SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Compound Mail: Jyani’Eirmityr is made to be incredibly light despite the heavy Tal’Beskar the armor is made with. In reality, the plates of the armor are purposefully cut thin to reduce weight (acting only as a strong padding compared to actual armor) and only equipped over the chest, shoulders, legs, and occasionally wrists, meant to protect the most vital spots while leaving areas without as much a need for protection with just the flexible, near-weightless bodysuit made from Blastwebbing with Enviroweave insulation.
  • Emergency Warding: Integrated as apart of the armor is a personal Deflector Shield Generator, meant to ensure protection when being focused on by heavy fire. The armor’s shielding, as opposed to other systems, has no electrical activation key, and instead can only be activated by use of Mechu-deru, in order to remove the need for advanced technological systems that would add more weight to the armor. This, paired with the already excellent anti-energy protection offered by the mundane components, helps make the armor untouchable to blaster weaponry in many situations.
  • Relic Plate: Telis’s armor is made in the way of the Sith armor of old, designed with the same philosophies in mind and forged with heavy, almost obsessive care to detail and perfection. Alongside the expertise in craftsmanship, Jyani’Eirmityr is laced with a large number of Sith enchants to improve overall effectiveness during the creation process, and enchants afterwards to help the armor perform and continue to hold up in combat, such as the ability to regenerate damage to both the plating and the suit by “feasting” on the blood of enemies the same way Telis does (in a metaphorical sense).
  • Environmental Adaptations: Jyani’Eirmityr, while being minimal in technological components, is built to allow Telis to operate in many situations where robes alone wouldn’t cut it. The skinsuit of the armor is reinforced with Enviroweave beneath the Blastwebbing, allowing operation in hostile environments and in extreme cold and heat despite the lightness of the gear. Beyond that, the helmet is equipped with an advanced Rebreather to allow for safe breathing in toxic, low-oxygen, and aquatic environments, though it does not have the proper sealing to prove effective in the void.
  • Vanity (The most important aspect, duh): Truly the only important part about this all. After all, if you don’t look good while you fight, then what do you have to fight for? Jyani’Eirmityr is designed not only to form-fit Telis’s body while keeping modesty and to not interrupt in his movements, but is equipped with a flowing cape made of Polyweave, shifting in appearance as Telis whims it. Additional enchants in the cloak and in the bodysuit itself allow for a bit more aesthetic changes, such as allowing for the appearance of designs or the subtle changing of color. Alongside that, the Tal’Beskar plates, when the enchantment activates that undoes damage, begins to glint more and more red the more bloody Telis is (because menacing red is ALWAYS a must).
STRENGTHS
  • Unimpeding Protection: Jyani’Eirmityr was designed with the goal of offering protection without having to sacrifice mobility or agility. Thanks to the limiting of the metal elements of the armor, the lightness of the suit beneath, the inclusion of Sith enchants, and personal shielding, it’s able to accomplish this goal with surprising capability.
  • Blaster-Proof: Though the armor doesn’t have as much full-body protections as others, the usage of Blastwebbing and personal shields make even shots from personal blasters to unprotected parts of the body magnitudes less lethal and dangerous than they would be. Shots from larger-scale weapons still prove quite dangerous, but in comparison there exists other types of armor that fare much worse.
  • Adaptation at its Finest: Without extensive technological components and heavy systems, Jyani’Eirmityr allows protection in almost any environment that Telis will come across, barring the complete vacuum of space. Thanks to the components of the armor, there is minimum weight in hot and high-gravity regions, superior insulation during cold and low-atmosphere regions, a rebreather enables breathing in most situations, and the cloak is attached with a hood for heavy, possibly acidic rainfall, preventing vision from being marred or armor being ruined by a downpour.
  • Glint of Murder Jyani’Eirmityr is born from the ways of the Sith, and that of course means that it is laced and reinforced with a plethora of enchants. The main enchant of the armor is that of its “vampiric” quality. The armor exhumes an aura that is easily identifiable as Sith magic, causing the shed blood of Telis’s nearby enemies to repair any damage they’ve caused to the armor. This effect only works in the immediate area and ONLY on spilt blood, so it won’t drain open wounds or work any farther than a yard.
  • Evolution: Though Telis has treated the creation of this armor as though he was creating an artifact, many components of the armor can be altered, and new technological components can be applied with ease. This ensures that, despite the philosophies drenched in the old ways, new discoveries, improvements, and enchantments can be made to make sure the armor stays competitive compared to new armor that is invented. Paired with Telis’s tendency to take trophies and improve himself, Jyani’Eirmityr is as much a growing, shifting thing as all living beings. (such updates will be included in the submission should they occur)

WEAKNESSES
  • Drenched in Darkness: While powerful, many of the components of the armor are based in the Dark side of the Force. As all things of that nature, while Telis himself is protected thanks to his modifications, the armor can be heavily damaged and impaired by pure Force Light, causing the Tal’Beskar to be weakened and brittle, fully stopping the enchants on the armor, and causing Telis to require more focus in order to activate or deactivate his warding. While it won’t completely destroy the armor, it removes the main components of its defensive benefits, leaving Telis without many of the armor’s benefits.
  • ”Fullbody Protection? Only Cowards need that!”: Telis’s armor is made to be defensive where it matters and mobile where it matters… but that does mean having to sacrifice one for the other in certain situations, and Telis is far more eager to sacrifice defensiveness over mobility. While the bodysuit beneath provides incredible protection against blasters and environmental damage, it lacks the protection from kinetic weapons and lightsabers almost entirely compared to the Tal’Beskar. Breaking through the plates or aiming for weak-points such as his stomach, joints, or thighs can quickly subvert the strengths of the armor and leave Telis without any protection.
  • Thin Plating: In order to utilize Tal’Beskar’s strength without as much of its weight, the plates of Jyani’Eirmityr are thinner than would be normal for plate armor, causing them to be more susceptible to damage, bending, or cracking from heavy impacts and heavier blows. With the lack of extensive advanced bracing systems as well, there are little physical supports to truly keep the armor in shape beyond Sith enchants and the craftsmanship of the gear.
  • ”I don’t think we need to worry about that…”: Jyani’Eirmistyr has little to no protections against EMP, Ion, and Sonic weaponry without the use of the shield generator. Due to the lack of extensive technological systems, the dangers of EMP weapons aren’t as present, though EMPs will completely knock out the shielding system, leaving Telis completely open to any and all Ion attacks and, to a lesser degree, making him largely vulnerable to Sonic attacks as well. This does mean that EMPs can short out whatever technology Telis has on him beside his armor, since the armor doesn’t blockade any attacks of that kind.
  • Space/Radiation: While Jyani’Eimityr offers great protection against many environmental hazards, it does nothing to stop damaging and hazardous radiation. More than that, the armor itself is not equipped to deal with use in the active vacuum of space, despite the armor’s capability to be able to perform in more vacuous areas. Due to the lack of radiation protection, trying to work in the open void becomes a hazard of not only drifting away, or running out of air, but being subject to damaging radiation in the process. Plus, planets with thin atmospheres and more aggressive stars or areas with cascading power plants are still not possible for Telis without extensive additional gear to offer protection.

DESCRIPTION
Evolution.

It is the singular motive that has driven Telis Taharin through his ranks of the Sith Empire. The idea that he can become far better than a human could ever dream, far more powerful and destructive and dangerous. This, paired with his ambition and his ability to play “the game” has served him well through his ascension to the heights of the Sith Empire, and has turned him into a reckoning force. He is cold, calculating, and brutally efficient in what he does. Though, while others of the Sith Empire have mastered their own forms of immortality and unimaginable power, he sat restless and, most importantly, he was mortal.

With the emergent statements of his previous mentor, Kascalion Giedfield Kascalion Giedfield , proclaiming himself to be the true Dark Lord of the Sith alongside his continued failures in military matters, Darth Aagenti made a reckless bid, driven in part by emotion and in other part by pure desire to prove himself as worthy. He sought to create something that could rival the power of the Dark Nexuses and Sithspawn created by his peers. In his search to find a focal point of his inspiration he came across an abandoned tomb-ship of the ancient Sangnir. Caught off guard by the feral beast of once elders, what was a scouting mission became something far more bloody.

In the end Darth Aagenti emerged victorious, though not having undergone the transfigurations carried by the Sangnir. Learning to embrace this newfound “curse,” he took it upon himself to move one step further, feigning the failed creation of a Dark Nexus and combining the Sangnir “anima” with the blight of Force Vampirism. He forced himself, for the first time, to truly embrace the Dark Side and become a beast within it. He transformed, and he evolved. And as he evolved, he took it upon himself to truly become “Sith.”

That is how the Jyani’Eirmityr is born. Crafted in the same way the Sith crafted their armor of old, Telis took his own inspirations and his own sense of vanity and ego, and mixed it with the brutal birth of the main metal he used in the construction of the armor. Enchanted and bound to him, and created through the harsh forges of the ancient Sith ritual, the armor itself is as elegant as he holds himself to be, and created with a bloodthirst that rivals the malice of his other projects.

Now adorning the armor like a second skin, Telis has fully embraced his position as a Sith Lord, and more than ever holds himself to upholding the status and “honor” of his mantle. The Jyani’Eirmityr is equal parts a sign of power as it is a message to the other Sith, saying that he is more Aagenti then Telis. The armor as a signet speaks for itself of the “fall” that the once-Coruscanti has undertaken, and stands by his silent proclamation that he is the lord of the night, and all others who wish to repudiate his claim may try as they like. Ambition drives his hand, and the Jyani’Eirmityr is a sign that he will no longer sit contently as just mortal flesh and blood.
