STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES (Required: 2 Weaknesses Minimum) :

Josephus is a good shot with a blaster in his hand. The man also has some skill with the stun baton due to his training with the Coruscant Security Force and hand to hand combat. Along with physical capabilities, Inspector Kiren is intelligent enough to be an investigator. One weakness is his morality. While Josephus is a police officer in Coruscant, he has not found himself above the corruption that comes with Coruscant's criminal underworld. Especially in his role as a police officer. Another weakness is the fact that he is a non-force sensitive and would be unable to contend with Jedi or Sith in combat in most situations.

APPEARANCE:

Josephus dresses much like any noir detective. A dark suit and tie. Unlike the uniform that CSF uses, due to Kiren's role as a detective he prefers a more personal touch in his wardrobe.

BIOGRAPHY:

Josephus Kiren was born and raised on Coruscant. The man was content to never leave the planet. Josephus was happy to not explore the rest of the Galaxy and instead stay on Coruscant with his feet on the ground. He was content to just be a police officer after enlisting. It was the main capitol of the entire Galaxy and he got to live and work there. He had started off as any police officer might. His head held up high and pure intentions in his heart while trying to uphold the law. Inevitably he even gained the rank of Inspector due to his keen investigative skills.

But like all great tragedies, he fell from grace.

The morality of Inspector Kiren over the years had started to lean from good to a more morally grey area. He would work his cases as best as he could with a system that was filled with corruption. He would put criminals away who were just bound to get a slap on the wrist or get away. There was no real way to end crime as the officer had once naively thought. So instead he found himself falling into the darkness. It started off small. He took bribes in exchange for a chance for criminals to walk. He had informants he would shake for information and used whatever means to make a bit of profit while still trying to solve his own cases. Along with his corruption, soon enough Kiren found himself with a drinking problem that he couldn't quite break. He was corrupt but also endearing in his hope that he worked the system to solve the cases that came across his desk one way or another. Asking whether he was good or evil would always be a complicated question. There was no white and black, light and dark, but only the grey area that Kiren had found himself in now. A grey area that was getting darker and darker by the second.
