STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:
- Small Size, Kaete is short, and not especially powerful. Aside from the obvious physical downsides, She's also quite sensitive about this.
- Self Conscious, Despite her nature, Kaete is very self conscious about her appearance, and behaviour. She's fairly easy to influence do to this, as she cares quite a bit how others think of her.
- Misguided Rebel, In order to 'fit in', Kaete believes that she must play things cool, and fight back against whatever authority she's under. She likes to play herself off as confident and powerful, when she's really anything but.
- Rogue, Neither a Schemer nor a Fighter, Kaete doesn't exactly fit in well in many teams. Arguably lacking in uses, her claims to any kind of power are backed up only by the barest skills of the force, and possession of a Lightsaber.
- Pride, Getting by on bluster and bravado, Kaete has few useful skills, and an over-inflated sense of self worth. She'll be slow to accept new teachings, and will probably loose out on plenty of chances do to her attitude.
- Not Quite the Scholar, Owing to this rebellion and prideful attitude, Kaete has picked up relatively few skills, either in the force, or with the Lightsaber.
+ Appearance, Kaete might not have the abilities to back it up, but her gaudy appearance and general look usually cover her well enough, when dealing with people not too aware of the Force. She gets by on attempted Intimidation, and on the illusion of power, more than anything.
APPEARANCE:
Kaete is a rather short human female. Of average physique and looks, she's not all that impressive on her own, and her statue might even lead some to dismiss her outright as non-threatening. She makes up for this with elaborately gaudy fashion, and a very cutting attitude.
BIOGRAPHY:
Kaete grew up somewhere in the Middle Rim. She claims not to remember too much about her childhood, but that's do to shame more than anything. She actually grew up in an Upper middle class family. Her father was a Lawyer, and her mother was a stay at home mom, though one with a passion for writing and the arts. Kaete had a wonderful childhood, with a very loving family. She was discovered fairly late in her years, and was actually 11 when she the Jedi negotiated with her family, to allow them to train her. She was extremely excited at first, but that quickly changed.
Once she was at the Academy, she realized she was no prodigy. She was an average combatant with the Saber at best, and her force sensitivity was rather weak. This proved to be quite the let down for her, for she had dreamt of being an ace student, graduating at the top of her class and becoming a shining symbol of what it meant to be Jedi. Instead, she barely managed to remain in the Academy. This was both do to her relative lack of talent, and her growingly rowdy attitude. She would often become infuriated with her lack of progress, and would snap at her instructors, and at other Jedi initiates. She stayed at the Academy for 7 Years, barely managing to become a Padawan, before she gave up.
Fleeing into Sith Space, she conjured up a story about how she was oppressed by the Jedi, her true Potential kept down. She managed to talk a decent game, but within a year or two of her apprenticeship, her Masters were starting to realize the truth...
