Journey's Start

Aleksander Miles sat in the command chair of the Impetus-class Frigate Falcon's Roost and glared at the arm of the chair as the man in charge of the ship for the time being issued orders to the crew. He had been told a grand story of how he was son of a Mandalorian clan leader and that for his own safety he was being sent away. What a load of bantha poodoo odds where that his father just didn't want him around and in his way. Whatever he didn't really care he just wished he wasn't being escorted by Mando'ade they were annoying and just seemed to irritate him. No matter how many times he asked they simply told him they were going to someplace where he would be trained. Finally they left hyperspace over looking the planet Kesh the man stepped forward so that when the holo communications came online he was in view as well. Alek stared off to the side bitterly as the man spoke to the other side. "This is Maket Akaata sent here by Aliit'buir Aedan Miles of Clan Akaata. We are here to see one Solan Charr about the son of Aedan Miles. He should have received a message pertaining to our arrival."

The man heard the words as they were relayed over the comm system, having indeed been told of the incoming passenger. His breath came out in the form of words as they were relayed over the comms in a voice that seemed expecting of the arrival but none the less surprised that it had actually come up. "Akaata, take your ship into low orbit and if possible shuttle down to the private hanger of the Palace. Bay three." His hand moved to alert the hanger guards to move into position "Squad to Bay Three, alert his lord that the Kid of Miles is here." With that his hand left the console and he returned to his work.

Solan yawned as he was in the middle of hearing the newest one brought before him. He really needed to figure out a Justice system on the planet that would work with his holding complete power though. It was a challenge but he was sure there was a way that he could do so, he just needed the time in order to make it happen. Thanks to the force though a attendant came up and whispered in his ear about the new arrival that would be coming into the system's atmosphere. "Oh really... today is to be closed off... we will resume this tomorrow." Without further explination he stood and smiled as he dusted off the Viola Coat he wore. It was a simple black trenchcoat with special... features that few knew of by first look. But, with that thought in mind he also took a hold of the Krath War blade nearby and slide it over his shoulder in order to wear it across his back. "Time to meet this Kid Aedan Miles spoke of..."

Hearing the man's word Maket bowed and turned to Alek gesturing for him to follow him. Standing Alek walked behind the man his hands in the pockets of his coat as they stepped into the hall an honor guard of sorts fell in around the young man. Making their way to the hangar they boarded a shuttle a large crate set in the middle of the shuttle that held various items the young man would some day acquire. Leaning back the young man strapped in as the shuttle took off from the ship glancing out the window he watched as the Impetus-class moved after them slower taking up its position in orbit.

The journey down was long and very quiet the Mando'ade talking amongst themselves occasionally checking their gear and other items most of them having large carry-alls that held most of their gear. It was clear that he wasn't going to be away from them it would seem looking out the window he looked over the surrounding area of Kesh noticing the palace they were flying towards and snorting quietly to himself. As they landed three members stood up activating the repulsor lifts on the crate and moving towards the exit followed shortly there after by Alek himself looking around as he stepped off the shuttle he moved forward followed by another 7 Mando'ade who wore their armor but their helmets rested under the arms Maket moving forward to lead the group towards what appeared to be armed guards standing at the far side of the hangar.

And lo and behold Solan stood infront of the guards with a bored look on his face. 'Aedan isn't here himself, shame.' He thought to himself as he looked off to the side and waited for the mandalorians to come close enough for him to speak without raising his tone. "Clan Akaata, a pleasure to have you here with us today. Now, if you don't mind my getting right to asking, which of you here is the kid of Aedan's? It's been bugging me how much you must look like your father or not. Hopefully his brains too. There was never a man i would trust with my life than that man, as long as we were fighting on the same side that is."

The Mando's all glanced back at the young man who while resembling Aedan had a bitter look on his face at the mention of Aedan's name. Glaring at the man who had said it he calmly strode forward looking the man over before looking away. "I guess I am the one you are talking about. Although I am not sure why you trust that man with your life." The Mando's glared at the young man meanwhile Maket sighed and gestured towards Alek lightly. "This is Aleksander Miles the only son of Aedan Miles and not that proud to be his son from what I could gather." Snorting Alek shrugged and waved his hand. "What you expect that for him to send his clan to pick me up after not showing up ever himself would give him a good image. Hell no I don't care about him or what he has done to me he is nothing." The only physical trait that the young man had in common with Aedan was the fact that violet eyes seemed to pass over to him but unlike Aedan's his were bitter and dark.

Sighing Maket gestured the other three with the crate forward pointing at it. "Aedan said that when he is ready Alek can have what is within that crate we have a Beskar Smith among us to adjust it as needed. He said that the time the crate is turned over is up to you he also placed us here to protect Alek with words that another member of Clan Akaata may come shortly. The ex sith Kezeroth may come and watch over the boy and assist in his training if necessary."

"Kez the brute ehh, ive always wondered how the big lug was doing without me around to help him hunt down Sith for sport. Hope i still have more kills than him after all this time otherwise i might think i was getting rusty... Atar, help our guests get set up, i have something to talk about with the kid." Sure Alek wasn't that much younger than Solan, but hell, he was twenty five and he was glad to make use of the word. "Ok, Miles. Two things, A. You are a rather large disgrace to tell the truth, i have a bastard mind you. That is not the reason you are a disgrace. You are a disgrace because you are ungrateful of who you have as a father and the life you have been give. And B: Well, i simply don't like you. You are moody, weak, and nothing but a stain on what those around you are. SO i really do hope that you can understand that. Hmm?" He smiled as he leaned in closer to see what the kid would do.

Alek looked the man dead in the eyes anger flaring up in his as he was compared to that man. Always compared to him who cares if he was the guy whose DNA he shared. He wasn't Aedan Miles glaring and gritting his teeth he muttered to the man. "I don't care if I am a disgrace to him. I am not him I am Aleksander Miles I didn't ask to be his kid." He followed that statement with a quick series of punches three strikes aimed at the mans chest followed by a kick sweeping his leg up and around in a high round house hoping to catch this annoying man off guard.

He smiled as the strikes came and moved his arms to redirect each before forcing to push his body back out of the reach of the kick, just barely watching it miss his face as his breath was held for that moment. He stared at the man and smiled as he was going to have to teach this kid something about challenging those he should respect. "Yet you keep his name, truly you are not his kid... No kid of Aedan's would be this slow and easy to beat." He smiled and moved his foot back into his own ready stance as he waved off his guards, he was going to have some fun with Aleksander and it would be a good first lesson for the kid that Aedan had entrusted him with. 'Pawning off someone just like you on me Aedan, bad form.' He thought to himself, musing at how much this kid could become like his father in a short time.

With a dark snarl the young man slipped into his own stance allowing himself to fall into a place within himself that he always entered when in a fight. His hands came up half closed as his feet slid apart his left foot sliding back as he lowered his head taking a few breaths before bringing it up his eyes focused as he slipped forward sending three quick strikes at the man alternating hands before falling up with a reverse round house hoping to catch the man off guard.

He smiled and the first strike came in his hand came up to knock it to the side and then the second in turn while the third was stilll coming around to hit. It was quick jabs, the kid had some experience but not enough to be considered ready in any shape of the term. The third punch came in and he smiled as he moved otu of the way and watched as the kick came up before catching it in his chest and sending him off his feet as he let the kick carry him and his feet caught the ground once more as he smiled. "Cute... My turned."

His feet came in as he stepped closer and pushed the force behind his elbow to propel his hand right into the chest of Alek's body, watching and waiting to see just how this kid would take a strike that Solan could deliver.

Alek scowled as the man knocked him backward quickly hopping to keep his balance only to see the man striking at him he dropped down to his knees leaning back the blow clipping his head causing his eyes to swim from the contact. Falling farther back he quickly spun a bit attempting to clear the area around him as he skipped up to his feet and back a step holding his hands up as he took a moment to clear his eyes. Focusing after his eyes had cleared he watched the man standing on the balls of his feet almost seeming to bob up and down as he kept himself ready to move.

Solan smiled and started to move forward once more as his hand came close to his body before shooting out in a quick right jab. This was quickly followed up by a slightly slower left punch which was meant to keep Aleksander's focus on the punch itself before his right hand shot out once more. The Right hand would go for instead of a simple jab at the man's chest it was a strike aimed at the face of Aleksander and Solan once more pushed the force behind it to add a bit of umph and speed behind it.

This kid was good, but he needed to get back on the offensive, if Solan kept at this pace Aleksander would only find himself faced with a very disappointed vahla halfbreed.

Alek suddenly instead of falling back moved forward ducking as he moved under the mans first strike closing with him and using his right hand to sweep his left handed strike wide before aiming a quick strike at his chest from in close followed by a left and then a kick at his right knee. Alek had to get room to breath and prepare to fight back hard. The Mando's grinned as they watched each of them had spent some time boxing the young man around it was one way to earn his respect for sure.
