Standing at 6ft2, Joren's athletic frame is toned but not overly bulky, a balance between strength and speed. His dark hair is typically styled into a tousled, swept-back look with natural waves that frame his sharp, angular face. His complexion is smooth and fair, while his eyes are a striking emerald color. He has a light stubble that strengthens his jawline and completes his typical smuggler-rugged look. He usually wears his favorite worn, brown leather jacket with a high collar and underneath, a fitted dark henley clings to his torso.

PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS
Joren walks a fine line between being a soldier and scoundrel. His personality was originally forged in the disciplined halls of the Fondor military academy but tempered by the nearly lawless life of a smuggler. He has an abundance of confidence ever since he left the Academy, bordering on arrogance that often puts people off balance.
This bravado isn't just for show, however, it's a shield that hides the calculating mind formed by his training. Despite this disciplined upbringing, he generally trusts his instincts more than orders, and his loyalty is to his own code, not to any flag or faction.
Joren has a sharp wit and a love for banter, using humor to disarm or deflect, but he can switch to deadly serious in an instant when the situation calls for it. He's not cruel, but he's pragmatic, though the finer things in life often make it hard for him to separate business and pleasure.
Still, there's a flicker of something deeper inside of him, a hint that there could be more to his life than being a smuggler.
STRENGTHS
- Flying: Having learned to fly small freighters at a young age, Joren's had plenty of time to perfect his skills inside a cockpit throughout the years.
- Tactician: Before going solo as a smuggler, Joren was sent to the Fondor Military academy by his father and spent his time there until graduation. This has helped hone his mind into that of a tactician.
- Clever: Ever since he left his homeworld and decided to travel alone, he has been forced to grow street-smart enough to survive the Galaxy.
WEAKNESSES
- Cocky: Being young and clever often makes him cocky or downright arrogant. He easily overestimates his own abilities, and underestimates potential threats.
- Fairly normal: In a Galaxy full of deadly Force Users and savage monsters, Joren is fairly... normal. He knows his way around a blaster pistol and is a good pilot, but he's nothing special in combat.
HISTORY
Born into a family with a long and decorated military lineage, Joren's future was mapped out from birth. His childhood was spent on various military outposts, absorbing discipline and strategy as readily as other children learned games. It was no surprise when he followed in his father's footsteps, enrolling in the prestigious military academy on Fondor. There, he excelled, his natural talent and sharp mind making him a standout cadet. He even graduated with honors, his name already whispered among those who saw a future commander in him.
Everything changed, however, when news arrived that his father had been killed in battle. The loss shattered the vision of his life. The uniform suddenly felt like a cage, rather than the invincible armor he had seen it as when his father returned again and again with new tales of victory.
There was only one thing Joren could do.
He walked away from the only life he'd ever known, taking his skills and training to the borders of the known Galaxy. He became a smuggler, not out of greed, but out of a desperate need to find his own path, far from the shadow of legacy and the cost of duty.
