OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
  • Intent: To sub a location where I can build secret Treatech's things in case I end up doing future RP stuff with the company
  • Canon: N/A
  • Permissions: I own Treatech >: )
  • Links: Namesake --> Jhiaxus
SETTING INFORMATION
  • Star System Name: Jhiaxus System
  • Region: Unknown Regions
  • Affiliation: Treatech/Mr. Janus/Nobody
  • Accessibility: Extremely difficult to find. A large uncharted black hole makes straying from the single nearby hyperlane (and thus discovering the system) very dangerous unless ship captains are aware of its presence, easy to traverse otherwise
  • Description: The secret home of Mr. Janus, the Jhiaxus system was discovered on accident after a science team was shunted out of hyperspace due to traveling to close to an uncharted black hole in the system.
SYSTEM INFORMATION
  • Size: Medium
  • Wealth: High
    • Treatech Secret Facilities
    • Various Mining/Resource Extraction Operations
  • Major Imports:
    • Various Raw/Manufactured Resources for Projects
  • Major Exports:
    • Luxury Metals
    • Clouzon-36
    • Raw Resources from mining operations
    • Treatech technology
  • Unexploited Resources:
    • N/A
  • Hyperlanes: Cressus Route
SOCIAL INFORMATION
  • Population: Sparse
    • A single planet in the Jhiaxus system containes a near-human population which Treatech has marked for observation but no interference/contact. Beyond this outlier, the only inhabitants are purrgil and Treatech employees
  • System Traffic: Insignificant
    • Due to the isolated location and lack of spacefaring civilizations, the only traffic comes from employed(!) smugglers, official and unofficial Treatech vessels, and hungry purrgil
  • Demographics:
    • Treatech employees
      • Variety of many different species
    • Primitive Twi'lek Population
  • Native Species:
    • Twi'lek
    • Purgill
  • Immigrated Species: N/A
    • Treatech employees
SYSTEM FEATURES
  • Jhaxius Prime: The primary sun/star of the Jhiaxus system, spews out valuable Clouzon-36 from its poles.
  • Jhaxius I: A small planet that orbits Jhaxius Prime, uninhabited but contains large deposits of Orichalc.
  • Horix: Large planet that orbits Jhaxius Prime, home to a native Twi'lek population. It is unknown how this population developed, possibly from an ancient forgotten or abandoned colony. Less likely is independent evolution, though scientists have noted it is not an impossibility, however improbable. The head shapes of these twi'leks are more standardized between the sexes, and their lekku tend to be shorter than average. They have a smaller range of coloring of their skin than what is usually seen in the galaxy, the majority are shades of purple, with some outliers having blue or red skin. Treatech scientists believe this is caused by generations worth of exposure to Jhiaxus Prime's unique emissions. Furthermore, Horixi Twi'leks are considered a Type 0.7 Civilization by Treatech scientists.
    • Horix I: Very small moon that orbits Horix, small gold deposits
    • Horix II: Medium sized moon that orbits Horix
    • Horix III: Medium sized moon that orbits Horix, appears signifigant to the Horixi Twi'lek culture
  • Crasis: Large planet with large deposits of gold and raw resources, uninhabited
  • Vessika: Large gas giant, mostly made of useless/nonvaluable gasses
  • Brelka I: Red dwarf star on the outskirts of the system
    • Brelka II: Small planet orbiting Brelka, uninhabited. Sports a Treatech shipyard.
    • Brekla III: Small planet far away from Brelka I, uninhabited but with moderate valuable resource deposits
  • Quintesson: Massive black hole that sits near the Cressus Route. Uncharted by most of the galaxy, but Treatech is aware of it's placement. Helps protect the secrecy of the Jhiaxus System by obliterating most ships that slam into it's mass shadow
    • Maximo: White dwarf star in the process of colliding with Quintesson
Treatech Resources
  1. Betrayer Moon: Enormous space station in the Jhiaxus system that contains Treatech's most secret projects
  2. Operation Flintlock: Codename for 3 major mining operations on Brekla III, Crasis, and Jhaxius I
  3. Freedom To: Smaller space station dedicated to scientific studies. Mostly orbits around Horix and the nearby moons
  4. Codename: Shadowcrash: Experimental technology used to deter unauthorized ships from entering the system

SECURITY
Maximum

  • Codename: Shadowcrash: Network of defensive space stations with experimental disabling technology used to deter unauthorized ships from entering the system
  • NULL Attachment: Treatech's naval presence in the known galaxy relies on light crusiers and frigates. Currently stationed in the Jhiaxus System, The NULL attachment is a corporate black fleet that takes direct orders from Mr. Janus.
  • The Betrayer Moon: Large space science station with stealth technology, advanced sensors, and heavy defenses

HISTORICAL INFORMATION

The Jhiaxus System's positioning in the unknown regions has led to it only recently being discovered, despite being a relatively old solar system. The Black Hole Quintesson sits close to a nearby hyperlane, typically not interfering with travel unless ships attempt to deviate from the charted course. Due to the already low number of ships traveling through the Cressus Route, the Jhiaxus system went unknown for a long time, as most ships that did stray from the route slammed into the mass shadow of Quintesson. When a lost Treatech science/exploration vessel reappeared, claiming to have discovered an isolated system, the company (under the direction of Mr. Janus) began exploring it. They found that it had high concentrations of valuable Clouzon-36, and began extraction operations quickly. Realizing the potential of a secret, uninhabited, wealthy sector, Mr. Janus personally oversaw the construction of Treatech facilities and space stations in the system. When a pre-spaceflight near human civilization was uncovered, it was him who ordered the no-contact decree. He claimed that this isolated group of people could become the first population in his vision for a grander universe, so he watches over them with paternal, but pernicious interest.
