Taking after his father, Jerick carries himself as though he were royalty. His back is almost always straight, his eyes seem to peer down at people even if they are taller, and the way he regards others could almost always be described as belittling. It is clear that Jerick holds himself in high regard, and this reflects in the way he appears to others. Many consider him to be stuck up simply because of the way he carries himself, others think him weak or pampered.
Of course these opinions are diametrically opposite of what he actually is, and once he enters the ring Jerick's appearance immediately takes on a far more fierce and even disheveled look. His slight but muscular form presents as a surprise to most, the scars that criss-cross his body being enough to shock most people who meet him.

Better than any of his siblings, Jerick has a great amount of pride in his ability to take on any opponent whether they be small or large. He is versed in a variety of martial arts, including those of various sects found across the galaxy. He is an incredibly analytical fighter, taking careful measure to watch and study his opponent even in the midst of a bout. Jerick is a match for most within the ring.
Like the other children Jerick was also well tutored while growing up under Natalia and Slevin. He is an incredibly smart young man and excels in games like Dejarik. The young man also has a talent for picking out a person weakness, something he acquired from his mother.

Despite this rather Abrasive quality, Jerick is actually quite protective of those he deems close. He is an incredibly gallant brother, protecting his siblings both physically and emotionally. He guards his family with an ardent loyalty, seeing to their needs even above his own.
Couple with this, Jerick also holds a competitive drive like no others. He is known among the siblings as never accepting defeat, though only in areas that he considers himself 'best' at. He will push and press until he gets his victory, getting up in a fight even when it is clear he's lost. Over the years this has earned him numerous scars and broken bones, but has also earned him the respect of more than a few.

Of course, he's also never really been one for blasters.
Though Emma and others have tried to teach him, Jerick isn't really all that prepared when it comes to ranged combat. Though he carries a pistol, he really doesn't like using it all that much. If one is capable of staying away from Jerick in a fight, it's most likely he'll lose simply because he can't reach.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Jerick was one of the first children taken by Slevin and Natalia Thawne.
Briefly, after their escape from the laboratory, Slevin and Natalia took a small trip into the Hapes Consortium. This 'vacation' as they called it was a slice of experience that they had been aching for. They moved through the lesser known worlds of the Consortium, bouncing from palace to palace and slaughtering whatever occupants they could find inside.
They lived the rich life, taking on the guise of nobles and moving through Hapan Society with a fluid grace. The two Crime Lords bounced around, simply taking what they wanted and chasing a life that they had only dreamed of during their experiences. This vacation lasted for two weeks, with Slevin eventually growing bored of the beautiful people of Hapes. It was at his urging that Natalia and he brought the trip to an end.
At the final palace however they discovered something unexpected, a small child who had hidden himself away within a closet.
It was Natalia's urging this time that brought her beloved around, big doe eyes and a whispered word pushing Slevin to agree to taking the child with them. This boy would eventually become Jerick Thawne.
His upbringing was slightly off from that of his siblings though not entirely different. Since he was the first of Natalia and Slevin's 'children' he bore the brunt of their expectations for some time. It was this that shaped Jerick's personality, pushing him into becoming the competitive and abrasive young man that he now is. Under Slevin and Natalia's guidance Jerick learned quickly, pushing himself and always taking the extra step to ensure that he held his parents pride.
When his other siblings came along Jerick saw them not as competition, but a family to protect.
The young man became an older brother to the others, helping to raise and teach them alongside his parents.
Unlike the others, Jerick has had a hand within the dealings of the Coratanni Cartel from a relatively young age. It was during this time that Jerick began to take part in the fights held at the club at times. He trained and worked with the fighters brought on by Natalia and Slevin, learning from them and taking on their styles.
These talents eventually lead him to training with some of Coratanni's more Elite soldiers, giving the young man even more of a presence and better tutelage in various martial arts.
It was these skills that earned Jerick control of Coratanni's underground fighting operations, a business that he was more than suited to.
