PHYSICAL INFORMATION
Age: 3
Model: K-Series Seeker Droidhttp://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Seeker_(droid)
Appearance: K11 looks like any other droids of his model with the exception of a trio of red paint marks on his cranial hub, mirroring the scars on his owner's face. Jester can extend his manipulator arms around sixty centimeters from his thorax module to preform slicing procedures, operate machinery, or repair objects within his reach while hovering. His thorax module contains most of his hardware, with the cranial hub capable of rotating atop the module and adjust the single photoreceptor.

SOCIAL INFORMATION

Name: K-11 | Jester
Loyalties: Leo Coburnhttp://starwarsrp.net/topic/138882-leo-coburn/ | The Resistance
Notable Equipment:
Personal Energy Shieldhttp://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Personal_energy_shield/Legends
Personal Cloaking Devicehttp://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Personal_cloaking_device
Ghostwave Communicatorhttp://starwarsrp.net/topic/121948-ghostwave-communicator/

Skills: K11 is primarily a scouting droid, using his cloaking device to move around unnoticed to survey an area or building, but possesses most of the same programming and equipment as an astromech droid such as a scomplink, fusion cutter, manipulator arms, and the like making him a useful mechanic or technician for hardware and software, though not up to the standard of a true Astromech Droid would be. Sometimes he is able to operate a crew weapon in the starship with some difficulty, on par with what one would expect from a droid controlled turret.

Personality: Jester’s name is the only joke about him. He’s easily the straight-man in the otherwise comedic group he travels with, lacking any semblance of a sense of humor or understanding it, having not been given the chance to develop his own personality until recently. The droid is instead cynical and critical of his compatriots, being incredibly mission motivated, often sitting inert while he doesn’t have tasks to complete unless he feels his presence is necessary to gather or distribute information.

Despite his lacking in personality, K11 is loyal to his owner or compatriot, Leo Coburn, who has had the droid since his time with the Galactic Empire and his restraining bolt has since been removed, with his base programming sliced to jailbreak the droid.

COMBAT INFORMATION
Weapon of Choice: Tiny Fusion cutter and mini Saw-blade
Combat Function: Jester doesn’t have any way to fight on his own, lacking any serious weaponry and armed only with a few basic tools like a saw-blade and micro-fusion cutter. Jester is suited to be a support droid, slicing, repairing, sometimes helping on the ship as a spare gunner when needed. He is capable of projecting a several meter wide energy shield by becoming immobile to protect his crew mates in combat, however he can only sustain this shield for relatively short periods of time. With his personal cloaking device Jester is able to use it to turn invisible and hover behind Leo, following him unnoticed until he is needed.

Strengths:
  • Invisibility: The Droid contains a personal cloaking device, allowing him to turn invisible to escape combat when possible.
Weaknesses:
  • One at a Time: Jester is only able to activate his Shield or his Cloaking Device, not both at once which forces him to be more strategic with those systems.
  • Unarmed: K11 is basically unarmed with no real weapons. He might get lucky in a few situations against the lowest form of opponent, but he’s not really a combatant.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
K11 Seeker is a Seeker Droid that was originally assigned to DT-961, otherwise known as Leo Coburn. Jester was at one point known for his wit, being somewhat sophisticated in his mannerisms compared to his companions. The Seeker was initially fitted with a restraining bolt that made the unit loyal to the Galactic Emperor and its leadership, but during the unit of Death Troopers defection from the forlorn Empire, the droid was deactivated in a simplistic manner while they escaped.

Leo spent most of his exile collecting parts and repairing his old droid companion slowly. During this period he was forced to wipe its memory and rebuild its programming in order to fully erase the Imperial presence within its rootkit, which reverted the droid’s personality to factory standard nothing. The expatriate Death Trooper occasionally feels guilty for lobotomising his former partner, sometimes expecting the droid to react differently because of their history with one another.

Now, though rebuilt and jailbroken of all its previous loyalties and affiliations, backdoors closed, and with frequent backups, Jester is merely an automaton that carries out his tasks with little comment and never quips with the rest of the crew. Given time he may develop his personality programming once more, especially given enough time with the likes of Laira and Rowdy.
