  • Ammunition Type: Standard slug (one of the most common pistol slugs available)
  • Ammunition Capacity: 8
  • Effective Range: 6 meters (point blank is encouraged)
  • Rate of Fire: Single action (bolt must be manually cycled)
SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Completely silent (10 dB when fired, 10 db again to cycle the bolt)
  • Gun easily disassembles into a sparker (a type of lighter), and a water bottle, for covert missions.
Strengths:
  • Breath of Death - As loud as an inhale-exhale, the gun's firing and cycling are very quiet, and if pressed up against a body, the firing is entirely muffled.
  • Gun? What Gun? - Able to disassemble into a water bottle and a cigar sparker, it is extremely easy to smuggle. The ammo, not so much, but that's a different issue.
Weaknesses:
  • Peashooter - This gun is not great for anti-armor purposes. One needs to get close enough that there is no chance of armor getting between the gun and the target.
  • Subsonic - The technologies that allow the gun to be silent unfortunately make the gun's range absolutely pitiful.
DESCRIPTION
Using subsonic technologies, the gun fires slugs that are subsonic, preventing them from making noise upon exiting the gun, and preventing it from being detected by most equipment.

Using baffles and similar technology, the gas created from the slugs does not fully allow complete propulsion, making the slugs subsonic and preventing the 'crack' that usually accompanies slugthrowing technology. The firing pin hitting the primer is the loudest noise, and even that is a soft 'snik'.

In conclusion, for covert ops against non-armored targets, this gun is probably the absolute best option one could have.

Purveyor of Fine Weaponry
Bit of advice in the future: For a single shot weapon like this, go for a .300 Whisper or Blackout. Still subsonic, but they pack a little more ass. Not quite as wide as the average pistol bullet, but heavier. Greater impact energy, better ballistics.

Otherwise, this looks good. Though the stories of suppressors making guns silent are largely myth, there are precedents for extremely specialized weapons coming close. I've run the numbers and, if you're using the round I think you are, this should work.
