Jedi Mind Tricks (PM for invite)

Hearing this Nasika answered "Then....perhaps it was his destiny. Think of it. A man who has the knowledge of a doctor but has become a merchant. Merhcants travel, and in that travel he may find someone who is suffering a sickness or injury that only a doctor can help with. Not one ear enough he could be the only one to help save a life. Don't you see? Sometimes things occur for a reason, such is the mysterious ways of the force." She looked back to @[member="Arrol Balloch"] and asked "Right?"

A slight smile crossed his face as he remained silent listening to the two trading opinions. "Consider this for a moment", he paused to gather his words. "Firstly, as far as I am concerned, we fight the dark side the moment we are conceived. Most beings possess the innate quality of doing .. ", he did not wish to use the word evil ... " ... bad deeds".

"It is the fight against that, that all of us battle against every day, the smallest of deeds no matter have insignificant they may appear at the time, eat away at us and take away a small part of good. Now this may in time .. not turn anyone to the dark side, but if one continues to indulge in such activity then yes eventually it will win".

"Secondly, as mortals and members of society, what ever race or culture that may be .. there are social constraints or .. requirements that we live by in order to be effective within that culture etc... as individuals, we choose to act the way we do. We choose a path in which to take, we can decide to do good or bad. The Force has you know has powers within both ends of the spectrum. They are equal. What the Sith fail to realise is that the light side of the force is just as powerful and the dark side, they consider it weak, it is the way in which one employs it that makes a being strong with either light or dark. But tell me Vexander, do you think that by eradication of the dark side the force is truly in balance?", This was going to be an interesting answer, as Arrol has his own opinions on this and they are not what most Jedi would believe. He was the knowledge .. in death .. that they do not have in life.

Vexander pondered for a moment at the question. Such debate was one of the discussions that have been wondering around for millenia. Many Jedi and Gray Jedi had different views, and different ideas about it, nevertheless; the Knight was sure about one thing.

Even while he stroke his beard, he decided to share what he thought "I definetely do Master Balloch." For a moment, he looked at the lake close to the gardens before ellaborating further "If there were no sentient beings in the galaxy, the Force would be in balance... it would flow in all living things and it will wander each planet and will fill it with is power... it would invigorate all things..." Vexander looked at the sky and allowed the Force to touch him like if it was a refreshing breeze "...sentient beings might tap into the Force and still, it wouldn't affect the balance in nature nor in the enviroment... however, the darkside corrupts such enviroment and those who use it not only corrupt themselves but they also spread suffering, violence, greed..." Looking back at the ones present he finally gave a conclusion "...that is why we should end the darkside... some say that there cannot be light without dark... but for me that is misleading and incorrect..."

Hearing @[member="Vexander Graves"] say how there can be no dark without light made Nasika begin to feel a bit of sympathy, for that was how she felt. But when he said they should eradicate the darkness she shook her head.

"I cannot say I agree, sir." she said, with a bit of a timid tone. "Darkness is needed just as much as light. If....if the world were nothing but light then there would be no meaning to it. And light would just be a regular, uninteresting and unneeded thing. But with darkness comes a purpose, or rather counter purpose. One needs the other no matter how much it might seem like they don't. But the Sith and the Jedi are just two sides of the same coin. Darkness it not evil, it's just misused."

She took a moment t regain herself after saying that, as it took a lot of courage for her to say that in front of a knight and a ghost of a Master Jedi.

"If there were no sentient beings in the galaxy, the Force would be in balance... " The words of Vexander.

"Darkness is needed just as much as light" the words of Nasika.

"Curious indeed", the words of Arrol.

It is a curious thing, the Force. A journey long ago, had seen Arrol hold the similar views, however now that he sits in front of them, a part of the Force, he knows the truth. However, if they ask him the question, he will deny them the answer, as it is not his duty or will to provide them with it. There journey has only just began and so, they must travel their paths to enlightenment and one day, when they become one with the Force .. they too will know the truth of it.

Arrol did have words to speak to Vexander. "My young friend, we have talked about the fact that all of us, well you now, strive to fight against the dark side every day, that is dwells within us all .. correct? if by your reckoning .. you would have us all sentient beings eradicated? in order to balance the Force? I do not require an answer to these questions, I only ask you to be mindful of your passion for this. The light side is just as corrupting .. if taken to the extreme as the dark side".

He had to admit he is enjoying their talks, it is wonderful to see them in discussion and thinking, in this day and age of the galaxy, he has witness very few Jedi that will take the time to think. Action first .. thoughts on the action later. And that is a path to the dark side. He chuckled at his thoughts, as the dark side along side the light side, only exists the physical worlds of the galaxy. It exists simply because .. sentient beings exist in it. Vexander is correct in that regard, if there was not beings, but there are and now they must find their way and live by it.

Force, the entity, is One.

However, a break is needed from their discussions, he believes. If they indicate they wish more .. he would be happy to continue, but his mind has returned to the consternation of Vexander. Something had unnerved him earlier .. something Arrol had felt, and wondered if Vexander was ready to speak more on that.

The ethereal Master seemed to be misunderstanding his perception of the darkside and his desire to erradicate such power. Both, the Force Ghost and the young apprentice were suggesting that Light couldn't exist without the dark, and that everyone had a bit of the darkside within each other. Which Vexander knew was incorrect, the darkside attempted to get into each being... but nature didn't create a being with inherited evil within.

Grinning a bit, he decided to show his respects at both and didn't say anything else about the matter. He was not there to get into arguments and, in fact; he was no longer sure how the conversation turned into a philosophical debate. Still, in his mind, the same things kept coming back... and his meeting with the Ethelwulf resurfaced.

Looking at both while he took a couple of steps to the lake, and looked at the reflecting nearby, he proceeded to speak a few words "Have you ever seen yourself in the mirror and wondered if your reflection is your projection in another dimension? With different experiences and his own voice and thoughts?" for a moment he remained looking at the reflection... he didn't expect them to understand, but perhaps their insight would allow him to understand his visions and what he just witnessed.

Arrol rose up from his seated position and walked over to Vexander by the lake. A smile on his face would be seen by those looking upon him, however Vexander would not as his attention is firmly fixed on his reflection in the water. The discussions of the day, were interesting to say the least, all of them having varying views on the topic they spoken .. Vexander strong in his defense in his beliefs, whether one agreed with him or not, it is truly admirable to be so adamant. But now as he stands there looking into his own eyes, a clouded sense surrounded the young man.

However, pondered his questions, "No... Vexander I have not", was the truthful answer. "At least not as a mortal, but as a part of the Force .. well", he smiled. "You might say I am in a different dimension. But that is not what you refer to".

"I suppose anything is possible through the Force, and there might be many possibilities as to why you feel this or even see this, but lets explore this more ... tell me... what do you see when you look upon yourself in this way .. visions? or a message? or voices as you said?. Who is the man that looks back at you".

Hearing Vexander give more of his own reason not to agree with what she or @[member="Arrol Balloch"] were trying to say, Nasika sighed. It was surprising as she thought that a knight like him would know more than a padawan like herself. Yet here she was being helped by a spirit of the force that thoguth like her. It was still something she was accepting in her mind, being able to speak with a spirit of a Jedi long dead. She could see both of them were deep into their conversation about seeing someone else when you looked in the mirror, making Nasika walk over to the water and see herself. She could see what she expected to see: herself. As such she knew who she was both inside and out. Nasika didn't say much, wanting to let the two elders speak and finish before she would.

The corellian Knight couldn't just provide information on @[member="The Cyan Blade"] , perhaps he could tell Arrol but not to the young Padawan... in fact, he was not sure if he could tell the Ghost Master.

Caressing his beard, the Knight looked to the ground and pondered for a moment. "Well..." he didn't know how to say it or if what he was about to say would make sense "...is a vision of someone I know..." which wasn't innacurate nor accurate "...he sends me a message to explore images from a past I do not remember." Vexander noticed that he was struggling with his own demonds once again, although he thought that he was settled with the visions that he had "The reason why I joined the order is because I tend to have visions about things that are different from the current reality of my life and those around me... although some are similar" Vexander thought for a moment about Coci and how he knew her through the visions "Even now, is hard to explain and there is a little I know about those visions"

Arrol moved closer to Vexander by the waters edge and looked down into his reflection. He could see the man's expression, a stoic looked shrouding a maze of complexities. A deep thinker, something Arrol likes and admires in sentient beings and encourages. Arrol raised his hands the palms facing downward over the water, they moved in an elegant motion and through the force the water shifted on Vexander's image in the water. On his face, a darkness appeared as if he was wearing a mask with only the eyes visible to Vexander. It is not the mask of his alter ego, just a general black mask.

"The man behind the mask is the same as the one standing beside me now. We all wear them, some more then others, but still we hide truths in order to protect those we care for .. ", he paused for a moment, "Visions of a past that you know nothing of, messages to explore them? hmmm, might it be time for you to let them go? consider Vexander these .. images or messages might be very things that are holding you back, to be something much much greater in this life? the life in which you walk now. They plague you or create doubts in your mind about yourself .. yes? Those we all endure as well but maybe they manifest for you differently. Learn from them, but don't allow them access to cloud you".

Arrol turned to look back toward the Padawan with a smile. He placed his hand on Vexander's shoulder, although he would not feel anything the gesture was the important thing. "I am not always right however", he looked at Vexander sideways. "But do consider removing the importance of them if they continue, and live for today with the ones you hold in your heart .. .. .. however I do beseech you .. how shall I put this? ... to cultivate your beard more". He gave Vexander a knowing wink.

"Young Padawan! what do you see when you view yourself in a mirror? I am most interested in your opinions". He walked a little way toward her now. He would leave Vexander to his thoughts for the moment.
