Sugar grinned the wicked sort of grins cats gave mice and devils gave cherubs as he approached the microphone stand. "Good evening, players and pin-ups, kids and cadets," he rasped, smirking. "It's time for the first annual Death Bar Invictus Ceremony. Some of you are here willingly, others not so much, but the rules are simple: Sing for your supper, have a little fun, and play for the night. My band can play most anything you think of," he said, lighting a large death-stick cigar and smirking, "so lay it on us and remember: Have a little fun. You ain't gonna remember this on the outside, after all."
