DAUGHTER OF DATHOMIR
Jenmae was like any other child born to a coven of Dathomir. She was reared to commune with the Spirits, and so from a time beyond her remembering she was taught to speak to, and work with, those beyond the realms of the living. It was simple enough for her to pick it up, and by the time she was old enough to be playing games of make-believe and braiding hair with the other children, instead she found herself thrown into her studies, and questioning why it was that they needed to work in tandem with the Spirits.
Always she pushed the boundaries of what was culturally acceptable of her tribe; pushing the Spirits beyond what they would consent to provide her, perverting their purpose and using what was freely given to do magicks that were forbidden for children, and eventually escalating to magicks that were forbidden to anyone. It came to a head when the White Witch, not even 14 years of age, used some magick she'd been taught that was meant to allow her to impress upon another's mind to help ease their anxieties and fears - instead forcing her way into the mind of the matriarch of their coven while she slept and visiting upon her nightmares that drove the woman mad.
The Sisters were furious, and though her mother pleaded on her behalf, the young witch was cast out, and forced to leave her family behind. Though still a child in truth, the horror of being alone didn't seem to phase the girl - instead necessitating the escalation to even further depravity.
TRAVELING FAR
The girl traveled from Dathomir south, into the core systems, using the tricks she'd taught herself to separate weaker minds from their wealth and belongings. Though as time went on, she was able to force her way into the minds of those much more guarded than women asleep in their beds, or deep in their cups. Instead she found it simple enough to slip up behind a set of men on guard duty at one of the quiet cantinas she frequented, and upon snaking her way into one of their heads, turning one man against the other until one or both had fallen.
What she had once been used for survival had become a tool used for amusement - or at times a simple, albeit bloody, way to pass the time.
It was this behavior; the wanton death of innocents, and the touches of madness she left behind in the minds of those unlucky enough to be left alive, that garnered her the attention of a young Sith lord. Not yet a massive power herself, the woman recognized the talent in the child and took it upon herself to nurture what she hoped would become a pry-bar that she might use to enter the minds of her enemies.
The Sith tutored the young witch, taught her all she knew about how to slip into the minds of her victims unnoticed (or at times, like a wrecking ball). Taught her how to steal what she wanted without being noticed (or to rip it out, like a deeply rooted plant, taking much of the soil with it). Taught her how to carefully pull at the strings of the mind until it unwound and fell open like a book to be read (or spilled upon the floor like a satchel with it's seams cut). To repay the woman, the Witch used all the tricks she'd been taught upon her teacher, and left the woman a broken thing.
FINDING HER FUTURE
Travelling further still, Jenmae found the planet of Cularin, a tropical paradise on the edge of Confederacy space. Setting herself up with a simple residence there, the Witch began to collect the tools she would need to further her mastery of magicks outside of the mind. For years the girl grew in knowledge and strength, travelling where she would inside of the CIS's territory as she collected tomes and ingredients to practice her art.
It was on one such trip, some 6 years after making her home on Cularin, that she met a young boy by the name of [member="Seren"]. Taking pity on the wounded boy she returned with him to Cularin, intending to use the little wolf, proclaimed younger brother to the Nightmother of the CIS's contingent of magick users.
However, in the weeks that followed, the boy was lost to her - replaced instead with a version of the Wolf that had returned to her from a distant future. This man knew of a great darkness that they had visited first upon Cularin, and then upon the galaxy, the culmination of which had killed the White Witch, and had sent Seren back to her here, to this time, to try to avoid what was to come.
Thinking beyond what the Witch she would one day become had planned, Jenmae used the knowledge that her new paramour returned with, and instead brought together the means for a ritual that would see them both brought to their previous power without the delay of few dozen years. Casting herself from her body, the Witch ventured into the Netherworld, and left an empty vessel behind, one she made ready for the version of herself that had been lost to the Wolf in his time.
TODAY
The Witch and her Wolf have stepped back through the annals of time, and they have a plan to visit upon this present day the horrors that previously took them a lifetime to create. Though now, with the gift of time, and the grace of precognition, the pair intend to make quick work of collecting The Nine, and bringing about the end of peace in the galaxy.
