+ Quick Draw: Jo'lyn has a naturally quick set of reflexes due to her natural ability in kinesthetics. This gives her an intuitive knowledge of what is going on around her and the ability to make quick decisions.
+ Shadow Affinity: Jo'lyn has a natural affinity for stealth, both with use of the force and without.
+ Excellent Foundation: Jo'lyn was raised to the Order, and as such she has excellent control over the beginner powers and forms and can use them as a foundation to build up more advanced skills.
- Inquisition against the Dark: Due to Jo'lyn's history, she has no soft side for the Dark Side of the Force, or the people who use it. This extends directly to the One Sith, as their leaders are all masters of the dark side. This can turn into a complete lack of compassion towards dark siders if pushed to an extreme.

- Trauma: Jo'lyn is carrying around some emotional baggage from her experiences, which may crop up from time to time unless dealt with.

BIOGRAPHY:
-Birth to Discovery-
Jo'lyn Vahr is the latest descendant of a long line of powerful force users. Her most famous ancestor was the Grandmaster of the Jedi Order thousands of year before the Battle of Yavin, Satele Shan. Through the centuries, the bloodline has passed into and out of history, often with different names than either Shan or Vahr. Jo'lyn was born into a family full in the knowledge of the biological heritage she represented. On Tython, she was born in a Jedi hospital and raised in the Jedi Temple on Tython until she reached the age of four, when she was officially inducted into a youngling clan.

-Training on Tython-
At the age of four, Jo'lyn was taken in to a youngling clan. What set her apart from other younglings was that she still saw her parents, as they were both Masters of the Order. Despite the fact that within the Order she was already home, Jo'lyn never let that familiarity with life in the temple boost her ego. She always made sure that her experience with the workings and politics of the Order benefited her fellow younglings, and later the padawans. Growing up in the Order ensured that Jo'lyn was well practiced at the basics, as despite her long career with the Order even by the time she was ten, she was not allowed to advance beyond her peers in the youngling clan. This ensured that she had a solid grounding for more advanced skills when she was able to learn them.

-Netherworld and One Sith Takeover of Tython-
Jo'lyn was growing with the Order, becoming a prodigy among the young Consular padawans at the Tython temple. As a padawan, she was allowed to teach some of the youngling classes, first with the aid of a Knight or Master, and then on her own. All of this came to an end with the Netherworld event. Suddenly, Jo'lyn was thrust into the heart of hell with nothing but her wits and martial skill to aid her. She walked through Hell, and at the end of the Netherworld event, she found herself deaf and dehydrated in the heart of the Silent Desert, and all alone. She wandered until she found the ruins of an old Je'daii temple. Inside she found food and water, and the ability to hear again. Soon after Jo'lyn emerged from the devastation of the Netherworld event, the One Sith invaded Tython. Hidden nearby, unable to reach any population center in order to help before it was to late, Jo'lyn could only watch in mute horror as the life she had led prior to the Netherworld event was demolished by the renewed One Sith war machine. Jo'lyn retreated to the Silent Desert and planned her personal resistance. Throughout her training, she had shown an affinity for the powers of stealth, both mundane and force imbued. She utilized that ability to strike small victories against the One Sith occupying army. Always she retreated back into the Silent Desert to her hidden ruin hideout to recuperate and plan a new strike. For over a year, Jo'lyn has lived fighting the oppression of One Sith rule on her homeworld. She has come to the decision that she can't strike the One Sith from her world alone, and must find a way off of Tython so she can gain allies for the fight against the Sith.

-Insurgency to Omega-
Jo'lyn failed to find a way off Tython before the One Sith tightened their grip on the incoming and outgoing shipping. Thus, she decided that she would continue her fight from the shadows. She spent years planning and executing attacks on convoys, small guard posts, and communication centers. Each attack was a small pittance to the massive One Sith empire, however. Her small insurgency honed her skills, though. Each strike was better planned, better executed, and bigger. Then came Omega. The One Sith and the Republic were unraveling, and the galaxy came to watch. The only thing this meant on Tython was that One Sith forces waned, their stranglehold grew less. Jo'lyn was able to help a local resistance group liberate first one city, then another. By the time the Omega event had ended, Tython was free once again. Various Jedi were able to openly come and go from Tython again, and Jo'lyn finally was able to move out into the galaxy.
