DESCRIPTION
A survivor of the unforgiving streets of Kijimi, Jin Kimura is a Jedi unlike most. Born into chaos and raised in the underworld, his past is carved into his instincts—fast, focused, and fiercely loyal to those who earn his trust. Clad in robes that echo his samurai heritage and tattoos on his arms showcasing his past, he embodies balance: the quiet resolve of a Jedi and the hardened grit of a street fighter. Known as Ghost, he now walks in the light while mastering the shadows.
STRENGTHS
[+] Brave - Jin doesn't flinch in the face of danger. Whether it's facing a gang of blaster-wielding syndicate thugs or walking alone into a Sith hideout, he meets threats with fearless determination. He's seen the worst the galaxy can offer—and he still chooses to fight for something better.
[+] Street Smarts - Years of surviving on the streets of Kijimi sharpened Jin's instincts. He's cunning, adaptable, and quick to read a room. He understands how criminals think, how they move, and how to outplay them without ever drawing his blade.
[+] Skilled - Jin is a prodigious swordsman, honed through brutal street fights and refined in Jedi Temples. His lightsaber style blends traditional Jedi forms with unpredictable underworld grit and a fluid, almost dancer-like grace. Add to that his natural Force sensitivity and stealth mastery, and he's a force to be reckoned with.
WEAKNESSES
[-] Shadow - As a Jedi Shadow, Jin often works alone, deep undercover, or in moral gray zones. While effective, this isolation sometimes pulls him too far from the Jedi ideals of connection and trust. He hides too much—even from those who care about him.
[-] Underworld Raised - Jin knows the criminal world too well. He speaks their language, walks their walk—and sometimes, that past calls to him. His familiarity with violence and deception, while useful, can clash with the Jedi Code, and he's constantly fighting not to fall back into old ways.
[-] Former Gangster - Some Jedi don't trust him. His past affiliations with gangs and his ability to think like a criminal make him both an asset and a potential liability. He's constantly having to prove that he's changed—even to himself.

Specializations
The Persevering Path
Jin favors Form V for its raw power and dominance, but adapts it with clever precision rather than brute force. He uses Djem So for its strong counterattacks—perfect for turning an opponent's aggression against them. His style is aggressive but controlled, reflecting his resolve to overcome adversity.
The Way of the Hawk-Bat
Ataru is Jin's secondary form, used when he needs to rely on speed, agility, and acrobatics—particularly in tight urban combat or infiltration. His underworld background makes him comfortable fighting in alleys, rooftops, or narrow corridors, where Ataru's mobility becomes lethal.
Shadow Technique Adaptation
As a Jedi Shadow, Jin has developed a hybrid fighting style. He often begins with stealth—remaining unseen until the last second—then strikes with a blend of Ataru's speed and Djem So's brute countering. He doesn't waste movement. Every strike counts.
Stealth and Cloaking (Force Cloak)
Jin has mastered Force Cloak, allowing him to become nearly invisible to the naked eye and even to certain sensors. It's not perfect, but paired with natural stealth, he moves like a ghost through shadows—earning his codename.
Shadow Vision (Force Sight)
He can sense living beings through walls or complete darkness. Jin doesn't rely on sight alone. His intuition, honed in Kijimi's dark alleys and later sharpened through Jedi training, lets him "see" truths others miss.
Force Empathy
Growing up among the broken and desperate, Jin learned to read emotions instinctively. He uses Force Empathy to sense pain, deception, or fear—critical when dealing with criminals or identifying hidden threats.
Mind Trick / Misdirection
Not always a fighter, Jin is highly proficient in subtle Force persuasion. In the underworld, he often avoids confrontation entirely by planting false thoughts or creating distractions.
Battle Precognition
In combat, Jin moves just a beat ahead of his enemies. His instincts and the Force combine, allowing him to predict attacks and counter with near-supernatural timing.

THE STREETS OF KIJIMI – THE SURVIVOR
HISTORY
Born amidst the smog-choked alleyways and icy winds of Kijimi City, Jin Kimura never knew the warmth of a family hearth. His mother, a spice runner, died in a speeder crash during a smuggling run when he was just a toddler. His father—unknown, or perhaps a shadow himself—vanished long before Jin could remember. With no guardian, no safety net, and no choice, Jin grew up navigating the underworld's crooked veins that pulsed beneath Kijimi's cracked surface.
By age six, Jin was already running errands for local gang bosses, delivering spice, collecting credits, splicing into security systems or slipping blades into the ribs of those who owed debts. He was a ghost even then—quiet, quick, and hard to catch. Street rats whispered his name like a myth: "Jin-ki," the little shadow who always got away.
But there was more to Jin than speed and smarts. He knew things. Felt when trouble was near. Anticipated moves before they happened. When a rival syndicate tried to gun down his crew in a cantina ambush, it was Jin who pulled the boss to the floor seconds before the first blaster bolt carved through the air. Some called it luck. The wiser ones knew better. Something moved through him—something ancient.
THE UNDERWORLD – THE GHOST RISES
By age ten, Jin had carved a reputation. Not just as a runner, but a fighter. He trained in back alleys and frost-covered courtyards with discarded vibroblades, old holos of Echani duels, and lessons stolen from mercenaries passing through. His combat style was swift, brutal, and efficient—surgical like a Jedi, but far rougher around the edges.
He became an enforcer for the Takara Syndicate, a rising gang of spice traders and data thieves. Jin did jobs that left scars—not just on others, but on himself. He didn't kill for pleasure, but he didn't hesitate. Every night, he wandered the frozen streets alone, haunted by what he'd done and what he might become. He learned to slice, to hack into systems and explore the vast labyrinthine of digital change.
It was during one of these late-night walks, when a rival gang tried to abduct him to use his talents for themselves, that his hidden power exploded. In the middle of the ambush, time seemed to slow. His instincts flared, his body moved like liquid, and the air around him trembled. Without touching a single blaster, three of the attackers were slammed into the alley walls, unconscious. The fourth dropped his weapon and ran.
Jin stood in the cold rain, heart pounding, eyes glowing faintly in the dark.
DISCOVERY – THE JEDI ARRIVE
Word traveled fast, as it always did on Kijimi. A Force-sensitive in the underworld? That drew attention. Within a week, a Jedi seeker from the New Jedi Order arrived—Master Ryellen Voss, a Mirialan Jedi known for finding troubled prodigies.
She found Jin in a ruined temple, a place he went to escape the noise. She didn't ask questions at first. She simply sat, offered him warm tea, and waited.
He tried to run.
She let him go.
The next day, she was there again. And again. Eventually, Jin asked, "Why do you keep coming back?"
She answered, "Because I see what you're trying not to become."
That was enough.
At age 12, Jin Kimura left the only world he'd ever known.
THE TRANSFORMATION – FROM SHADOW TO LIGHT
Jin struggled to adapt. The Jedi Temple was structured, disciplined. Quiet. Nothing like Kijimi. But he excelled in combat, philosophy, and stealth. His street smarts gave him a cunning edge in war games and infiltration drills. He moved like a shadow, saw the angles others missed, and brought the fight before the enemy even knew it had begun.
Some Masters were wary. He asked too many questions. Trusted too little. Knew too much about pain.
But the Force called to him not with serenity—but with clarity. In the darkness, he found purpose. He wasn't meant to sit in libraries. He was meant to walk the thin line between light and shadow—to seek out corruption where it festered and root it out before it poisoned the galaxy.
That's why they made him a Jedi Shadow.
NOW – THE SHADOW KNOWN AS GHOST
Now in his late teens, Jin Kimura is a Jedi Padawan, a Shadow in training. Tall, poised, and deadly with a blade, he wears a robe styled after old Kijimi warrior monks—a nod to his past. He walks the path of the Ashla, but his eyes have seen the Bogan.
They call him Ghost because he strikes silently, disappears like mist, and leaves only whispers behind.
But to Jin, that name is more than a legend. It's a reminder.
That he was never supposed to survive.
That he did.
And that he'll never let the dark take anyone else the way it almost took him.
