Jedi Search: Tashra "Arach" Tert.

The Jedi of Yutan were gaining traction, the renewed Jedi Temple having recently played host to a Conclave (Meeting) of other Jedi had drawn in an encouraging number of members seeking to support Veiere's desire to see the Order return to it's old ways, to humble itself and dig deep into the old teachings of the Jedi Code that they might find their identity once more, freeing themselves from the lure of the Darkside of the Force. Politics within the temple had no become a thing of the past, their people were seeking the guidance in meditation and the will of the Force first and foremost in order to feel what it was that they would be led to believe be the rightful path in service to the galaxy, life in all forms and thus the nature of the Force itself.

Though they remained elusive of the Senate, [member="Lady Kay"] had contacts that could help Veiere in ways that kept him from contradicting his wish for the Jedi. As Supreme Chancellor and in the only significance to Veiere's mind, his beloved wife, she had reached out to see what rumors were drifting about the various channels of the public. Force Users in the galaxy were often a topic of controversy, either positive or utterly fearful of such people for the power that they could wield if left unrestrained in their emotional outlets, she had heard whisper of a certain group of young individuals upon the world of Apatros. Taking personal transport with the company of Terrac, the old man was more than eager to leave behind the world of Commenor, to venture alongside Veiere, the barely younger than he Jedi Master of whom often spent a good hour arguing philosophies together in good friendly banter.

Thus far the desert world however had not provided Veiere with the hope that he had come looking for. He had visited various villages now and talked with all the supposed recruits for the Order only to be quietly disappointed in their lack of force sensitivity. With one last destination on his list, Veiere returned to the The Commenori Pheonix and had Terrac take them to the final settlement, the world of Apatros holding something of a cloud over Veiere's sub-conscious, though he would struggle to pin-point the source, escaping his knowledge, the world was after all the former homeworld of one Darth Bane and held a significant residual presence in the air. If there was to be a force sensitive here among the local populace then perhaps the person in question would harbor the potential to truly do well in the galaxy...-Or ultimately fall into the path of ease and self-fulfillment.

Her head rang and she stumbled back, one hand were she had been hit. "The Jedi and sith are the same!" Was shouted from the angry mouth of the drunkard Tashra was in a fight with. "They aren't!" She shouted back and grounded the man with a strong hay maker to his jaw. One might ask why Tashra was in this fight with a small group of drunkards and those that knew her would simply raise their shoulders and say it's what she does, this time though it was a little different. She had been with her friend and the topic had turned to the force users in the galaxy and their differences, Tashra speaking of the merits of the jedi while her friend condemning the actions of sith and not seeing much of a distinction between the two. The drunkard on the floor and his two friends had wondered in and began shouting and pushing the two girls around, thinking that Tashra and her friend were pushovers, not thinking that the baggy clothing Tashra usually wore hid her powerful physique.

With a bloody spit to the side she looked at the other two and gave them the 'come on' gesture. Sufficed to say the two didn't really stand after the brawl, them being out of shape drunks and Tashra being someone that actively worked her body into peak form and worked the mines. With a bruised cut on her chin she pulled up her hood and dragged the drunks out so the fresh air might sober them up a little. After that she walked down the main road with her friend, continuing their conversation from before, before looking up and seeing the vessel shoot by overhead.
With curiosity painted on their faces they began to make their way towards the space port to find out what was going on.

His presence upon Apatros wasn't intended to spark such an interest from the locals though it seemed as though his reputation proceeded him, somehow rumor must have gotten around that the King of Commenor was visiting the foreign nation, though it came much to his dismay, he'd not wanted any such a welcome but simply to slip and and out as non-conspicuously as possible; alas such was the price that he paid for being married to his wife, she of whom seat at the seat of power within the Commenor Systems Alliance.

Moving down the boarding ramp of his vessel, he stepped out into the docking yard to be greeted by an envoy of the locals, the upper hierarchy in charge of governing the settlement having wished to meet him in person, greeted him with a smile and introduced Veiere to the village just as the others had before him. As politely as possible, Veiere dealt with the formalities with the best of manner as he could give before suggesting that he would like to take the time to wander the area on his own. It didn't seem to flatter the people all too well, now questioning his reason for being there perhaps having formerly suspected this was a meeting of political nature, Veiere bore through it all with a smile and instead asked of a name. One 'Tashra Tert' as had been suggested to be the last person on his list of possible force sensitives on the planet, to the knowledge of his wife's contacts. Being pointed off in the direction of the females homestead, Veiere was glad to be rid of the greeting party. As much as he loved his wife and was proud of all that they had accomplished together through Commenor, his place in life was with the Jedi Order and being such a high profile person of interest in the way of galactic politics didn't often go in his favor like you might expect. Quite the opposite, he held little trust for politicians and though politics were absolutely necessary for the benefit of the galaxy and the pursuit of democracy, the Jedi had no place delving into such affairs.

Departing the hanger, Veiere stepped out into the street, pulling his hood back from atop his head to breath in the warm air and the many scents and smells of the city life here on Apatros. Every visit came with new experiences and every experience was a moment to be enjoyed and appreciated for what the Force brought to life in the galaxy. He was glad to be on this world, it was his first time visiting and despite the urgency of his visit, he would make certain to appreciate the good things that he had in life, the ability to travel and engage in other cultures, visiting worlds that some weren't as fortunate to do so. He was a man with a warm heart, an admiration for all life and a gentle giant so to speak; he wasn't out spoken or aggressive in the things that he sought to accomplish but rather a man of faith in the force, that whatever struggles or hurdles would begrudge him, he believed in the will of the Force and that it would show him down the path meant for him. His current path? Tracking down the home of this youth and meeting with her parents to discuss the potential life that she might be eligible for.

After waiting a little outside the space port as the Village envoy met with [member="Veiere Arenais"], Tarsha and her friend grew a little bored of waiting and left. Continuing their conversation that moved on to their knowledge of the sith and jedi histories which wasn't all that much but they had a little fun playing a little like children would with two sticks against one another. All the while laughing and smiling widely until they split up and Tashra headed home, skipping through a few alleys on the way as shortcuts.

As she came home she undid the belt on her hips and placed her blood sword near the door as she went to cook herself something to eat. Her younger brother came barreling in with a few of his friends, all fresh faced and snot nosed with large smiles on their faces. "We saw a JEDI!" They cried in happiness as they then began to pester Tashra to make them something to eat as she quizzed them on what or whom they had seen. The sound in the kitchen drowned out the sound of her mother going to answer the door when someone rang the announcer. To Tashra's relief her father came in and picked her brother up and over his shoulders and had the little rapscallions follow after him to let her finish cooking in peace. "Saw a Jedi" she chuckled. "Like that would ever happen on this backwater." She mused to herself as she finished making the scrambled eggs and cube cut nerf stakes for herself and the family. Though she froze as she stood there holding the pot when her mother showed in the guest asking for her.

Veiere Arenais was politely welcomed into their home, a rather humbled housing within the settlement, he was gladdened by their greeting and warmth in greeting, offering the parents both a formal bow followed by a kind smile and an exchange of gestures towards their home and their home-world itself; Veiere expressing his gratitude for how their world had received him and soon delving into the reason as to why he was there. "I have come from the world of Yutan, a place where the Jedi Order has renewed it's valor and has begun to reach out to other worlds in the hope that we may find potential students to join with us and learn of our ways. Forgive me for how sudden this will seem but I've been led to believe you have a Daughter. Tashra's recent medical profile suggests that she may be a promising candidate among others of your people and with your consent, I would very much like to speak with her about the opportunity in returning with me to Yutan...".

Veiere paused, allowing the girls parents to offer up their initial responses, Veiere smiling warily as he felt sympathetic for the rather shocking revelation as to his visiting them, adding as if to seek to reassure them both "Such a decision would of course be for you all to discuss were Tashra to consider it and I will remain as long as I need to be here until you are all certain...". And then as if on queue, [member="Tashra"] herself appeared within the door way looking back at Veiere seemingly dumbstruck. Had she heard their conversation? Her look of surprise and alarm seemed to suggest as much. "Greetings, young one" Veiere smiled warmly to her, offering a slight dip of his head in a sideways nod hoping to appease to the casual nature of younger people these days.

Had to clear her throat as she went back to put the pot down on the table and composed herself a little, seeing her brother and here friend stand there with an awestruck expression on their faces. "The.. jedi.." Her brother said which just seemed to cement the situation with in her mind.
Slowly she combed her head back over her head with her fingers and made herself a little presentable before leaving towards the living room were [member="Veiere Arenais"] was. As she looked at him she had to admit he did resemble what the stories said of how jedi looked at least. "Is this because I'm a cernun?" She finally asked as her parents had begun talking with Veiere about what it would mean for their daughter to become a jedi of the new order. The cernun while not know exactly through the galaxy were a force sensetive species so it wasn't that hard to see members of them inside the jedi or sith orders, or any force using order for that matter.

Tashra was still quite baffled over the news as she and her family hid that they were force sensitives due to the reputation they had garnered over the past decades. As such though they were a family of force sensitives they all seemed to almost hide their force sensitivity by instinct alone.

Turning again to look to [member="Tashra"] as she asked about her race being the possible reason as to Veiere's visit, he didn't honestly know what circumstance had led to his wife's contacts having tracked her down as a potential candidate for Force Sensitivity.

"I'm not certain what it was but that prompted others to point me in this direction though if you're people are known for being proficient in the use of the Force then perhaps that could be the answer, otherwise I would have to assume you've had blood work done at some stage over the previous years, something to give sign as to a Midi-chlorian count, something that we use to determine potential students of the Order. Those with a high count of these natural bodies within the blood are often able to connect to the Force much more so than someone without..." He spoke slowly and clearly so that she might not find to much difficulty in following what he was saying, often those younger seemed to struggle with the scientific side behind Force Sensitivity, the fact that their blood cells might differ from others and how that came to be within them were often questioned when first met with Jedi recruiters.

"Perhaps you might have noticed times where your course for action is unusually clear, like a sixth sense so to speak, you reactions often feel guided by something or perhaps you find yourself in the presence of something larger then your own, inexplicable and yet warm and comforting" Veiere chuckled softly, waving a hand dismissively, "There are many unusual occurances students have talked about during the years before they were enlightened to the path before them. Perhaps you would have stories to share should you decide to pursue your path with the Order".

She had to wonder on [member="Veiere Arenais"]'s words as she thought on a future within the order. "What paths would be available to her?" Her mother chimed in as she seemed quite concerned. "Aren't jedi battlefield commanders and as close to warlords as they've ever been since the old days of the galactic republic?" She then asked with quite a stern look at Veiere. Tashra looked a little embarrassed at her mother as her father came in as well, when not taking in Tashra's brother into account the entire family was quite fit and toned given that they all worked in the mines, though Tashra was the more muscular of them as she also had quite a few athletic hobbies.

"M-Mom!" She let out as she heard her mom begin to bombard Veiere with a series of questions about the living conditions and the like within the order. Her father seemed to simply find enjoyment his wife wasn't nagging him.

Veiere smiled in understanding to [member="Tashra"]'s mothers concerns, glancing to her father with the assumption that he too shared them, he began to explain "The Jedi Path that I represent is one of learning and service to the Galaxy. Tashra would be invited to live with us at the Temple upon Yutan, there she would study the many aspects and mysteries of the Force, to train to become a gifted Jedi, well capable before she joins the others in taking part in outside affairs...". The training of students was paramount within the Order and only when they were deemed capable of defending themselves and representing the integrity of the Jedi Order were they allowed to take up in active duty for the good of societies outside of their infrastructure.

Pausing, he gave consideration the presumption that her mother had given towards the Jedi being similar to warlords and Militant Commanders, something truly sad in his opinion that the Jedi image had been marred so much; these people however did not share the insight that he held and could only be left to guess upon the back of rumors and opinions from outside of the Order. "Rest assured, I can tell you in all honesty that violence is not something we condone. Our service to the galaxy is to bring aid to the people, not conflict. It is true that there are many Jedi out there that seek a more proactive approach to war, yet they are not within our Order. They follow in various other government regimes and always, Tashra will have the choice to follow her heart and conscience. So too will it be my responsibility to see that she doesn't follow down that same path for it's one that I feel does our people a great injustice".

Tashra was almost hidden in her jacket as her mother seemed to simply scrutinize [member="Veiere Arenais"] words with her eyes. "S-so anyway, how long would it take for me to become a jedi knight?" She asked as she shooed her parents out of the living room, pleading with them to take care of her brother and his friend given that they had simply stood in the doorway and stared shortly after she had arrived in the room. "Is it really that dangerous to be a jedi these days? I mean the original isn't around anymore and there are so many of them now... Wasn't one no better than the sith?" She then asked as her hesitance and actual misgivings came to light over what she had heard about the jedi and force users

Veiere watched with a sympathetic smirk as [member="Tashra"] shooed her parents out of the room in want to speak with Veiere in private, clearly feeling embarrassed by her mothers wish to understand what was being offered though in truth their reaction was more than justified as they were possibly losing their child to what were little more than strangers to them. Bowing his head to the parents with respect, he soon turned to look upon the girl who seemed to break out immediately with questions of her own, to which he simply chuckled quietly under his breath. "Many years of practice, study and dedication to training I'm afraid young one. The path to becoming a Jedi Knight is a long process and one we commit our lives to serving the people of the Galaxy and the Force itself..." he smiled none the less, it was a long life and held it's many challenges but behind it all, Veiere was devoted to nothing less, it was the life for him and one that he took great pride in being able to bring some good to the lives of others.

"The original Jedi that you speak of is a state of mind and heart, a declaration of faith and service to the force sadly these days compared to the organization that it once stood as and represented Jedi across the Galaxy in what it meant to follow the Path. I'm afraid you're right to a point in that there are many Jedi now following various paths they believe is best for their pursuits and the good of the Galaxy but I'm going to be honest with you and say that yes, we no longer hold the unity that we once did...-It is my hope however that with time and great perseverance, that might one day change" He reluctantly spoke as much to Tashra, he was not one to lie or to sugarcoat the truth to others yet to come looking for Jedi and confirm the vulnerability that the Order was in these days, it contradicted his mission to some degree. It was however a priority that those looking to join the Order knew what they were to expect upon being given the choice and therefore deciding for themselves based upon the truth and not a dream. "The Order that I represent is seeking to re-establish the values that the Jedi once followed in the former days where the Code was a strong representation of integrity and moral fiber within our practice and service to the galaxy. We are looking for prospective students that are willing to join us, to train in the ways of the Force and to one day pass these learnings on to others...-Today I would offer you this opportunity, yet you must discuss it too with your family and be certain of your decision. I will answer all your questions, you need but only ask".

As she listened to [member="Veiere Arenais"] her expression showed that it half way contradicted everything she had heard of the jedi and what they stood for. Though she had figured that some of her misconceptions and what she had heard of the jedi would be false or simply rumor. "Are there any practical paths in the order? Like different types of jedi?" She then asked after a moment of reflection.

"Practical paths of the Jedi..." Veiere nodded almost reluctantly, "There are though many people seem to follow their own blend of the three nowadays". He had been brought up in one such path long ago, the way of the Consular and a Scholar of the Force, focusing not on the way of combat though training enough to become skilled none the less, his abilities and focus was on the Force and philosophies of the Order. Perhaps had he remained with the Enclave of Svivren and it having not been attacked by the One Sith then he might have gone on further to specialize as a Jedi Sage yet his path and the Will of the Force had led him elsewhere.

"The Path of the Jedi Consular, to focus on the learnings of the Force. It is arguably a more pacifist route to take within the Order compared to the other two, we study and take an invested interest in the Jedi Teachings, the Force and ideologies that we may find enlightenment and pass our knowledge forward to others", Veiere gestured to himself as if to suggest that this was indeed the path he had chosen and the one he had been mentored down by his Master many years ago.

"The Path of the Jedi Guardian, a Warden of the Force and of the Jedi Order extensively trained in the Saber Arts and the Force to combat and defend whatever threat to peace and prosperity in life and the Force they would come across. Not to be mistaken with Soldiers of government but our stewards of defense, it has often been the Guardian that stands between those who would oppose us", Since Veiere's exile and eventual return to the Republic now since passed, others had mistaken him to have taken this path due to his willingness to support and jump into conflict for the sake of others. When it came down to it, all Jedi felt the call of the Force and the wish to protect those from harm, yet when it came to combat, Veiere was always reluctant, a pacifist at heart and one to avoid taking a life at all costs, his saber skills failed in comparison to masters of this Path.

"The Path of the Jedi Sentinel, one who explores the relationship between the Force and Technologies of our Galaxy. From this path we see many Jedi branching out to specialize in various aspects of training from infiltration and the manipulation of security, slicing if you will, to general mechanics and often responsible for the maintenance of our Temple and Enclaves. In some ways, they too blend the previous two paths giving them a variety of skills yet often specializing in none. Truth be told, this path is what the individual makes of it" there was always potential in this path though Veiere personally struggled with most technology. It had taken him years to get used to spaceflight as necessary as it was, he still had a pilot of his own who was a far better fit to transport him around safely. Veiere's skills were far from optimal and his frustration when it came to such things was often shown.

[member="Tashra"]

She thought on this and had listened with intent on his explanations on the paths available to jedi in the order. She had to admit that the guardian path felt sort of like what she might enjoy but there was something about the path of the sentinel and how it seemed so versatile that called to her. "Is there a way to integrate the philosophies of the consular path with the one of the sentinels?" She asked as she had offered [member="Veiere Arenais"] a seat on one of the chairs in the living room and she took the one in front of him.
Her expression was one of someone eager to learn and know more.

The three branches of structured training had been encouraged with far more dedication in the Old Republic than they were in the New Jedi Order under the teachings of Grandmaster Skywalker, these days they were almost entirely forgotten save for a way to sum up more the individual preference a Jedi took to training these days yet they were too a habit of practice that Veiere himself couldn't shake, in fact he himself honored the Consular path while having time in and time out taken steps closer to that of the Jedi Guardian in his pursuit of justice in the galaxy where he could help it. The question that [member="Tashra"] therefore posed was of course possible and as an individual she would be encouraged to follow down a path of training that most called to her.

"That will be very much up to you, you need not focus solely on one though these are the practices of old for which I personally will teach to some, from the position of a Consular to those aspiring to be the same. No one will be restricted to any one subject of direction however, whatever skills you can learn and ideologies you pick up that aid in your becoming a gifted and prominent Jedi Knight one day will be considered a great benefit to the Galaxy all the same".

She smiled as she heard that and her eagerness shone a little in that smile. "How would I live? Will I ever be able to come back here to see my family? When would I make a lightsaber? How do you learn to fight with a lightsaber? How do you make a lightsaber for that mater?" A series of questions came flooding from her lips as she leaned a little forwards and she didn't stop with similar questions ranging from what she'd have when it came to food, how her quarters would be like and then delving more into things associated to jedi such as force use and different powers as well as lightsabers ect.
She only stopped when she heard her fathers chuckle from the other room and realized she had done the same as her mother, realizing this she blushed heavily and drew back a little allowing [member="Veiere Arenais"] to answer or chime in at least.

Veiere laughed softly, studying the girl as she spouted off question after question with keen enthusiasm and excitement that only a youth of her age could portray. Veiere himself hadn't shown such juvenile energy in years yet he never stopped appreciating the yearning for life and experience that they held. "The creation of a lightsaber is an important step in every students path. One that their mentor would oversee is most cases, that or those in charge of the Order who would want to observe for the sake of your safety. The lightsaber is an important symbol but in the wrong hands, a dangerous weapon and thus, that time will only come when you're ready and mature enough for the responsibility".

"As far as living goes, you would share residence with the rest of the Jedi Order within the temple on Yutan. Training would be your first priority and study of the Force that you can become capable in it's practice and eventually be taken on as an apprentice under the wing of a mentor that would see you be given duties outside of the temple grounds, off-world visiting other places and cultures as you help them in whatever needs they require of us. The Jedi path is one of exploration and service to the people. In doing so, we serve the Force by preserving life itself, that of which connects the force to all others as it encompasses the entire galaxy".

[member="Tashra"]

Her golden yellow eyes were wide with amazement as she listened to [member="Veiere Arenais"] answer her questions and she seemed intent on joining the order. Then it dawned a little on her that he hadn't answered one of her most pressing questions and she looked over her shoulder at her parents as they were sussing her brother and his friend with the food she had made for them. Looking back her glowing eyes of excitement seemed to have done and entire one eighty as she seemed more nervous and almost solemn as she asked again. "Will I ever see my family again?" She asked as she had been looking down on the floor before asking and then slowly pulled her eyes up to look Straight into Veiere's eyes.

To her, family was important besides her blood sword it was her most precious objects of affection she had in her, almost in a way of being her only real possessions in the squalid life on the mining world. She of course didn't think of her family as possesions but they were the most important thing to her, the thought of never seeing them again chilled her to her core and almost threatened to break her resolve to become a jedi completely.

Personal attachments were once forbidden by the Jedi long before the present day, something that Veiere himself did not agree with providing that their students were monitored closely by the Jedi Knights and Masters that would mentor and guide them until they were at an age and stage of training and experience where they could safely determine for themselves what was best while adhering to their Jedi Path. To answer [member="Tashra"], his response might not have been what she'd expect though there was too a certain apprehension in his voice as he cautioned the words. "That will be for you to decide in the end. You will spend many years away from them, yet as you grow and learn to follow the path set before you, we will not keep you from your family. You will decide how much time you spend with them and how often. Just be mindful of your commitments to the Order should you decide to come with me to Yutan. Personal attachments are a part of every individuals life, yet so too can they lead you astray...".

Glancing beyond that of Tashra, he considered her parents and as often Jedi were forced to do, he had to question how both the girl and her folks would handle such a transition. Would they be pleased of her decision were she to commit to the Order or did they lack the faith that few had in the Jedi these days. "I will not be leaving immediately so you have some time to discuss things with your family. I've no desire to pressure you into making a decision right now...-Though I can only remain here for two or three days before needing to move on. The others are expecting me back within the Temple".

She nodded with a reserved look on her face, though there was still the nervous tick of biting into her lower lip lightly as she gestured to guide [member="Veiere Arenais"] out of the house. At the front door she hugged him from behind and spoke softly, only loud enough so he could hear. "Even if I might say no after a day, I thank you for simply offering me this chance." She said with a soft voice before leaning back and closing the door behind him. As she leaned at the door she gave out a heavy sigh, without realizing it the force signature she had been unconsciously suppressing flared out like a volcano erupting from a quiet hill. The relaxing sense of cutting loose and how the force suddenly wrapped itself around her made her feel at ease though her father came running out of the kitchen to see the sudden flare of force energy.
His stern look caused Tashra to be a bit taken aback and she unconsciously suppressed her force signature once more. She didn't know how her father always knew when their force signatures flared up but he always had the hard expression on his face when he did which scared her a little, she had seen a glimpse of it when Veiere had his back turned to him. A look of someone that wasn't her father but of someone that had seen things not meant for the eyes of normal people like her mother and brother.

It had been a while after dinner that she put away the weights in the part of her room she had converted into a personal gym for herself. The soft knock at the door indicated her father coming in and she had put the weights away, a towel draped over her shoulders allowed her to wipe a bit of the sweat on her brow. "What is it dad?" She asked as she saw the stern look on his face as he walked into the room, his clothes weren't those he usually had on but rather it seemed almost like something a tank top robe that fit his imposing physical form and almost seemed to enhance it in it's own way. "I have something to tell you Tashra... and it is something I hoped I wouldn't have to tell you about our family but with the jedi coming here I guess I'm forced to." He said as he took out a small cylinder from some sort of pouch from behind his back, two to be exact, then he ignited them. One red and the other blue. "I've been both jedi and sith and unlike most of our species I'm older than the even the gulag plague that ravaged the galaxy a thousand years ago, this isn't even my first body." He said with a stern look and his left eye flashed the yellow color of sith eyes for a moment. "You don't have to worry the previous occupant of this body was my own son, he suffered an accident that left his mind dead and this was the only way to keep our family line going. I know the horrors that both sides can wreak on the galaxy and I want you to know that when you leave this house you can always return here." He said with a soft smile as he turned off his sabers and leaned in to hug his daughter as a father should.
"D-dad?! Your a force user! And my grandfather?!" She barely let out as her father almost crushed her in his arms. "I always knew you or your brother might follow in my footsteps and I'm glad it was you, my little hellion. I was afraid with your brothers kind heart the galaxy might destroy him. You on the other hand are as tough as your father, so do me a favor and chew it up and spit it out like a proper Tert would." He said with a wide smile on his face as he gently put his closed fist to her chin and simulated a punching motion.

With that scene in her head she sat on a crate in the same hangar as the cammenori phoenix, overlooking the main hangar floor. She wore the same robes her father had worn that night two days ago. the hood covering almost covering her head as her horns jutted out of the holes in the hood. It was decidedly not sith and neither was it jedi it seemed to be more along the lines of a mix between the je'daii of old and the jensaarai orders.
In her hand was a ring from her father and the words he had said accompanying it rang in her head. "If anything happens always know this will guide you home." it was a very ordinary ring though it was large and took up a third of of her middle finger, two rows of spinners adorned it and she absentmindedly spun them with her thumbs.
She had asked her father if she could have one of his lightsabers but he had told her that they were only intended for the head of the Tert family, so she'd have to earn them by beating him one day. "Chit, like I could ever do that with your second body in the prime of two hundred years and over a thousand years of experience... old farts making fun of me damn it." She spat in annoyance though in a low voice, her father had never been this cryptic before and it was getting on her nerves. She knew that in one on one simple strength competition she could win though she was now suspecting it was simply an act on his part.
There she sat waiting for Veiere, her answer burning on her lips as she had one of her legs on top of the crate, though she wore the robes over her upper body she wore formfitting yet somehow loose cargo pants and calf high boots on her lower half. Her belt buckle held an old symbol of the order her father had belonged to, all but extinguished in the galaxy now.
