Description: Jedi Healers are a specialized field of study for Jedi Consulars. As the name implies, Jedi Healers focus much of their attention on the healing of the mind and body. Traditionally, Jedi Healers used specialized crystals to amplify their abilities and treated wounded among the Jedi as well as in hospitals and on the battlefield. Jedi Healers focused on using the Living Force to heal the wounded.
These robes are designed to aid in the healing process of the Jedi Healers. Inlaid within the intricate designs on the robes are small, force attuned crystals. These crystals allow the Jedi to achieve a greater degree of focus on the Living Force as well as aiding in meditation. The Healer Robes also come with a utility belt designed to hold various supplies needed in healing (e.g., kolto injectors, bandages).
In a perfect world, Jedi Healers would spend their days in hospitals and at the Academies healing the sick. However, as Jedi, they too must sometimes answer the call to war. As such, the Jedi Healer robes offer some defensive function to battlefield Healers. The outer layer of the Robes, made from the thick hide of the Rancor, provides a degree of protection from blaster fire. Additionally, there is a fine layer of armorweave mesh in the underlay of the robes, provide some light resistance to lightsaber attacks.
