SETTING INFORMATION
The Kadorian Magma Forge is a part of the greater Kadorian hive network that lays within and under Mount Kadorian - as such the forge is extremely difficult to enter as one must first gain access to Mount Kadorian, then to the Hive network before finally being able to reach the forges. If able to penetrate the Mount Kadorian defenses and the Hive Network defenses an attacker would be faced with a dedicated unit of warriors as well as the forgers themselves. The forge is off-limits to any non-graug, excluding slaves handpicked by the forgers.
  • Description:
The Magma forge is a set of twelve walker sized tunnels and seven chambers large enough to house several dozen Graug and their slaves at one time. Each chamber is interconnected by the large tunnels and are filled with large pools of magma that are fed into them through naturally occurring magma shafts or through ultrachrome pipes that feed it in from deeper in the surface. Centered in around this pool of magma are several specifically made Ultrachrome furnaces that Graug forgers use to infuse the magma with darkside energies while also quickly heating or liquifying their working materials.
POINTS OF INTEREST

Armourers Cauldron - This three hundred meter long space lies at the intersection of two of the most active lava tubes in the area. Sacrificing several Folloik Draagha to its creation, The Gruag saw to breaching both lava tunes from above - allowing the magma to fill the lower portion of the chamber. Another set of tunnels were dug to allow the magma to exit back into an active tube to avoid a build up of pressure or a rise in magma level. This essentially creates a continously flowing river of fire.
In preparation for the construction of the cauldron, the Graug built several platforms of solid ultrachrome - topped by a thick layer of durasteel and bedrock. The properties of Ultrachrome allow the heat to be displaced evenly throughout the solid block platforms and thus allow them to sustain the constant heat. The bedrock and durasteel atop the platforms act as a walking space that was protected by Thermal shielding- much like the platforms of Mustafar.
There are eight platforms in total, each equipped with ultrachrome and durasteel smelting equipment. Graug Forgers use the equipment to use the dry heat from magma pumped through shielded tubing to heat materials - or even use the magma itself to quickly heat resistant materials like Ultrachrome. Some techniques require Darkside rituals, such as when the Forgers need to make more armor quickly and will thus purify and bend the properties of the magma to allow the ultrachrome to be directly melted in the magma - which is then filled into molds and worked from there.
The Armourers Cauldron creates the majority of Warrior's Skin for the Zygerria based hordes.
The Death Maker - Similar to the Armoruers Cauldron, the Death Maker utilizes for magma chamber platforms with equipment prioritized for weapon making. Unlike the Cauldron, however, the Death Makers possess two magma-free chambers where the weapons are assembled from forged pieces. Little automation exists behind a few automated presses and assembly droids.
Slugthrowers, blasters and melee weapons and pieces for larger starship guns are made here.

SECURITY
Medium

The security of the forge is primarily provided by its being surrounded by the outer "Kadorian Hive" but once inside once can expect to be met by the fierce resistance of a 500 Graug Warriors and the 200 Graug forgers who work in the forges daily. The Graug are masters of subterranean battle and their knowledge of the tunnels allows them to utilize tactical tunnel collapses or even the flooding of tunnels with magma for defensive purposes.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION

After the Battle of Mount Kadorian and the discovery of the lava tubes beneath the mountain, the Graug quickly set to work building for themselves a facility at which they could arm and armor their hordes on planet. Despite the lack of Ultrachrome on Zygerria, the Graug did not hesitate to begin using the vast amounts of Alum they discovered beneath Zygerria's mesas. Ultrachome that was needed for armoring their hordes was shipped in either from Gratos itself or from their Sith allies.
