- Age: The approximate age of
John Mahporeem
is difficult to determine, though it is believed that the droid is at minimum several hundred years old. - Model:
John Mahporeem
is seemingly constructed out of a variety of different droid models, including parts from the following droids:- 2-1B Surgical Droid
- Imperial Probe Droid
- GNK-series Power Droid
- R5-series Astromech Droid
- MSE-6 series Repair Droid
- EV-series Supervisor Droid
- WED Treadwell Repair Droid
- Miscellaneous droid parts and components
- Appearance: To say that
John Mahporeem
is something of a mess would be a serious understatement, as the droid seemingly appears to be a mismatch of random droid components and assemblies cobbled together to create one singular Monster Droid. Tools and appendages stick out from
John Mahporeem
at random intervals, and the whole droid moves around on a set of four wheels mounted below a pair of treads that don't even touch the ground. Wires and electronic components run around the entirely of
John Mahporeem
, and lights and sensors seem to flash all over John's rust stained body.

John Mahporeem
is seemingly capable of speaking nearly any known language throughout the galaxy, much like Protocol Droids are capable of doing - Personality: Despite his rather intimidating appearance,
John Mahporeem
has a surprisingly affable personality. He is good natured, kind hearted and always ready to help. In fact, John is so easygoing that he is quite literally incapable of performing what he considers to be "violence", though he can perform surgery on organic beings if he believes doing so will help the person he is operating on. John also has an involuntary Self-Destruct feature that activates anytime John is in serious danger or is tampered with, sometime he profusely apologizes for anything it activates its countdown.
- Weapon of Choice: Technically, John has a number of instruments and appendages that he could use in combat, but whoever programmed him made him nearly incapable of committing violence, meaning that he is unable to use most of his equipment in any sort of offensive manner. As such, John's "weapon of choice" remains his involuntary Self-Destruct Mechanism, which will cause him to explode in spectacular fashion should it be successfully triggered.
- Combat Function: John is absolutely a massive liability in combat, due to his large size, slow speed and inability to use his equipment in an offensive manner. John is best utilized in secure zones within friendly territory, and must be placed under serious guard should he venture out onto the battlefield or into any dangerous areas. The threat of John blowing up from his Self-Destruct Mechanism acts as the main deterrent he has against anyone who might want to cause him harm.
- Jack of all trades: whether it involves repair machinery, salvaging technology or building even performing medical procedures, John Mahporeem is capable of performing a variety of different tasks
- Fluent in 6 million forms of communication: John Mahporeem has been programmed to understand and speak nearly every language throughout the galaxy
- Nice: John Mahporeem has a very affable personality, making it easier for him to get along with most organic and inorganic beings
- John go BOOM: John’s involuntary self destruct mechanism forces his enemies to be careful in their attempts to try and destroy him
- Bulky: John Mahporeem is rather large and slow moving, making him an easy target
- Pacifist: John has been programmed to be incapable of inflicting violence on others. The only exception to this is when John is performing medical procedures or has his involuntary self destruct mechanism activated
- Quirky: Some may find John’s overly nice and caring personality a bit annoying at times
- John go BOOM: Should John Mahporeem’s involuntary self destruct mechanism activate, he will take out anything near him within a large radius
Like many of the oddities found within the sprawling scrapyards and junkyards of Mahporeem, the origins of
Undeterred, the Imperial Remnant instead decided to put John to work, something that the droid seemed quite happy to do. In fact, John's affable personality and willingness to assist others quickly earned him the endearment of the entire Imperial Remnant, and though not much was really known about him, it was decided to make him into a sort of mascot for the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant. Whether or not John fully understands his sort of "celebrity" status remains unclear, but what is clear is that John has a genuine desire to help the people of Mahporeem and the mission of the Imperial Remnant.
This ability to assist, of course, only goes so far, as whoever programmed John made him nearly incapable of using violence against other beings. Coupled with his Self-Destruct Mechanism activating anytime someone tries to get a closer look at the droid's internals, the Imperial Remnant has been forced to accept John for who he is, though attempts to figure out who made him and what his original mission was remain underway. Whether or not such attempts to discover the truth are successful remain to be seen.
