Jedi Found.

Voss. Home of the Silver Jedi Order, and final destination of Calder's trip across the stars. On his way he had seen the evil of the galaxies citizens, as well as the selfless acts of many more. He had fought against the Sith, and helped rebuild alongside the Jedi. And now, here at the home of the Silvers, he hoped to finally join the Order itself.

Once again his hulking form had to squeeze it's way out of the entrance to the spaceport, something he would never grow use to. Yet as he stepped out into the city for the first time, he found himself greeted by the calm. The Spirits here were serene, pure. Beautiful. His eyes closed as he let their whispers pass over him like a morning breeze, and he had never felt more at peace.

And peace was why he had come to Voss. He had come to continue the training of Padawans Dresari, Vahn and Starwind, and had picked up a few more along the way. But the session had not begun just yet, and in the meantime, the Jedi Master would decide to explore the area around the Temple on Voss for a little while. He was calm, serene, his expression stoic as he would gaze around the area while he walked, being able to sense the presences around him...

Though he couldn't help but stare for a moment when a literal giant bear would walk into the spaceport.

[member="Calder Icehammer"]

He could already feel the eyes upon him. Here it was, a giant bear with a mace the size of a small human in his single grip, casually walking towards the Jedi Temple. It was a situation he was going to have to get use to now in the wide galaxy. Few could match his height after all, and most marveled at the larger beings. Yet as he walked, he could hear the spirits call. Someone more attuned to the spirits had found him. Stopping mid-step, his head would swivel to where [member="Joshua DragonsFlame"] , his blue eyes blinking.

Well, the bear had seen him, and knew he was staring. No point in not speaking now. After a few moments, he would finally speak up.

"You lost? You don't seem like someone who could bear to ask for directions."

A joke. Well, that was one way to start. The Jedi Master had no fear, despite the fact the bear looked like it'd cause him un-bear-able pain should he manage to tick it off. And that would be just paw-ful if it did. But he would watch the bear for a moment, curious to see it's response. It was a force sensitive, and even seemed to know how to use it, by what he could sense... Though he didn't know if it could hide it's presence. That was something generally taught. It was possible, he supposed, that the bear didn't need to, since it was in a sea of presences...

The pun sailed right over the Beorni's head. Calder didn't know what a bear was after all. But he did smile to [member="Joshua DragonsFlame"] in his ursa way, nodding once. "Everywhere I have been outside my peoples island has been quite the trial to find where I am or where I am going. Do you know where the Jedi are on this planet?" No reason to beat around the bush, though Icehammer already had a feeling that the person he was talking to was a Jedi himself.

Pun went over his head, huh? Well that was unbearably boring. Regardless, the least he could do was be polite and indulge this bear before things got far too confusing for him to bear in this instance. Especially as he asked about the Jedi. Well, he was a Jedi, right? He was a Jedi indeed, and he could probably help the guy out, so why not, right? Since he had grinned and beared his joke.

"The Silver Jedi's temple is just over that way" He would remark, pointing toward it in the distance. "I can escort you, if you wish? Tell me, what is your business with the Silver Jedi?"

[member="Calder Icehammer"]

"I wish to learn what it is to be a Jedi, and perhaps join their ranks." That was the short version of his reasoning. Though, he did not want to tie [member="Joshua DragonsFlame"] up with his wandering. A direction was good enough for the bear. A respectful bow of his head was given to the Snarkinator. "Thank you for pointing the way however. I will go and see. I hope you have a pleasant day."

"Huh. Neat. Well, good luck with that" He remarked, as a smirk would begin to spread across his lips. "I can't wait to see what Master you get assigned to" He would add, knowing full well he was in that pool, and had been at the front of said pool for a few weeks now as he accumulated a roster of new Padawans that would go with the three he already had... He was curious...

Would the bear be one of them?

Knowing his luck? Probably.

With a chuckle, he would nod his head in farewell as he would walk away, heading to the temple himself...
