Private Job of Mineral Wealth

Location: 244Core, Relaali

-- Negotiations with the Eeook Corporation had finally wrapped up, they would support his cause in the building of his forces. The Eeook Corp was a strong backer in their part of he galaxy for their pure turn out of resources.

-- This meeting had pissed off several of the prominent warlords in the Fringe Worlds as well as a few political figures in the Unknown Region. However, the Warlord cared little for that, he mostly did this to piss off the other notable figures in the wider galaxy in hopes of fighting stronger opponents. It was his lackey that convinced him to go on this meeting, as such he was just looking for another get rich plan.

-- The Gen'Dai Warrior walked out of the meeting room in the capital city and into the streets of the greater area. He wore his heavy armor for it was the only way for his body to stay in its humanoid shape. His Shield strapped to his back along with his heavy machine gun. The only thing in his hand was his massive mace and a datapad that was showing the money flowing into his account. The behemoth of a monster nodded his head and lightly threw it at the skinny lengthy human next to him.

-- "Looks good Rat Dog," Mygeleto used his massive Vibro-Mace as a back scratcher for the back of his neck. "More of these and we can get that Tank I saw in Annaj, put a hole in a Republic Bunker they said."

-- The Human next to him caught the datapad and sighed a little knowing that if he missed the behemoth would possible hit his head off his shoulders. "Yes boss, not like we need the credits for fuel."

-- The two continued to walk as the large monstrous man continued to poke fun at the human. They were making their way to the spaceport where their shuttle was waiting for them.

Alyosha had accepted the bounty on Mygeleto Mygeleto with some reluctance. The file had driven home the Gen’Dai’s unusual size, even among his own race, as well as his purported invulnerability and famed battle prowess. But Alyosha had shaken off his reservations—size and brute strength had no meaning where speed and accuracy with a blaster were concerned. Besides, it wasn’t as if the bounty was asking for him to be captured alive. Only his head was necessary as proof of the kill.

He tracked the warlord to Relaali, pinpointing his exact location by way of his traceable business dealings with the Eeook Corporation. Lying in wait on a rooftop near the corporation’s headquarters, he observed Mygeleto leaving the building, accompanied by a scrawny human. The pair were headed for the spaceport. He would have to strike now.

An assassin was not one to face an opponent honorably; he would take this bounty out from as far away as possible, to ensure minimal risk. Alyosha took aim at the behemoth, observing the bulging masses of flesh pushing through the cracks in his armor. Having seen him scratching the spot with his massive mace, Alyosha targeted the exposed skin at the back of the alien’s neck, narrowed his scope, and fired.

-- The behemoth of a monster lurched forward as the round entered his neck, the minimal popping sound of the round exploding as it exited his body. It was that sound that made the man near him run for cover. Mygeleto himself however, recovered and focused on the wound as it recovered from the powerful round. It had been some time since someone openly tried to kill him so he would have to give Rat Dog a pat on the back. Pissing off the other Warlords really did put his life on some risk, and risk was only the proper way to live.

-- Mygeleto turned to see where the firing came from, but his sensors could not pick them up. He tapped on his helmet to make sure the damned thing was working, but all seemed in order. In his fit of annoyance he dropped his mace on his belt and brought up his shield, all while he then reached for the weapon on his back.

-- He scanned the area, and then opened fire of his weapon on the crowed gathering from the weapons fire that hit him. Downing a small handful of individuals who were probably nothing more then bystanders he stopped to reload the weapon. Three Hundred rounds of 9.3 mm hot lead was expended and a good portion of casualties lay on the ground. Calateral damage in a world of the strong. Once he was done reloading he looked out from behind his shield.

-- "MARCO!!" He yelled into the now empty avenue.

Alyosha was as cold-hearted as they come, but even he raised an eyebrow as Mygeleto Mygeleto unleashed a storm of fire into a crowd of civilian bystanders, killing several. He guessed that either the Gen’Dai was brutish enough that he thought the assassin was in the crowd and didn't care about casualties, or he intended to draw as much attention to the failed assassination attempt as possible. In any case, it was only a matter of time before the local authorities would descend upon the scene of the massacre, and while the Gen’Dai might not be particularly concerned about getting arrested or killed, Alyosha was not so lucky.

What little research he had done into Gen’Dai biology told him two things—while they could heal their bodies quickly, they could not regenerate brain tissue, and the only way to destroy them would be to vaporize them at the atomic level. He had hoped to incapacitate Mygeleto first, then get to the vaporizing part under more controlled circumstances. But he had failed to down the alien with his first shot, and now a fight was inevitable.

As Mygeleto peered out from behind his shield to taunt him, Alyosha aimed two more quick shots in the vicinity of the alien’s exposed head before ducking out of the way to reload his weapon.
