- Tiger's Heart: A unique crystal to Cathar, the crystal strengthens the users will, allowing them to withstand pain much more so long as they are wielding it.
- Ornate hilt design: Built to mirror the murals of her homeworld, the hilt is covered in cathar artwork, intricate pieces representing the story of Jonyna's mother as a Sentinal.
- Firestarter: Built with Jonyna in mind, the blade can channel her pyrokinesis with a burning flame that make it look as if the blade is on fire.
- It's a Lightsaber, baby: Can cut through most things with ease.
- One Hander: A blade designed to be wielded in a single hand, even dual wielded by a skilled fighter, Lucy acts as a bridge between the traditional styles of the jedi, and Jonyna's more erratic improvisation that kept her alive during the days of the Empire.
- Firestarter: Designed with Jonyna in mind, the blade burns much hotter than a normal saber, and can channel her pyrokinesis through the blade. This allows it to temporarily increase the cutting power of her blade, and shoot flames out of it for a medium range attack.
- Songsteel Hilt: A choice material, allowing Jonyna to use the hilt to block blows from other sabers.
- No Dimetris-circuit: After spending years wielding a cortosis blade, Jonyna modified her saber to be resistant to such attacks.
- Directed EMPs: While the reinforced Duraplast prevents Lucy from shorting out from minor EMP blasts, anything more directed will short out the blade.
- Cathar's Rage: Due to it's crystal, the blade becomes uncontrollable should it have dark side energy forced through it, spouting out less like a focused blade, and more like a wildfire that can't really cut through anything.
- Water, the old enemy: While the blade does have a wood lining, making it resistant to immediate damage, extended submersion of the blade while active will short it out
- Helicopter Parent: Given the crystal's maternal origin, the blade has a tendency to judge it's wielder, occasionally causing the crystal to choose not to function should it deem Jonyna (or someone else) unethical in their choices.
A blade originally designed by Jonyna's then fellow Padawan Giran Thracker, Jonyna found the design in desperate need of an upgrade after learning of the horrors of the modern galaxy from
Kahlil Noble
. After learning of the forge within the jedi temple, Jonyna spent many hours honing her blade to what she thought Giran would be proud of. While she was never a craftsman herself, this was one thing she could be proud of...
