Just Witchin Around

The rogue Dathomiri sniper wondered to herself as she sat on the edge hill. What decisions had brought her here? What decisions would take her from here? Only time would tell her. She enjoyed the solitutde, she mused, but then again she did also enjoy the company...Then again the company did not seem to enjoy her most of the time she had it.

"Quite a predicament " She mused out loud as she slowly rose from her seat. She slung her rifle over one shoulder and marched back down the hill, rifle on one shoulder, slingbag across the other. She would have to make camp soon, as night was swiftly imbound, unless she wished to sleep under the stars once again. No, a camp would do for the night, and who knew, perhaps she would create some company of her own

Lilin's continuous wanders had brought her to a place she had not been to yet. She would have liked to count the number of planets she'd visited during her life, but the list would have been too long. Had she compared the list to the total amount of planets in the galaxy, she would have definitely ended up with a feeling of disappointment. There were so many amazing places to visit, but she would never make it to all of them.

But why this place? She had no idea.

Her steps took her all around the place: to the hills, to the forest, to a river. Everywhere she went to, she tried to make the most out of the visit, which of course meant going everywhere she could. And even though she was in deep depression, she did try to enjoy life as much as she could. Maybe wandering around would be able to bring joy back to her.

She ended up on a cliff. Of course, the point was, she was not there alone. She herself had just made it to the place when she noticed there already was somebody there, sitting and seemingly talking to herself.

Lilin didn't know what to think of that, but she sure did not stop or turn around.

Ghost glanced over, noting the other female almost immediately. She was a good bit shorter than herself, and her hair brighter. An Explorer? No dressed too richly for that. Hunter? No once again the clothing did not match. Smuggler? The clothing might work but she didn't seem to have that shifty sense about her that smugglers always did. A Diplomat? Perhaps but why would she be out here? So many questions....

Ghost decided the best course of action would simply be to let the woman come to her, if she had business with her. She didn't ignore her per say, she acknowledged her existence with a pleasant "Hello" And the nod of the head. She knelt on the ground afterwards a while away, some large rocks provided the ideal basis for a camp, and so Ghost got to work, pitching a tent, making a fire, and brewing some tea.

She looked up noting the woman was still a distance away "You may come and share tea" She invited

Lilin didn't reply to the 'hello'. She didn't know whether it was safe to trust her or not. The old Lilin would have definitely gone to the woman to talk to her, to meet and greet and to have a nice fun chat. But the new one was different. The new one didn't trust others so easily, didn't go into a situation head first. She was a little bit hesitant.

But she did decide to join her.

"Thank you for your kindness," she muttered as she made her way to the rocks where the woman seemed to be placing her tent. She remembered the days when she herself traveled around the galaxy like that. These were the old good times.

She took a seat at the rocks and tried to smile to the woman. Most likely ended up being a fake smile.

"I am Lilin," she said.

"I am Scarlet" Said Ghost in a soft tone of voice. She never seemed to speak with passion anymore, just a soft murmurr, a side effect of her profession? One had to wonder.
Ghost finished making the tea and poured it into two cups, which she retrived from her bag. They were simple ceramic, white with a silver rim, nothing special. She handed one of them over to [member="Lilin Imperieuse"] . She felt the hollowness of the smile, and knew how the woman felt

"Is it kindness though? Perhaps it is selfishness? Maybe I am lonely and using you for company? " No action was truly kind of selfless, one always gained something by helping another. Ghost didn't want anything in particular from her, but one never knew if just sharing a cup of tea may save one's life down the road. That and Ghost was somewhat starved for company. She didn't consider herself a social creature, but two years without speaking to another living being would get to anyone.

"That's OK. I enjoy talking to people. At least I used to," Lilin muttered as she took the cup of tea. She was not quite a tea person -- she preferred coffee -- but she could tell it was a nice pot of tea.

Her thoughts started to wander. What if this person she was talking to was in a situation similar to hers? She was no longer a good person reader, but she did understand if another person found happiness from something or if they didn't. Just as she was able to tell if another person was at the same emotional and mental state as she was.

She sighed before taking a sip of the tea. It had a nice taste, although it was so subtle that she couldn't quite tell if she was drinking tea or water. She preferred strong tastes. But she liked that drink as well.

"You're a wanderer, isn't it so?"

"It Is" She conceded with a slight tilt of the head, sipping her own tea. It was well made, though simple in essence. Just a few blades of lemon grass to give it a bit of flavour.

Ghost sighed softly, a small gust of wind tussling her short cut hair. She was dressed in her normal dark clothing, a bodysuit, with a pair of sturdy yet comfy boots, a corset esque top, and gloves. She reached up and brushed her bangs out of her eyes, once again looking over to guest

"As are you, isn't that true?" She asked, studying the woman just a bit more closely. The roads bring the wandering together, or so the saying went. She amended the quote, The roads bring the wandering together, but do not keep them.

"Yeah, I think so."

She sipped her tea as she looked at the beautiful scenery. It was not a place she would typically end up in, but it was definitely one of the best ones to stumble upon. It was actually nice that she had made it there, especially since she could both meet somebody new and get to see a new world. Both of these should have made her situation a little bit better.

"I was an explorer once, now I just try to find myself during my journeys," she spoke. Mostly, it was true.

The girl didn't remember the times when she was just a simple adventurer. They were amazing times, yes, but that's all she remembered. She didn't know exactly what she had done everywhere, whom she had met.

It was sad.

"I'm sure I was something, before I became what I am now. We all were" She said wistfully as she gazed into the flames of the fire. She set down her tea cup and moved over to her bag once again. She should probably do something for dinner. A body needed sustenance

"You may stay here, while I am here" She offered, trying her best at a polite tone. It came out as a soft murmur as well. "What will you do once you've found yourself?" She asked, as she withdrew a small pan from the pack. She placed it on the stand she had used to heat the tea. She reached into the bag once again and poured a bit of liquid into it, letting it heat up slowly before she continued cooking

"Depends," the girl said, taking a sip of the tea. "I believe I will most likely go on with my life, then with the knowledge of how to succeed in life and, most of all, the knowledge of who I am."

She didn't want to talk a lot, even though she had to. This situation was dragging her off her comfort zone, which she was grateful for, but which made her feel really uncomfortable. Having to talk so much was a tedious task, especially if she was talking about such an emotional matter. Would they have talked about, let's say, the politics of Naboo, everything would have been a ton easier.

Yet easy is definitely not what the girl's life was.

"Once again, I am really grateful that you invited me here."

"I can tell you'd prefer if we did not speak of this. So we shant" Even through the woman's mask like gaze she caught a glimpse of how she felt. So the Ghost remained silent as she layed some strips of meat into the pan a few minutes later, and layed a pinch of spices on each of them. She was unused to cooking for more than herself, but she would do her best

She proffered a bottle of somehing besides tea from her bag and offered it to the emotionally masked woman. To see if she would prefer something to help with the numbness she felt. Ghost herself found it easier to lay at night when she didn't have to think. Though it did make one bad company when around others
