weight you have for the armor, is just the suit itself. Not all the gear listed in the goodies section. If it was the total weight of all of this, then the 1.1 kg belt's weight should be added as well.
  4. I, personally, do not like the idea of someone having armor that weighs barely more than a high school student's book bag, that can protect from a very wide array of abilities, and weapons.
Other wise, I have one question. Why are you linking items for this armor, when it has no connection to this armor IC, or in Chaos Lore? I can see some like the Cater Coat, and Cira's armor as references, but why link armor for Sev3n, who was long gone before these characters even met each other?

Edited to specify the extra goodies.

Added the following straight from the sub.

Changed it to 6kg

Looooooooool. That extra link must have been accidentally added in my link hunting. Removed it.
