DESCRIPTION
With the new dawn of Mandalore Quoron Vizsla began to integrate more technological advancement into his craftsmanship. When he began the design of Baiko’s Blade his goal was to include as much function as possible and to create multiple redundant systems to fit different situations. The new style of blade excited him because it would need to be forged in multiple pieces.

His journey to acquire the necessary materials began as most others did, with the usage of contacts to acquire the songsteel required for the blade. Then he put a holo-call to Gary Raxis to order Silicar for the blades. He then set to work on making the various mechanical and electrical parts needed to make the pole. To make the shock pieces he purchased 2 shock batons and set to work on miniaturizing it to fit in the pole. He then set to work making the mechanism that would allow the blades to open out. These components were made by using a durasteel pole to stand in for the final product. In the days following his completion of the mechanical components the shipments of Silicar, Songsteel, the purple coating, blue coating, and the Labradorite heart arrived at his workshop.

Now that all the materials and components were ready he was ready to begin forging the blade and pole. The pole provided a unique challenge to him because he needed to forge the pole with slots for the various components to included. Once he was ready he began the laborious process of forging each blade coating it blue and purple respectively. Then work began on each half of the pole. It resulted in Quoron’s best work yet due to it being a perfect circle despite the older methods employed in its forging. After each piece was completed he began to install the components in it. First the heart in each half, then the hinge and release to make the pole arm able to be folded, the shock components put in their housing and lastly the blades were inserted into the housing. Once this process was completed he used lubricant to be certain that the mechanical components would work all the time. Then he engrave various symbols onto the polearm representing Baiko’s story and he left space on the end of one half so the as Baiko continues her life she is able to tell her story on her weapon. Exhausted and worn out he gazed upon his newest creation with a sense of pride and satisfaction in the work he had done. He was immensely proud of the sword he had made for the Woman’s daughter but he could say with certainty that this was the greatest work he had done.

Strengths:

 • Lightsaber Resistant: Due to its songsteel the majority of the polearm is resistant to lightsabers with the exception of the interior pieces housing the components

 • Lightweight: Again due to it being made up of songsteel it is fairly lightweight.

 • Shock baton: When the blades are retracted the place where they were becomes a shock baton

 • Detachable: The two halves of the polearm are detachable which give it more mobility in close combat and give Baiko an advantage

 • Formal mag gloves: accompanying the pole arm are a pair of formal mag-gloves with the magnets run along the gloves so that Baiko can do more technical bladework without fear of dropping it
Weaknesses:

 • Many parts: Due to the many components of the pole arm it can be so damaged that it could be reduced to glorified batons

 • Large size: Because of how long the sword is it becomes unwieldy and almost unusable at close range in its unfolded configuration

 • Electrical discharge: If the shock components are heavily damaged it will release a high voltage shock into the user

 • Folded: To make it easier to carry the pole arm is folded and the blades are folded in it takes time to unfold the blades and have it combat ready.

 • Rarity: If the blade is broken it would be next to impossible to repair

 • Structure: Due to its nature as a folding weapon it is much more likely to break under stress
