Just another day at the Tavern.

"Yeah, well most of my designs aren't that sleek, y'know? I couldn't plan an interceptor even if I wanted to. I simply try to pack too much gear into my tech, and before you know it, it comes out like the Z-BAM."

I beamed at the console of the walker.

"Not that I'm complaining. This is my favorite design, and by far the one I use the most extensively. My armor is another favorite. Perhaps you can see it sometime."

"Imagine plate armor in the same gold and black at this walker, except covered in spikes and filled with more gadgets than a Jawa's belt."

I grinned, and my eyes gleamed.

"It's totally sealed, too. So I can use it in space and underwater. And it has a huge cape."

[member="Maddy"]

"You like capes, huh?"

I reached into a floor panel, and pulled out a folded pile of golden armorweave.

"Try that on. Matches your hair. Might be a bit too big for you, though."

[member="Maddy"]

" ooh pretty" Maddy said taking it and looked at it for a moment before putting it on. " eh it is a tad big but i like it" she said

I laughed.

"It looks way better on you than it does on me. Keep it. A gift from one pilot to another."

I grinned and rifled through the hidden compartment some more. Finding my favorite gold and black cloak, I swung it onto my shoulders.

"Plus, this is mine."

[member="Maddy"]

" oh really? Thanks!" She said smiling " yours is cool too. " she said looking at his cape " i like the gold and black together its really fitting"

[member="Zatten Black"]

"Thanks. I like how it clashes with my face."

I raised an eyebrow and grinned.

"But if you want a real image, just imagine me sitting at the controls of the BAM with full armor on. All you'd see is a pile of black and gold, with some spikes on top."

[member="Maddy"]

"As epic as that sounds, it'll hold off for a bit."

I spun, letting the cape fly around me.

"You're gonna drive this thing, and I'm going to help you."

[member="Maddy"]

"Why not? I've had worse things happen to this baby than have a pretty blonde pilot drive, and possibly crash, 'er. The plating's thick, and the shock absorbers are good. If you can drive it, you'll have some fun."

I grinned crookedly again, and spun my chair around.

"Plus, it's not like I'd have to spend money on a repair shop, eh?"

[member="Maddy"]

"That's the spirit. The walking controls are easy. Just don't open the throttle up, and don't jump."

I pointed at something that looked like a steering wheel that was partially cut off.

"Push down to go forwards, pull to go back, and turn to.... um.... turn."

I did my crooked grin again.

"Relax, @Maddy. The ride'll go smoother than your hair."

"I'll keep my hand on the throttle, if it makes you feel any better."

I spun in my seat again, this time holding the throttle on the dashboard up to first gear.

"If you don't want to go faster, you don't have to... Just walk 'er 'round a bit."
