Jedi In The Mist

It was an unfortunate series of events that led Tyr-Kyr to leave his isolation in the temple for the arid jungles that now stretch on before him. Tyr-Kyr had become filled with doubt in recent months due to the constant warring of the Republic, and had long since withdrawn himself from the sight of his masters in the hopes of rendering a decision for himself. The Liberation of Ossus had taken a heavy toll on both his body and heart, and though he knew it was necessary, the shroud of darkness that fell upon the battlefield that day still haunt his mind. All he attempted to speak of his doubts to dismissed him with the hunger for war in theirs eyes, and it was from this Tyr-Kyr decided that the true Order had died long ago. Quickly leaving Couscant, Tyr-Kyr plotted a course for a planet in which he was familiar but knew was scarcely populated, Felucia.

The Force here was purer and more noticeable than in the sprawling metropolis off Couscant, and as he looked onward a veil of serenity fell over him bringing him a new sense of peace. Tyr-Kyr then began walking out into the fungal forests that stretch on for miles in all directions. He knew not what hey sought here alone, in the hostile alien place, but the flow of the Force had pulled him here for reasons unknown. He could only hope that somewhere in this maze of foliage he would find the answers he seeks, and the course of action best suited for one such as him.

Miri Shorn has been on Felucia for quite sometime simply meditating within the force here. Most found Felucia to be a living contradiction as it was alive with the dark side and the light side of the force. And for Miri to grow strong enough to face her brother one day she would need the power of one her brother never trifled with @[member="Ashin Varanin"] but she was years away from being strong enough to gain Ashin's attention so for now she grew in her connection to the force and her patience as she learned the sometimes harsh lessons this world had for her. Her eyes fluttered open as someone pierced the bubble which was the influence of her senses as she felt their presence grow nearer and near. In truth Miri simply stayed where she was awaiting the inevitable arrival of whoever disturbed her self reflection as her eyes scanned the treeline before her awaiting to at least catch a glimpse of whether this man was friend or foe.

As the man would come into sight, Miri slowly began to stand up in case the man was a potential slaver or something weird like that.

Feeling a strong disturbance in the Force is something even a Padawan is capable of with enough training, it is the slight whispers and murmurs of those well hidden that is truly a feat only a few are privy to. Tyr-Kyr made no effort to hide his own presence, for he thought there would be few if any able to sense him here, he was wrong. He moved through the brush and rested his hand upon one of the many towering mushrooms that make up the majority of the forests on Felucia, and it was the he felt it. It started as a tug and then became a constant pull drawing his attention out through the towering fungi and upon a distant figure. He knew not who this person was but the fact that the Force flowed through her so intensely worried Tyr-Kyr deeply.

The damage was now down and he could not simply walk away without arousing suspicion, Tyr-Kyr began to move towards the figure ever so cautiously. His eyes unblinking and his heart unwavering, despite the horrors of his mind growing along with his anxiety.

Miri watched the man slowly and felt a sense of reluctance to approach her. Miri felt slightly insulted naturally taking it as a slight against her looks until her more stable mind took over. He didn't seem to have much to say either as they both seemed to gauge each other. As a princess she was not that good at starting a conversation because people have always wanted her attention for whatever the reason may be. Power clung to the lightsider however she could feel it so clearly now, she could almost read his emotions but didn't know the side effects so she didn't push.

"Am I that unappealing?" She said with a teasing voice as she watched for his reaction. Trying to gain some type of information about what type of person he was because with him appearing and not saying nothing the man was looking very suspect. She began suspect that this may be a trap which caused her to instinctively take a step back from the man and her mind being set to over load at the same time.

Felucia, a planet that's balance is constantly shifting. In the past this planet was home to multiple battles, and has hat bored dark memories, and presences. That has begun to take a toll on the planet and its flora and fauna. It being in Imperial space doesn't help the fact that's its inhabitants are easily influenced by the presence of light or dark. Now it would seem many people have found a solace here. Some seeking isolation, so that they can regroup, so that they could make decisions they couldn't before. Possibly events that have rendered them scarred. Others seeking a place to hone their skills, hoping to face the harshness of this planet by themselves. There are many answers in this vast, translucent, jungle. One would have to go through the dark to find the light. To make sure they don't lose themselves in the forever shifting balance of the force, or to the inhabitants of the jungle. One would need to be mindful, while Felucia was beautiful on the outside, this jungle is one of the worst enemies to face alone.

The feminine voice of the woman cut through the apprehension that had fallen over Tyr-Kyr, and though he was still cautious of approaching a stranger, he knew that turning to flee would cast a mark of suspicion upon greater than the one he already had. Removing his hand from the tree Tyr-Kyr began his approach, still wary of course but the fleeting sense of danger he had often felt when faced with enemies was not present here, which lead him to believe that she was perhaps a friend. His eyes never left her, constantly eyeing and observing her waiting for the slightest hint or failing of a guise that may not even be present. Tyr-Kyr decided he would size up the woman by engaging her in conversation, it would by him time to determine if she truly meant no harm.

"Not unappealing, just surprising." He said coyly as he neared her. "I had not expected to encounter anyone here, at least not so soon."

"Why not? Felucia is quite the world to see in one's force journey. I know you can feel the both sides of the force her in a shaky but stable balance." Miri could see that the man was still getting a feel for her so she did not approach him. As she approached a tree stump she simply walked up the base of it while focusing her energy to keep her up until she reached a tree limb. Her rather untrained senses were alerted to the another force user; this one was a woman that was stronger than her but of the light side. Miri ran her free hand that was not on a limb through her hair while looking at them both. "Welcome. . . it seems I am being greeted by many jedi today." She said this with an easy going smile as she ran her hand along the the trees; she couldn't help but wonder exactly what happened to make the jedi of the galaxy so wary. In these times the republic was flourishing and the evil of the galaxy was receding though anyone smart knew that they were not gone.

"Maybe we've all met for a reason or by chance either way I have no ill will towards the Jedi."

The other presence was a familiar one, yet far off it seemed. Another Jedi, and another veteran of Ossus if Tyr-Kyr remembered correctly. Nevertheless his immediate attention need to remain transfixed upon the woman before him. She was no Jedi, that was obvious, but in these days there were many force users appearing within the galaxy. Not very long ago only the Jedi and Sith appeared with such frequency but with the rise of different force teaches several new sects of powerful force users had taken root.

"It is that, but deep in Empire's territory it remains a world travelled by few. You say a force journey has brought you here, if that is true then we may indeed share a reason for coming here."
