Originally conceived by Strider Garon, Mandalorian Field Marshall, the Red Legion, also known as the Red Army or Red Force, was the collective military ground forces and navy of the Mandalorian Empire, created under Mand’alor Gilimar Skirata to represent the non-Mandalorians in their ranks. They were a separate identity, with its own chain of command only answering to Mand’alor and his marshals. The Red legion was made up from a vast array of races and cultures, most of them within the borders of the Mando’ade Empire but the Legion also accepted Foreigners to serve the cause.
The Red Legion was most noticeably recognized by the red armor they wear. No matter what race or culture they were from they all were equally uniformed and united by the Red armor and slit visor helmets. They were the meat and potatoes of the military with the Mandalorians themselves front and centre as the vanguard.
However due to their status of being Non-Mandalorian the Mandalorians attempted to distance themselves from the Red Legion and it created a class difference and a large gap in respect between the highest ranks of the Legion and even the lowest ranking Mandalorian. Many Mandalorians thought the Legion to be lesser and not suited for combat within the Mandalorian's military force resulting in violence against them. Seeing this through data Mand'alor Gilamar Skirata put into action a change in policy.
The Red Legion ranks would hold the same power as the Mandalorian equivalent technical rank. However, even this did not stop the discrimination. Taking a stand against this he hand picked the first class of what would be called the Red Legion Super Commando Division. These troops held power over all other ranks except the Ori'ramikade and the Mand'alor himself, essentially holding as much power as a non-Ori'ramikade Field Marshall in the field. These Super Commandos were the best of the best, and when they dropped into battle alongside Ori'ramikade they commanded respect and gave hope to the Non-Mandalorians. This was their Legion, their people and along with the new Commando unit came a peace and understanding between the Mandalorians and those they now called vod.

Faction Goals
- Create more member driven Mandalorian-based Content
- Give an outlet to those willing to play a true soldier's role
- Give writers a way to join the Mandalorian faction without the "hassle" of learning Mando'a and figuring out the culture etc.
- Bring back a rich lore that was left behind
Role in the Faction and "Expectations"
As a member of the Red Legion you are the first line of defense along the Mandalorian Border. You will also see the most combat in Skirmishes and will often be deployed in offensive invasions with defensive invasions being your main priority. Utilizing a variety of technology ranging from drop pods to Mandalorian Dreadnoughts Legionaries are expected to know how to fly and shoot and tinker. Red Legion Super Commandos hold a greater amount of autonomy than the rank and file. Of course we don't expect you to play soldier all day long! Feel free to join any open threads or faction threads you want as your "leave", but never forget your rank. Utilizing your issued gear for another faction without consent of your military superiors can result in penalties up to and including imprisonment in a Mandalorian prison (believe me you don't wanna go there).
