STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES​

Weakness - Primitive - As a Nenetian, Kafra comes from a Mesolithic Age. Her ability to use the technologies of the wider galaxy is vastly limited, and may always be.

Weakness - Honest - Like many other people of primitive worlds, Kafra is simple, unembellished, and unsophisticated. In her time away from her homeworld she has seen the differences between her and the average space-faring being. She doesn’t like these differences and has no intentions of tailoring her behaviors to match even the smallest deceits so common in the rest of the galaxy.

Strength - Vibrational Sensor - Being of the desert tribes of Nenet, Kafra is able to sense vibrations through her feet. Undoubtedly a gift of evolution to the desert tribes in their struggle against the tunneling worms of Nenet.

Strength - Animal Kinship - On Nenet force sensitivity is often manifested or noticed through the taming of beasts. Kafra is no exception and was recognized as one of the most adept in the desert at this practice. She has soothed, aided, and defended against many a beast through her use of the force, however instinctual it had been.

APPEARANCE​

Kafra has a winsome and angelic appearance. Her face walks a delicate balance between subtle and severe. Where other women would use makeup Kafra has had her face subtly tattooed to mimic the idea and in adhering to her tribe’s customs has tattooed several markings on her body, markings for lineage, stories, and deeds. Strong but subtle black tattoos travel much of her torso, and legs. The skin of her face, arms, and that which would peek through the gaps of her tattoos shines as if years under the desert sun had blessed her. She is oftentimes painted with intensity and purpose. A wild grace follows her being. She is memorable. The kind of woman an interested party would be hard pressed to forget.

After more than ten years away from her homeworld, Kafra still holds onto the fashion of her tribe. It comes in the form of a stylish two piece garment, a halter and shin length slit skirt, shared by both men and women. The halter is decorated, adorned with precious gems, beads, tunneling worm teeth, and in Kafra’s case blue shamanic trinkets. The garments themselves are made of thick raw leather hides. Despite adornments the look is simple and worn for function and freedom, not beauty. The garment leaves no leather for shoes as the Nenetians of Kafra’s tribe often travel barefoot in effort of fully sensing vibration with their feet. In desert storms or colder environments Kafra will don a simple, insulated, hooded robe to protect herself from the elements.

BIOGRAPHY​

Kafra U’na was born to one of the many nomadic desert tribes of the planet Nenet. Being nomadic, the Worm-Slayer tribe was her home. She grew up with many mothers and fathers as all children of the tribe were raised communally. No set of parents more special than the other except by the extent of their deeds and abilities. However one who would set themselves apart from the rest was the tribe’s shaman, a gifted animal handler, often aided by the power of the force.

Kafra from an early age exhibited signs of being like the shaman. Her gifts were cultivated alongside few others and as she grew Kafra was recognized for her potential. Not only was she able to soothe savage beasts but she was also physically gifted. She could run faster, jump higher, and strike down enemies and beasts with more strength than many of her tribe. She survived being swallowed whole by a desert worm by cutting a way out of its belly. Earning the name and black tattoo marking of a “Belly-Cutter.” Kafra’s instinctual and unknowing use of the force had drawn to her a Jedi Knight of the Silver Jedi Concord.

His name was Illen Selene, a Pau’an of Utupau. He introduced himself to the adolescent Kafra who was a budding Shaman having taken over for the late Shaman Nagu. After some observation Illen told Kafra of the force and how her gifts had come about because of it, and how he felt her presence worlds over through it. It took some time and convincing but he talked to Kafra and the tribe, and convinced her to come with him into the stars, to train as a Jedi Knight in service to the wider galaxy.

Kafra’s journey with Master Selene had taken her all over the galaxy. She spent years of her life overwhelmed, frustrated, shocked and in awe of sights her primitive mind wasn’t ready to see, but her training helped her adjust. She shifted her mindset and learned what she could of her new reality, but not without great struggle. That great struggle also came with great success as Kafra had completed her years of training and went from Kafra U’na, Jedi Padawan to Kafra U’na, Silver Jedi Knight.

Once Kafra’s training was complete, Master Selene told her to travel the cosmos, learn of the mysteries of the force, and to pass on their teachings to a few students of her own. With those last instructions Kafra watched as her master set off to explore wild space. Then she set off on her own journey, traveling, uncovering mysteries, and passing on her knowledge just as her master had said. It’s been years since she and her master separated and she’s still searching the galaxy in search of what will come to her next.
