  • Personality: Kael is an adventurous and intelligent young boy who has never ventured off Kijimi, only because his family could never afford to. Despite the tragedy that struck as a result of Lord Panshard’s war, the strong-willed Kael hasn’t allowed his emotions to overwhelm him. Initially skeptical of Orenda and her intentions, he has accepted that he must now rely on her to help him find a group who can take him in and help him connect to the Force.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
A human born on a mountainous colony on Kijimi, Kael was the youngest of four children and the most adventurous of his family, who had carefully settled on the planet a few generations before his birth.

Although he was quite young, he was fiercely independent and afraid of almost nothing, not even the carnivorous creatures who hunted in packs during the dark nights that seemed to last forever on Kijimi. Naturally curious, he grew to become an intelligent young boy who spent just as much time studying galactic maps as he did playing pretend outdoors.
However, being that his family was exceptionally poor and focused primarily on survival in the cold mountainous region of the planet, Kael never got the opportunity to venture offworld.

When the boy turned ten, at last his Force powers became evident, when he became lost in the wilderness and suddenly began relying on a strong sense of precognition that led him safely back home. The Force would show up in more small ways during that year, including tracking down a dog-like creature and surviving the encounter without killing it.

Days after he turned eleven, his whole life was changed when a Sith Lord named Lord Panshard launched an atmospheric battle against a rebel base hidden in the mountains. Kael’s home was destroyed and the rest of his family was killed, along with most of his village, while Kael used the Force to lead other survivors out of the mountains.
He was eventually tracked down by the Sith Lord and his silent assistant, a Twi’lek named Orenda, who was dismayed by the destruction she had helped cause.
Brought aboard Panshard’s flagship as a prisoner, Kael was equally surprised when the Twi’lek appeared at his cell door and released him, saying that Lord Panshard had been killed and she had a plan to get them off the ship. Smuggled aboard a rusty transport used to move trash, the boy clung tightly to a Sith holocron while Orenda took the controls to launch them into hyperspace.
