Just A Regular Day With The Crew

Lightspeed.

It always looked so pretty. The stars just white streaks around the ship, it was almost calming. Kei leaned back in the chair, smiling lightly. He was at peace, Noriko sat next to him with a few hours left in lightspeed. He didn't really have reason to complain, he enjoyed lightspeed, again he found it peaceful.

Kei reached into his pocket, fingers dancing around three small crystals. The Kasha Crystal, The Solari Crystal and The Dantari Crystal. Each one found on Hoth, each Crystal meant something. Each Crystal would be helpful to Kei to build what he finally wanted.

A Lightsaber.

"Now where?"

Hmm well if you were going to go off and make a lightsaber there was only one or three palces you coudl really go. Ilum, Ruusan, Adegan system were some fo the better places but they were also the common places where everyone usually went and looked and you might not be able to find the best or the coolest things. Instead they should be looking for some of the things and Noriko looked at Kei with a grin on her face. "We should head somewhere no one will have searched in a long time. The Dawn Temple, the jedi used it to retrain padawans and jedi who had lost their path and it is fairly obscure with only a small handful knowing about its location... or its use. Most know the coordinates but..." She was putting the information into the computer. "they don't know what exactly is there."

Kei laughed slowly, Noriko taking him someplace private? Kei grinned, this was the worst first date ever. Was it even a first date though? He still had no idea what Noriko felt, and he was much too interested in lightsaber building to tell. He nodded to T3, the ship changing co-ordinates on the drop. Yes both of them would be thrown around, but Noriko entered co-ordinates in the complete oposite direction.

Noriko looked at him and with the coordinates to take them there their job was pretty much done before she moved to sit with him getting a small grin on her face. "Hmm well while we wait we can do a couple things, I have always wanted to move all that stuff from my bunk into your room. We should get it all taken care of in case there is other crew we would want to work with." She said it with a grin and wink but was ready for whatever they could do to pass the time to get his crystal for his saber. The staff she had made with special material to look exposed but you could see the energy when it was being used to provide a number of benefits.

He chuckled lightly, standing up. He supposed moving things from room to room wasn't so bad, and his fingers danced around the crystals in his pocket. Each one meant something to him, each was important to him. He'd nearly gained frostbite to get them, and he sure as heck wasn't going to lose them. That'd look bad on his CV, held for a few months and lost them in one clumsy step. It wasn't something he'd do normally, but he'd become quite clumsy over the months, he didn't want to stumble and have them fly away out of his pocket or something. He stepped from the cockpit, crossing his arms, smiling.

"Question, what do you actually have in your bunk?"

He grinned, and as such spent the next few hours in hyperspace shifting clothes, shoes and other items from Noriko's bunk into his own. He'd never touched Noriko's bunk, he hadn't even looked in it after she left. He couldn't face the reminder of her, not really. He moved everything from that room apart from the bed and warddrobe he'd moved in, they would stay for any passangers or extra crew the Hawk took on. Kei doubted he'd take on anyone else but he couldn't be sure, not really.

"SOme cloths, my armor, some accessories." She thought about it and there wasn't much, she used her families credits as needed for different things here and there. Plus there were the chances for upgrades that came from different things while she was going with him. She stayed with him towards a number of things that they would be able to do. She was looking forward to a couple of the things that they would be able to develop for themselves. "Besides just a few things that we have and are able to do. I spend all of my time in your bunk on the other side of the ship anyways, so might as well make it official and this way if we have to deal with any more crew they are able to stay somewhere."

They spent the few hours in hyperspace in near bliss, laughing and joking while moving items from one side of the ship to the other. It was only when the siren to announce they'd dropped out of lightspeed broke them up that they finally settled down into seriousness, Kei having to break up a kiss to go and fly his ship. He was still debating which was more serious, flying a ship or being with his girlfriend, he was sure someday he'd find out but untiil then he needed to keep them balanced. He dropped into the pilots chair slowly, gazing at the planet in front of them. It was a gorgeous planet, like most. Spintir apparently, well whatever it was it was fine.

Kei worked with Noriko, each one playing off the other to make sure the ship remained stable as it come in to land in front of the temple, the Dawn Temple. It was only when Kei stepped down the boarding ramp that he saw the beauty of the temple, and he was amazed. He was amazed because of it's almost grand stature. He lightly touched the main gates, sure they had fallen into disrepair like the rest of the temple but hey, it was still something of beauty. He smiled towards Noriko, nodding lightly to her.

"I suppose we knock?"

Noriko was looking at him and enjoying it while she looked at everything going on. Spending the time afterwards to rest and she could feel the coolness of the metal floor on her feet as she walked towards the fresher after they had arrived. There was no real speed they needed to go while she stretched out looking in the cockpit afterwards and she saw the temple there before walking over again. Walking towards the ramp but Kei had already gone out with a look on her face of a small frown feeling the air there for herself when there was a breeze. "This place is nice." She said it while walking back and getting the black robes for herself with her clothing before she was moving out to join him and had her saber staff on her hip.

He held Noriko's hand slowly, fingers interlocking with hers as he pushed the temple gate open. He was amazed, it was amazing what some people could do when they set their mind to it, took the time to carve every single detail. It was almost artwork, the beauty of it was stunning, even in disrepair it still looked perfect, emmaculate, much like the girl who's hand he was holding. He smiled slowly to her, setting off towards the temple itself. He didn't know the plan, he was just carrying the bag of bits he'd dragged from his box of stuff on the Hawk. You never knew when you'd need a scrap sheet of Durasteel or a loose screw.

You never knew.

"What's the plan then? You know how to do this stuff, I have absolutely no clue"

"The plan is to go in there and if there is anyone who isn't part of the order well then we kindly ask them to go and I test out one or two new things that have been getting developed by my family." She said it while standing there and they were working on a lot of things. Noriko had the one rod she was able to use flipping it in her hand for a moment as it hummed and practically vibrated with the force. The synthmesh they offered and the beamer on the one end allowed them to work with it. She was looking at it before she slid it into a small holster on the side of her hip near her saber staff with a small grin on her face. Oh yeah the stunner they were going to be working with and she could test would come in very very handy in her opinion for making the things that were going on. "That is why I brought a stunner after all."

He nodded slowly, knowing that she'd have fun testing her items. Her family were big on technology, it had been a member of her family that'd designed his robes. The Ike family were the ones to go to if you needed something designed. Ships, clothing, they'd probably even make toilet brushes into knives, they were Kei's go too builders and designers, or at least Matsu was. He'd done odd jobs for Matsu and Matsu had done odd jobs for him, it was benifical to the both of them to work together. She got someone who didn't mind testing things that'd probably kill him and he got someone who was good at building things.

He wanted to begin working though. He wanted to begin creating, and he was antsy to begin when they entered the temple. He felt out in the force, he felt the silence. It was just him and Noriko, that much was obvious. He crossed his arms lightly, nodding to Noriko and informing her to meet him back and the door when she'd finished. He wanted time to develop his blade, explore the temple and build his lightsaber, his tool and his symbol as a Jedi. That's all it was, a symbol. He wasn't a fighter, not really, it was just a symbol that he was begining his training into a larger world. The world of the Jedi very much was a larger world to be honest.

Noriko was looking at him for a moment while they were going through and towards the temple. The stun staff was designed for sasori and the jedi to give out as needed, let them handle it as a new and better way to equipment with the better ones for handling problems when she started to walk into the temple. The red rod there as she reached out with her senses to breathe in the scents around her, exhaling when she pushed her senses out to see if she was able to find anything while kei could go and work on his saber. She would be able to work on it and give Cathbodua or Krass the chance to work with it using the information. This would be a safer way to work in the hospitals so they could organize more of the things.

He coughed into his hand slowly, reaching into his bag, begining a small stroll towards a small room off to the side. He needed somewhere quiet to work, to build his weapon. He pushed the door open as he removed his hand, a small book in it. The book was nothing special, it was just a set of instructions he'd been given on how to build his lightsaber, how things worked. He smiled as he entered the room, it was perfect. Small, with a small table and a small chair in the corner. He wasn't sure what it was initally, but for what he needed it for it was perfect. He dropped the bag onto the table, sitting down.

He needed to assemble his parts, and he smiled. He'd done the hard work prior to arriving, and as such he removed his disaessembled parts from the bag. He dropped the three crystals on the floor and nodded. He'd done research and apparently he needed to meditate and use the force to build his blade. He sat on the floor slowly, crossing his legs, opening himself up to the force, allowing it to clear his mind and soul.

And he waited, thinking only about the three crystals and his lightsaber.

Letting him head off to work on his saber gave Noriko a chance to explore and she was being careful even with the new silver robes that gleamed in the light it was still a dangerous thing if she encountered someone using the highest end vibroblades with ultrasonic generators. Those were designed to cut at the molecular level so danger there but most couldn't even match it or the toughness that came from the wintrium while she was feeling the force energies coursing through her body when she was letting more of it come out. Searching through as her tactical pad brought the information up about the temple as they could work and establish a small location here to generally work on all of it. Shion would be able to coordinate with Saatome to build it all for them. "Hope everythign is going well for you Kei."

He smiled. It'd been three days since he'd first sat down, he'd stopped once for food but otherwise Kei had meditated for the three days. He couldn't tell you what had happened, he had no idea, all he knew is that he stood up and the lightsaber was there. He assumed it had something to do with the force, but he couldn't tell you, all he knew was that it was complete. He closed his fingers around it, it was rough and ragged just like Kei had visioned it would be, a failure. It wasn't a failure though, it was a lightsaber in his hand, Kei knew it was. He hoped, he prayed that when he turned it on it worked.

"Noriko! Get in here!"

He wanted, no, he needed her to see this.

Noriko had spent the time resting and finding things to do as she dind't discover in the dawn temple anything or anyone who was a threat but she had gotten to test out the beamer for some target practice. The information would be able to go back to the jedi at Sasori and Orihime as this was her project with the others. They were looking to beef this design up and as a non lethal alternative she could see the value of it if they worked to have a small dedicated jedi team meant to work with and handle the problem. Then she herd a voice while she was moving to go and see what he was creating. "What is it." She was uncertain if he was in danger or if he was excited as she moved and was prepared coming into the room looking at him. "What is it Kei?"

He held the cylinder out to her, feeling in the force. It was a simple hilt, the activator hidden on the inside, all part of Noriko's notes. He smiled, mentally pushing the activator switch, watching the yellow beam of plasma eject itself from the hilt. He grinned from ear to ear, swinging it slowly and gently. It was nice, a perfect balance for him. He'd created it through the force and the force had bound it to him, had made it perfect for him.

"Your notes. Perfect, stunning, thank you. Now tell me this isn't cool"

He continued to grin, he was having fun.

Noriko looked at him and raised an eyebrow as she slid the stunner in a small hip holster and pulled out her saber staff with a look on her face. "Well there is only one way to see if it is good and working completely." She stayed there ready activating it with a duel snap hiss of the blades coming forth until she was nodding seeing it. The force energies from the robes she was wearing and everyting that was coming to her before she let out a small breath. Small size, compacted figure all the better for dueling and practicing plus the wintrium made it so he couldn't really harm her just himself if he wasn't careful in the situations.

He gulped slowly, she...she wanted to fight him? He tightened his grip on the hilt, his knuckles turning white out of worry. He watched her, forcing a smirk onto his face. He stepped back slowly, preparing for her to make the first move. He didn't want to make the first move, she would destroy him, she would ruin him. Actually she probably would still ruin him, she had years of experience that he didn't have, which made this so, so unfair.

"Let's do this"

She looked at him and at his blade as she held the saber staff at the grip for a moment providing herself with a small look on her face. Ready to work the magics she had when she shifted her feet standing there with a nod of her head. "Alright then." Her usual Djem so wasn't made to outright attacking off the bat but she could feel the force energies coursing throughout her body and was prepared to get to work with it. Information and power until she twirled the blade letting it hum and atch in one hand going forward with a slash and then rotating it in her hands. The blades sharply going down with the other coming around to slash at and try to bat away the blade from kei.
