• [SIZE=11pt]Sonic: Very Low. This definitely wasn't built with sonic weapons in mind. A couple hits from a Geonosian blorp gun and it'll just stop working. So will the hand and forearm inside.[/SIZE]

It'll seep right through the micronized beskar fabric, eat through or permeate the insulation, and start attacking skin or components in relatively short order. If you get hit with a weapon like that, discard the gloves quickly and you might avoid skin contact.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=11pt]Some people really like crushgaunts. Several of those people died or got themselves captured while [/SIZE][SIZE=11pt]attacking Utapau[/SIZE][SIZE=11pt]. Jorus Merrill wound up with a few pairs of crushgaunts. ‘Hey,’ he said. ‘I don’t like crushgaunts. What I really like is shockboxing.’ Due to about thirty years of shockboxing experience, he had plenty of shockmitts lying around. He stripped out the crushgaunts’ crush servos, leaving them as basically just semi-plated work gloves made of micronized beskar fabric. He adjusted the insulation to resist both crushgaunt (thermal) and shockmitt (electrical) effects. Then he replaced the crush gear with shockmitt components. Voila: a shockboxing glove that can punch a lightsaber and a Sith with equal effectiveness. Simple combination, simple concept, simple execution, simple result.[/SIZE]
