Jutrand Jedi Academy
Planet Jutrand, CIS Space

Jutrand was a metropolitan planet. Home to much of the sector's trade infrastructure. Located just beyond the Expansion Regions, off the Hydian Way Galactic Trade Route, and just a bit G-Northeast of Eriadu; it saw a good share of galactic visitors. Many of which found the planet to be a very modern comfort. Even if it was located so very very far from the Core.

Samatharis had joined the Jedi Academy recently and was taking some time to introduce herself to the daily life of a Jedi Knight. Since the Academy building itself was an exact replica of the Jedi Temple of Galactic Center, she found many of the structural basics quite familiar. Even the Jedi Archives were exactly where they should be.

Today she was in a quiet alcove of the Jedi Library researching after the very nature The Force itself. Turning through the pages of a rather unfamiliar paper canvas book.

"The Whills are single-celled organisms who maintain a symbiotic relationship with the midi-chlorians. The Whills feed off the Force and can control the very fabric of our whole universe, even offering destinys to sentient beings who are born with the gift strong enough to perceive them. Their will is the Will of the Force and they are opposed to any who would violate the great symbiosis of life. Specifically, the users of the corruptible and addictive Dark Side. We speculate they are a firm evidence of the correctness of the belief in the Cosmic Force and it's philosophies. Indeed. Proof enough, that nothing in this galaxy happens by accident."

Hmm.

Perplexed, yet curious. Samatharis sat back in her seat and stroked her chin lavishly. It was a fascinating passage and one that came highly recommended to her by the Academy's many Masters and professors. Enough that it gave her pause and a grand idea of how to appraise it. She would ask the Force itself.

So, opening herself up to the Force. She began sensing as to the truthfulness of these pages. Hoping that perhaps these "Whills" and these, "midi-chlorians," would the do the hard work for her. Maybe they would answer her telepathic call for understanding and speak for themselves. Bursting and crashing forth, not from the pages of some ancient tattered book but annoucing themselves to her very mind with the thundering voice of the Gods themselves.

Alas.

...

The moment passed uneventfully. And The Force kept it's secrets to itself.

"Figures." Sam sighed and pushed the canvas book away from her. "...So much for pondering upon the higher realities and the deeper secrets of the Force. Gods in heaven, this crap is pure nonsense anyway. Ugh. Why do I even bother."

She sunk deeper into her seat and sighed deeply. Wondering if her time on Jutrand wouldn't be better spent looking for a good Thai restaurant out in the City Districts rather than stuck sitting here, checking out the most sacred verses of the Jedi Texts and studying them. Ugh. Pure hogwash those had turned out to be. Bleh. Stupid Jedi.

Luckily, the nearby sound of a falling, breaking statuette distracted her from her metaphysical numerations.

"What the..!?"

CRASH!

Oh, crap! Did somebody nearby just drop the silver bust of Master Yoda? Again!

"Ugh. Better check it out."
