Contract Description: Kuat Drive Yards is starting the JMSS Program (Joint Medium Support Ship) as they want to build a new Civilian Tugboat. We hope many individuals and organizations will apply, but we will choose only one Design to be rewarded. KDY is willing to pay approved individuals and organizations to design a new, made for the modern era, civilian tugboat that will be affordable to a variety of companies. Besh Credits, which can be used to purchase items from KDY at any time, and a final sum will be rewarded to the chosen Designer, depending on quality. Ownership rights will be shared with the initial design owned by the designer, and KDY given permission to make secondary variants. Profits from the design will also be shared, with 20% going to the original designer. Variants sold by the designer do not have profit share, therefore they gain all profits from their own local sales. For any questions or concerns, please send a message.

Design Requirements
  • The ship can not exceed 200 meters.
  • The ship must be able to perform duties across the galaxy, and be up to the task of handling Standard-Sized Star Destroyers.

Arceneau Trade Company is a well known and well respected company, we look forward to your entry. Credit transfer of 25,000 has been made to Silk Holdings.

Silk Holdings is new to Kuat Drive Yards, but it seems they can hold their own. So far, we like the design. Credit transfer of 25,000 has been made to Silk Holdings.

This is a well designed tug, and is acceptable. However, initial payment has already been sent to Arceneau Trading Company as per their original statement. They may share and/or split the payment between each of the joint companies. We will not dish out separate rewards to each company, someone will have to choose how they are divided, if they are divided. Initially, if the design is won, they will go to Arceneau, and for this one time we will allow transfer of Besh.

The 20% of profit will go to only the original designer, which I hope a professional settlement of who the original designer is can be discussed between yourselves. Thank you for taking interest in this.

(This complication is in support of contracts and allowing companies to use this towards tiering and/or other things)

The Joint Medium Support Ship Program is still accepting applicants

This program was designed to find and meet the needs of new, every day ship-constructing, modifying, or utilizing companies, for transport and acquisitions of ships and large-scaled ships. KDY-owned variants will have a reduced price tag, although may be less as 'flashy' as their partners variants. This is to create a modern standard of Tugs for the galaxy, while allowing the partners to sell better quality variants. Please, do not be discouraged in joining this Program for the Galaxy. Rewards are negotiable.

Since we didn't have three designers, we will be waiting until May 25th. If a third Designer joins, we will announce the designer of choice after the third Designers submission is approved. Thank you for your participation.

We would like to thank everyone for their participation and hard work going into these finely tuned designs. The designs submitted are, honestly, very well produced and crafted. Which is why I wanted to personally make this announcement. In a perfect galaxy, I would want to make both designs the winners, however, Kuat Drive Yards can not see a potentially positive future, economically, to praise both. We have many space stations and many workers to keep paid.

It pains me to say, but with great respect, to say that Saffrons design has won this program. All production of the tug will be paid for by Kuat Drive Yards, including purchasing of resources and materials. The original designer will not have to share any profits from the product, however Kuat Drive Yards will be allowed to create, produce, and sell different variants of the tug. Each new variant will also come with a small percentage given back to the original designer for every purchase of a Kuat Drive Yards variant design. A contract will be written up soon, are you available to meet? (roleplay thread, I can set it up)

However, I do not wish for Silk Holdings to feel left out. Kuat Drive Yards would like to work with Silk Holdings to create a Kuat Drives variant of their design, or even outright purchase the design for full ownership. It is a worthy design that deserve more light. Are you available for a meeting? (roleplay thread, I can set it up)

Thank you everyone for your participation.
