Some would say that Aerion Ivelisse didn't know how to be tactful.

Those people would be right.

He didn't dress to be incognito, he didn't attempt to be incognito. He just strode into the cantina, armour hardly covering the entirety of his body as he headed inside whatever this backwater planet called a cantina.

A Jedi searching for a smuggler. Or better yet, criminals. What better place to find them here? If he cared enough, he most definitely would've bet that all the patrons within were criminals of a sort, but he was only after one. A female, rumours said, but with things like these it could've been a male. Chances were they weren't even human. He sighed as he puled his coat into position over the rest of himself.

In the small of his back was his lightsabre, pressed against the light armour protecting him,and hidden by the black coat that he wore.

It was time to find some answers, but he wasn't entirely sure how he was going to go about it.

Naturally, he swept corners, but he still took a seat in the middle of the bar, by the counter. Light blue eyes glinted in the dim light from in the dark skinned facade of the Hybrid.

Rough descriptions don't really help you to look for someone.

The Force couldn't help him. It wasn't like there was some... Force Find ability.

Kassey came from all walks of life. She's seen all colors, races, species, big ones, little ones, tall and skinny and short and fat. All beings, from all different planets, doing all very different things. They were dressed differently, they acted differently, and while some may have even been the same, in Kassey's experience, no two people were never the same. This situation was no different. She had just been a smuggler, doing...well, just doing what smugglers did.

Trying to get work.

"I'll need at least half now." Kassey said as she spoke at a table, across from a Rodian man here on the sandy planet, but the warmth, the heat, it was something that she'd much rather have at this point. "That's my final offer. Usually I require two-thirds, but I'll take half."

It seemed like that was a deal, as Kassey and the male slapped hands in a pact and handed her a datacard, she only grinned from ear to ear as she then stood up and did a mock salute. "See you on Nar Shaddaa then." Was the end of that before the blonde pushed back some of her hair behind her ear and walked up to the bar herself. "I need to come here more often, the work is fine."

The bartender just flashed her a smile, and carried on with a drink order that she didn't give him yet, she had just been drinking for a while here, so he knew what she was drinking. One more lick to her lips and she gently took the glass, filled with Brandy and a splash of the locally grown fuit over a couple of pieces of ice and she helped herself to a drink.

The bartender had brought him a drink that smelled mighty bad.

He couldn't even guess as to what it was, and when he raised the cup to his lips, he was surprised to find that the excellent taste was in fact concealed by the horrid smell.

Clearing his throat, he set his cup onto the counter when, [member="Kassey Daklin"] had come up along side him to the bar. Light blue eyes, he sported. Immediately, he was looking her up and down, from her feet, up to the top of her head. Nosey, wasn't he? But that was relatively it, as he placed an elbow on the bar.

"What is it you do?"

The first thing he had heard her say was something about getting work 'here more often,' or something like that.

May as well discover what it was. Perhaps she was capable of helping him find his target.

Kassey was happy with her drink, and while she was satisfied with the job, the celebratory drink always tasted better. Once the cargo was on the ship, she would just need to drop it off without any problems. Of course, with her and her ship, there was usually some kind of problem, and that was because her ship was a piece of junk. However, it got her from one place to the next (usually) and that was what counted. Maybe she would have it looked at once she arrived on Nar Shaddaa, but honestly, she didn't trust those mechanics even if her life depended on it.

But her thoughts were mostly on going to the planet, and how easy all of this was, and it was when someone interrupted her thoughts on the matter that she turned her head and looked at the man, with a smile on her face. Usually, she knew exactly what to say whenever someone asked her that question. In this scenario, it didn't matter because the bar was scum anyway, but just to add to her personality, she licked her lips. "Import/export. I transfer product from once place, to the next." Kassey looked at the man and with a charming, flirty little look she tilted her head to the side. "And, what is it that you do, Mister....?" Kassey was waiting for him to answer with his name and his occupation, she just wondered what it was that he did...perhaps he needed some work done, as well.

There was a curious look on his face as he looked her up and down again.

Was he checking her out?

Probably, shamelessly too. Chances were she wouldn't cause a scene. Not in a place like this, he figured. Unless she knowingly had friends here, then, that would be bad for him. But he did it all the same.

Import / export? Smuggler.

I hope shes not who I'm looking for...

He shook his head lightly from side to side, a stray, tightly woven lock of his ebony hair crossing over his face as he straightened out from his slouched position. That was what his Father would want. Straight back. No slouching. Posture.

"Aren." He said. Better not to give a first name. Had to play the part of some slick smuggler, right? Light blue eyes flickered about the room. He was definitely antsy enough to be one. At least an amateur one anyway. "Pilot. For most anyone," he says, twisting his head away from her for a moment to take another sip from his cup. "But right now, I'm looking for someone." But he didn't delve as to what. He was definitely large enough to be the bounty hunter type. Sturdy, strong, his coat barely able to conceal the defined muscles. Could be a bodyguard.

"What's your name?"

A hand was extended.

Just as he checked her out, Kassey did the same think, only for her it wasn't anything more than gauging him. Yes, he was good looking, but he was...jittery, and it made her curious is to why, or what was going on. He presented his name, and then told her that he was a pilot for anyone, that was nice, she thought to herself, but then Kassey wondered why he was so jumpy or unsure of himself. She made sure to make a mental note of that, and that's when he presented the idea that he was looking for someone.

Bing.

It was not a heartbeat after that, that he asked her for her name of course, and put out his hand to shake hers. This man was out of his element, and he was looking for someone, Kassey would know exactly what to do. Clearing her throat and then putting her hand out to shake his, she did so with confidence as she said the following name, hoping no one would hear what she was about to say. Even the bartender knew better than to blow her cover.

"Ezza." She gave a gentle and yet, slightly firm grip on his hand. "So, just who are you looking for? Maybe I can help.."

There was a curious look on his face.

Perhaps he sensed a lie, perhaps he didn't. Either way, he didn't call it out, not in this sort of place.

Nonetheless, he one of his arms on the bar as he rotated on the stool so that he could scope out the room better. Easier that way. Made sure his back was to the bar, unless the bartender felt inclined on blowing his brains out the front of his skull, he figured that was the safest bet.

Nevertheless, when she shook his hand, even gripped it tighter, he figured that was just the way of smugglers. He was indifferent and shook her hand the same as he would anyone. Low on energy?

A criminal.

Though he wouldn't say that out loud. That would make him a joke, if she didn't already think he was, within the space of a heartbeat. No, instead he leaned in, full lips saying, "It's best said somewhere quieter, Ezza." And then he straightened out, as he waited for her reaction.

That was either really good, or really bad. She had to hurry up and quickly think about what she might have done, if someone was looking for her. Yeah, she worked for a lot of shady people, a lot of different kind of hutts, so it could be anyone, she thought. Did she cross someone? Was it maybe someone that killed her parents, now looking for her? There was that paranoid moment where she had no idea if he was even looking for her, but rather, perhaps he was looking for someone else.

He said that he would rather go somewhere more quiet, and she pressed her lips together and looked over at the bartender. Kassey reached over and took her drink, finished it off in one large swig, and then she looked back over to him, hands gesturing towards the door.

"Well then, I'll follow you to someone a bit quieter. Perhaps I could help you out if I have a little more information."

There was a shrug of his shoulders.

He slipped off the stool and headed for the door. In those minutes, it seemed that the previously jittery nature he had had disappeared, and now he had returned to his old ways.

Dark eye lids lowered slightly as he blinked, walking towards the exit, once they were outside, he soon found they had traded a hot and humid bar for a still hot outside world. He hoped it wouldn't ruin his hair. If there was one thing he'd care for at all times, it was the state of his dreads.

Turning back to her once they were outside, he said, "Speak truthfully. I'll know if you lie," he boasted. Father had taught him that much, at least, or just enough to get the feeling. But then again, he was a suspicious person, so even if she were telling the truth, he may or may not believe them. Probably wouldn't believe them even if he went with it.

Chances were, he was talking out of his arse.

"What's your usual cargo?"

Kassey could see the change in him. As she held her confidence, he seemed like he had gained it as well, and she might have seemed impressed at it if there was time to do so. However, when it seemed like they got outside, he was blunt, and told her not to lie, because he would know. Kassey decided to drop the pleasant attitude herself as she just narrowed her eyes, and she crossed her arms over her chest. She did not like anyone talking to her like that.

"No..you won't." She told him, after he said that he would know if she lied. Kassey just licked her lips and thought about what she was going to say to him. "So, now that the gloves are off, I'll be a little more like myself, yes? The answer to your question is...none of your business...unless you're going to offer my business. I don't have usual cargo, I take what I can get."

Now, with her attitude hard, she even smiled after the fact. "Now who are you looking for?"

He may have been hard on her in his demands, though he wouldn't call them such, still, he could respect that she'd stand her ground.

He wished more people were like that, that more Jedi were like that, instead of forfeiting ground to the Sith. If that happened, perhaps they'd still have their own world of Tython, perhaps he would've been there now. Or they'd be dead, but when it came to his home planet, he tended to be optimistic.

When she said that he wouldn't know, he shrugged his shoulders, the light blue orbs in his head hinting that he oh so yearned to continue arguing, but he decided he'd be a better person. Not between him and [member="Kassey Daklin"], but compared to himself. Those few that he knew, were quite familiar with his stubbornness. He was rooted in his ways, but when face to face with someone who was just like he was, someone had to sacrifice.

"We'll see, pretty," he said about her cargo.

"I'm looking for a smuggler. Not a real smuggler, just someone posing as one. More of a soldier than..." A hand waved in her general direction, "A smuggler." An accusation all in itself. "He captured my friend, we got him back don't worry, but his..." That 'don't worry' had been more of a joke than serious. He doubted she cared.

How did he describe a Sith Lord without saying Sith Lord? "Boss tortured him, or had one of his underlings do it." Revenge. Pure and simple. He had a plan, but things didn't always go according to those plans.

"Seen anyone around who didn't fit in?"

Besides me.

Kassey now heard his little story about someone he knew, someone posting as a smuggler, her head tilted to the side, and she realized, or hoped, that he wasn't looking for her. That was her original thought, but she would go through with Ezza at least for a little while, it was the name that she used when she didn't think that Kassey was getting a good name, but rather, a name that no one wanted to hear. At least now she could go into this knowing that no one was after her.

Yes, she might have been a little paranoid, but that was how she operated, and that was how she saw things. The story was a little curious to her, and she bit on her lip while she tried to think of anyone that didn't really fit in. "No, to be honest...I don't really..pay attention to that much detail. But, if you have a last known location, I bet we could figure out a way to find him. I'm a pretty good slicer, too."

She figured that she could add that in there, just in case they needed to do anything that might involve hacking into some kind of information terminal.

The Jedi Padawan regarded [member="Kassey Daklin"].

Even if she was a good slicer... It didn't matter. He pulled a datapad from underneath his coat and turned it on. What needed to do was go through the information gathered. Had it been on Chandrila? Yeah, that was the first sighting, and then they had tracked them to Mustafar. Got it.

"Mustafar. Will you need a console to get access?"

There was a pause.

Was he telling her to slice into Alliance Databases?

He doubted there was much information to find, especially since it had been so find the Sith Lord originally. Would she even go through on something like this? He'd take her along until he didn't need her anymore.

Julianna Nero

Wheels were turning in her head, over and over again, as she was thinking of what to do next, what to say. She was watching everything from his moves to his facial expressions to make sure that he wasn't lying to her. Even though she was still young, no experience, and she wouldn't really know for sure if one was lying, but at least she could gain that little bit of information because of his body language.

But that's when he said the location...Mustafar. She would need the console to get access. Her eyebrow raised just slightly. "I can get access. Trust me."

Then, on her end, there was a pause.

"The question is, do you even want my help? And if so, I feel the need to ask how much my help is worth to you."

Still, he didn't give her the DataPad, not wholly anyway, instead he just showed her the contents as he presented it to her. It was encrypted at the least, so even if she did use it to try and get into the Alliance servers, it'd take time before they truly determined where he was.

"That's all I want."

But then she asked him a question that was probably fairly important.

"We wouldn't be out here if I didn't want your help," he said with a shrug. "I don't know what to offer you," he had credits, or rather, his father had credits, but he couldn't get his hands on those. Not easily anyway. She didn't need to know that. The gratitude of the Alliance? Probably not considering she was a smuggler.

"Does your ship have room for a starfighter?"

[member="Kassey Daklin"]

Julianna Nero

Smuggler - Slicer - Scoundrel
The encryption was something that Kassey thought that she could do, something that she could accomplish, but it was the matter of payment that was more concerning to her than the job. The job was something that she could do without question, but the money? Now that was a different question all together.

When he said that he didn't know what to offer her, it sounded to her that he didn't have money, which made her sigh internally. Did he really not have anything for her? If that was the case, she wondered just what else she was going to get herself in to. But...while she liked credits she also liked adventure.

"A starfighter? No...but if you're offering that to me in payment, I'll take it." Kassey smiled, and then she pressed her lips together in thought. "Okay, first thing's first. If we need to get to Mustafar, we can go...and if you want to follow, I'll have no problem taking you on my ship. I can get the right console and get the information I need, and if there is any trace of him. But if this is for the matter of revenge? Then I'll just need to know more about this guy before I go and track him down."

He blinked at her.

Use his Stealth-X as payment?

No way.

That had been his only form of freedom for a long time. He was a decent pilot as well. Taken out plenty of scavengers and other criminals types who had been trying to steal from the Galactic Alliance. "I'll join you on your ship." Hopefully no one would take his Stealth-X. For their sake anyway.

"There isn't a lot to know about him." Besides the fact that he commanded a Star Destroyer and had tortured many. Probably had a lot of useful stuff on his ship too. "He's a Sith Lord." A casual shrug of his shoulders. He also made sure to play off his lack of knowledge on the person of note too. He was good at that sort of thing, mostly because his facial expression rarely changed, even if something had come as a surprise to him. He had detached himself from socializing in the past.

Emotions came slow to him.

When he said that he would join her on her ship, Kassey raised her finger in the air as if she was trying to make a point. "Okay, deal, but I'm very...particular." In other words, she was very organized, she was obsessive compulsive and she liked things a certain way, liked to do certain things, and having someone on her ship meant that there was going to be something out of place and that she had to make sure things were back in order after the fact.

Also, she had to make sure that he wasn't going to kill her and take her ship.

She started to head towards the hanger bay towards her ship, and motioned for him to follow, however, Kassey stopped dead in her tracks whenever he said Sith Lord.

Slowly she turned around (almost dramatically, as if she was in a holovid), and raised her eyebrows. "Sith..Lord? You want me? A simple smuggler, to go and hunt down a Sith Lord? Do I have that right?"

Aerion shook his head.

"I only need information on him." He explained without skipping a beat. "He used to be on Mustafar, but we chased him off." It's fairly obvious that once you find the location someone was using as a base, especially when the rest of your faction was crumbling upon yourself, you didn't stay in that same place. He was just some Warlord, chances were they wouldn't find anything there, Aerion figured. "There won't be anything there. We just need access to the consoles planetside," he explained.

There'd probably be some fail safes, but he could handle those himself.

"Are you still game? Or is this sort of venture too much for you?"

Was he taunting her? Maybe, but his facial expression didn't appear to be amused. Only his light blue eyes glinted slightly, amusedly, wanting her, expecting her to come along.

Information..okay, she could do information. That was something that she was able to do, and do very well, actually. But Kassey had to remember that she could be playing with fire here, and that was beyond dangerous. So, she calmed herself down for a moment and then realized that she could get through this if she could do it right...especially whenever he asked if it was too much for her. Kassey grinned and rolled her eyes playfully. "Puh-lease..this is perfect! If I can get on planetside and get a hold of the consoles I could catch up on all of the information possible."

Maybe that little push did do something for Kassey and did push her a little bit to the point where she really wanted to get going on this. After all, while it might have been dangerous, it was something that she wanted to take as a badge of honor after the fact. He was right when he expected her to come along, she did come along and wanted to skip towards her ship at that point.

"As long as no Sith Lords come after me, we're all good. So...Mustafar is where we need to go, anywhere else that you think he might be lurking?"
